Not horrible but not worth 200 or more per night on any day. Check in was smooth and easy. Front desk staff were very polite and security was nice. The room was clean for the most part and the sheets were clean also. My issue is the look of the hotel rooms. The room and hotel hallways just look very old as if you are in a motel. The rooms had this carpet that didn't look like it had been cleaned in a little while and the room was dusty. The bathroom had a brown stain on the ceiling in the above the tub and the tub had some water stains and rust as well. The hotel is really showing its age and Marriott should do a better job of maintaining this hotel. This hotel is in desperate need of renovations. This is my second time staying here and my previous stay the room was much nicer and better maintained. I cant say ill return unless some renovations are made. I gave 3 stars for check in/check out and customer service.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was not bad, I did notice some stains on sheets after a day of staying here, housekeeping did not clean the room while I was staying there (2nights). Not like I needed them to or needed anything but I just thought they would. Convenient location, Shoe Bar was nice. $15 Parking per day isn’t crazy to me, they give you a pass to drive in and out of the garage as you please. They have vending machine and ice machine. View is nice. I would stay here again if need be.

Stayed overnight last weekend July 28-29 Room was comfortable but beware! IT IS A DOG FRIENDLY HOTEL!! Dogs everywhere!!! I am highly allergic and when sitting in the chair in the room my allergies kicked in! Congestion and sneezing! 2 door down had 3 dogs in her room! Barking at 2A.m. And again at 9 !! I called to report it and they explained the ‘dog friendly’ hotel!! Obviously they don’t thoroughly clean after a pet is in the room. Never staying again. If smoking is a health hazard so are pets to some of us!

Literally the only thing good about this dated hotel is the location. I have platinum elite Bonvoy status, but I also have generally low standards. Somehow even with extremely low standards, this hotel (which was the definition of opulent in 1993 and appears to be a time capsule at this point) managed to let me down. Their “concierge lounge” was a coffee maker and some nutrigrain bars. No bottled water. No soda. No juice. I’ve lowered my expectations since the pandemic and don’t expect a club lounge experience that could replace a meal with an open bar these days, but I’ve received better hospitality at a $20 roadside motel. What really takes the cake is the downright nasty, rude, entitled housekeeping staff. We had already confirmed our 2pm checkout. Traveling with kids we tend to pack our car before breakfast, but we planned to freshen up a bit after exploring the boardwalk before hitting the road. I went back up to use the bathroom around 10:00 am, after we finished our breakfast. Well before even the standard 12pm checkout. The housekeeper, who had already started the room turnover, spent several minutes yelling at me and I finally was like “listen I have to poop. I’m going to do so in the room I paid for. You can leave, or you can stay and watch, frankly I don’t care at this point”. We hadn’t checked out, there was no reason for housekeeping to think it was acceptable to start room turnover yet. I shouldn’t have to fight a housekeeper to use the bathroom in my own hotel room before checkout time, regardless of if our belongings were still in the room.

I've stayed here in the past and had no problems. This time was different! Room was dirty, toilet don't flush correctly! There was a soccer tournament at the convention Center so it was extremely busy and noisy. Couldn't get seats in restaurant, etc. Because of amount of people. Elevators took forever. Definitely not worth the price plus no freebreakfast, no club access and no free parking.

I was a little unsure about staying here but was attending a conference at the convention center. The lobby is clean and beautiful. My room was very clean, and I was pleasantly surprised that it was serviced each day - clean towels, bed made etc. Bottled water was appreciated. The staff working were all super kind, helpful, and I didn't pass a single person who failed to say hello! I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others! I also tried the shoe bar, the gentleman working was really nice!

Good prices for a good location. It is connected to the convention center which was convenient. A few blocks away from the boardwalk. It’s nice and quiet also. They have 2 free bottled waters, and free coffee. The rooms were decent sizes. I’d recommend the Sheraton.

The hotel isn’t very handicap friendly. You are pretty much forced to use and pay for valet so you don’t have to walk from the convention center parking garage. The service so far has been ok. Not liking that it’s pet friendly but was the hotel used for our event so due to convenience we stayed.

I didn't get to stay, but my partner Did and it was a great experience. It was quiet and Quaint. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Always willing to meet needs whilst giving proper distance and respect. Thanks so much. It was much needed RR and business trip. He was able to use wifi without issues and was very satisfied. 👏

This hotel is a good hotel, the rooms are spacious, refrigerator and microwave in the room, and other amenities. The rooms are very quiet and comfortable (especially the beds), however the hotel is in desperate need of updating. It retains a late 90's decor. The carpet is worn and the elevators need a thorough cleaning as some smell possibly due to pets. The hotels location is fabulous if you are attending a convention at the conference center as it is right across the street. Parking for the hotel is in the convention center.

