This restaurant is definitely worth going to. Everything was amazing. We ordered the surf and turf, salmon, ravioli, cold antipasto, fried calamari and i had a lobster dish that wasn’t on the menu because my wife had the last surf and turf. Our waiter Jose was very good he was on point with our service, he was very friendly and attentive. This diner was probably the best we’ve had here. We will definitely be back. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Lives up to the stars! Our waiter Bill was probably the finest server we've ever had. Personable, friendly, attentive and an all around great guy. Food was top notch. The 28 day aged rib eye with truffle butter will make you forget all about the woes of the world! Cocktails were excellent. Desserts were even better.

My husband and I ate here for my birthday dinner and it was very disappointing to say the least. The atmosphere was nice but very loud. It was difficult to hear my conversation across the table. The appetizers were just ok. (Shrimp cocktail which was 4 shrimp; calamari. Decent but nothing special) My husband got the pork chop and I got the veal saltimbocca. Both were EXTREMELY salty. My veal was absolutely drowning in sauce (picture is AFTER I scraped off a huge amount of sauce) and even the spinach side was beyond salty. My dish was inedible and after two bites I stopped. They offered a new dish but we had waited an HOUR & A HALF for our entrees so I wasn't willing to kill more of the night waiting for a replacement. Everything really needed a hit of acidity or Some type of fresh aspect on the plate and it all fell so short of expectations. I've had better diner food. Our server Richard was nice but extremely overwhelmed and inattentive. We went without drinks for long stretches of time. Would not recommend this restaurant. Don't waste your time or money here.

Verdi is a great restaurant and the new location with ocean views is amazing. But this new location is not without hiccups. We spent over two hours at Verdi (and it was not by choice). I usually like to dine under an hour. It was incredibly slow, but our waiter did his best to offset the wait with his really welcoming personality. And the food is delicious, but at the price, that should be a given.

We were seated right away, and our waitress came over to us right away. All of the food we ordered came out in a timely fashion. My only real complaint is even though the food was good and well presented. It was pretty expensive for what we got.

My second home and family. The best staff, Chef Mike, All servers (Brian and Mark are my guys), Liz the hostess. Great atmosphere. Delicious food with a generous menu and extra special specials. It's hard to please me with Italian, so this is a top go to.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Upscale but everyone was so friendly. Our server was Brian and to say his service was superb is an understatement. He suggested the special of the day (flounder stuffed with lobster) and it was as delicious as he described. We also had the fried calamari, broccoli rabe, and rigatoni bolognese. You know how calamari can be chewy? Not here. It was BUTTER! MELT IN YOUR MOUTH! Hats off the Chef Michael!

I gotta say this restaurant exceeded my expectations. The decor and atmosphere are great so dress up. I was impressed with the staff friendliness. The chef made delicious food and the drinks made our experience that much more memorable. To the staff here I say thank you. To the fellas treat your lady right and go to IL Verde at Tropicana in AC NJ.

Get the gnocchi!! It was one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. Service was excellent, thank you Mark for making my dining experience a great one. Adding this place to my must visits in Atlantic city!

You can trust the reviews, the service was excellent at the desk the lady was welcoming, and the server Mark cordial and a gentleman, the food, salmon dish espectacular but be aware that the crab meat from the top, it overwhelms the salmon, nicely done to experience both sea creatures in a melted dish, sided w/ the risotto, mix champignons w/ truffles and Parmesan just made the perfect match, hearty meal to hold and chew, you cannot go wrong choosing even the bottom of the list wines (the red wine) was delicious, a place to return!

I can not say enough about this restaurant. Food beyond expectation. We ate at the bar and were served by William aka "Bill" Professional with a great personality! You will return to this gem in AC as will we. And yes reasonable pricing for this quality.

Pretty restaurant; weird that wall art was illuminated but it somehow worked. Service started out a little stiff but got better in the end. We had a late reservation and weren’t that hungry but still wanted to try the food. Not sure if that’s why the server seemed non-engaging or was just had a long day and ready for his shift to be over. Food was really good. We tried the shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, the gnocchi, the ravioli, fingerling potatoes, risotto, and the crème brûlée. It’s worth mentioning that we were pleasantly surprised how good the risotto was, considering it’s a side dish and they give you a decent portion. Will definitely return.

From the moment we were seated, the service and staff were exceptional. Napkins placed on our laps, consistent check ins from our waiter and the hosts, and hot, fresh towels to wipe our hands after the meal. The food was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. Don’t miss this gem hidden in the casino area of the Tropicana, you won’t regret it!

We had an amazing dinner to celebrate our anniversary! Thanks Chef Herb for all the great food. The staff from the time we entered to the time we left was amazing. We cannot wait to come back.

My daughter and I enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at IL Verde. It was a truly fantastic experience. The staff treated my daughter like a princess! Each course was served with nothing but courtesy, kindness and attention to detail. The food was absolutely delicious. 5 stars isn't enough!

I had visited Il Verdi with one other on an impromptu trip into Atlantic City where we found ourselves wandering around Tropicana developing quite the appetite. In what was essentially a mental coin toss decision we walked into Il Verdi to be greeted by our gracious host, Ricky. Though we had no reservation, Ricky was able to quickly and gracefully find us a pleasant 2 top seat with a nice view of the sun setting over the Atlantic!! We were greeted by our knowledgeable server Barbara (who we later learned has been at this very location for over 20 years!!), she never let us go without the entire time we were in her company. Prompt water and bread refills, excellent menu suggestions (my accompanying took her up on the rigatoni bolognese) while I deviated to the gnocchi conricotta, preceded by the caprese salad and crab cakes. Everything so fresh, delicious, and comforting. We've only visited once so far, but I'll go out on a limb and say you may not be able to make a wrong decision here!! Other thank yous are certainly due to Andres the busser who was so quick to clear any empty plates we had left at the end with a warming smile. And Javier the manager who I hope is smiling at this review.
