My
friend
had
her
wedding
here,
so
I
recently
stayed
here
for
an
extended
weekend.
While
her
wedding
was
beautiful
-
the
setup
and
everything
was
great,
the
staff
was
kind
and
her
wedding
couldn't
have
been
better
-
the
accommodations
were
not.
I
had
a
king
bedroom
and
while
the
bed
was
comfy,
that
was
the
extent
of
what
I
liked.
There
was
a
spotlight
right
outside
of
my
window
that
illuminated
the
room
all
night
despite
the
blackout
curtains.
The
walls
were
paper
thin,
so
when
my
neighbors
were
watching
a
movie
and
playing
pranks
on
each
other
at
1
am,
I
was
privy
to
everything.
When
my
other
neighbor's
alarm
kept
going
off
at
4am,
I
too
was
woken
up
at
4am.
In
the
3
nights
I
stayed,
I
never
got
more
than
two
hours
of
sleep
each
night
due
to
various
disturbances
both
in
the
hallways
and
in
the
neighboring
rooms.
I
was
afraid
to
even
talk
during
my
stay
because
I
knew
the
people
on
both
sides
would
hear
every
word
of
my
conversation.
One
lamp
switch
was
broken,
so
the
only
way
to
turn
it
on
and
off
was
unplugging
and
replugging,
which
felt
like
a
safety/fire
hazard.
The
fan
didn't
work
in
the
bathroom,
so
it
quickly
turned
into
a
sauna
and
the
trim
around
the
glass
shower
door
was
deteriorating,
so
the
door
wouldn't
shut
all
the
way.
My
slippers/socks
quickly
turned
black
just
by
walking
on
the
carpet
on
the
first
day,
so
from
the
time
I
woke
up
to
the
time
I
went
to
bed
and
was
in
my
room,
I
had
shoes
on
my
feet.
We
were
also
charged
a
resort
fee,
which
despite
being
there
for
a
wedding
and
having
0
time
to
do
absolutely
anything
else,
I
sort
of
understood
...
until
I
found
out
that
most
amenities,
like
the
pool
and
fitness
center,
were
closed.
Add
that
to
the
parking
fees
on
top
of
what
we
paid
for
the
room
and
the
quality
of
our
accommodations,
it
was
a
bit
ridiculous.