I gave this place 3 starts because its location was convenient for me, the check in process was quick and smooth, my room was acceptably clean and had a great view. Why not more stars? For the price it lacks amenities. "Today", the restaurant was closed. There is only one entrance that faces away from the city and only toward the convention center. The restaurant closes quite early so in order to get food you must go out and walk all the way around the building along a fairly deserted street. The rooms are clean, but run down - tub resurfacing job is chipping, sheets are threadbare, towels seemed old. The water pressure isn't great and the hot water is scalding. The two queen beds are actually doubles. But, the view was fantastic! Just not worth $200.

I was a little bit skeptical staying here after reading the reviews but turns out the hotel is absolutely fine. The hotel is a bit dated but acceptable and clean. The check in agent Khalil was super friendly and helpful. Parking is across the hotel at the convention centre so make sure to drop off your bags in front of the hotel first (you can park there up to 15 minutes for check in). If you’re arriving on the train from Philly then this is the most convenient option. Location wise, it’s a 10 minute walk to Caesars and 15 minutes to the boardwalk walking through the outlet; some reviews suggested the area was sketchy but we felt safe walking back from the casinos. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at in Atlantic City, I would happily stay here again.

Convenient location not directly on the boardwalk but a pretty easy 10-15 minute walk to there and casinos like Caesars. Parking is available at the convention center across from the hotel. The hotel is kind of like going back in time and it clearly shows its age. The room has a 80s-90s era motel design. The beds were worn and the AC in the room made a ton of noise and struggled to run and keep the room cool when it was 60 degrees and sunny outside. The lounge is large but only has a tiny selection of snacks and fruit bars plus a coffee machine. It's always dirty and has no attendants. Honestly it's the saddest lounge I've ever seen at a Marriott/Sheraton property. The pool is closed indefinitely with COVID as the excuse as of Oct 2022. The buffet breakfast is awful. Our breakfast attendant was sweet and extremely attentive, but the food itself was of poor quality. Bacon was chewy, pancakes were hard, and eggs were rubbery. This is a pet friendly hotel but there are no poop bag stations outside so many inconsiderate owners left their pet's poop in the grass. The poop remained for the entirely of our stay.

I was surprised at how beautiful this hotel is. When you first enter the building its like stepping back in time, but perfectly preserved. Then you get to your room and see that the rooms are 100% up to date with all the technology that we are accustomed to today. The service from check in to check out was superb. I was beyond impressed with every person working there from the front desk to the kind gentlemen at the valet to the thorough housekeepers. Every worker was helpful and knowledgeable. I will always stay at this establishment from now on when i visit Atlantic City. Some of the casinos need to shadow the workers here to learn how to treat guests. Thank you Sheraton for making my stay memorable and for handling everything so i could finally relax!

Came to AC for a convention and was recommended this hotel by the convention staff. In hindsight, I should've went elsewhere. Room felt dated and like it hadn't been deep cleaned in some time. Found some hairs in my bathroom that clearly didn't belong to me. Shower didn't turn on fully so the tub kept filling up with water while I showered. Parking is a mess and way too far from the actual hotel. And to top it all off, I found this old beer can in my trash bin. Needless to say, I will not be using the Sheraton on my next stay in AC. Look elsewhere!!

The hotel staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful. Parking is offered but it is $15/day and a bit of walk or you can pay $30/day for valet. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was not amazing. There were cigarette ashes on our bed and even the bed skirt, we called to have them changed and they left the bed skirt with the ashes still in them. Our bathroom towels also had stains on them.

I thought it was a really good property (especially when you weigh the competition) and look forward to returning. Totally decent convention center hotel with excellent employees. It isn't brand new, obviously, and could use some freshening up (like nearly every airport & convention hotel I've ever been to) but it's plenty clean and still felt pretty classy to me. Enjoyed the view from my upgraded room but the "club lounge" literally consists of one slow "Starbucks" machine that will dispense a cup of coffee (no espresso, no latte, no cappuccino) or hot water, a plastic tube with some stale bar snack mix and a tray of granola bars. Don't pay extra for this. Public spaces are nice, with a big lobby & areas to sit, hang out or do work. Elevators worked well. Great hot water/pressure in bathroom. HVAC older but effective and easy to use. $15 daily credit in [average, typical] gift shop for platinum breakfast. Enjoyed my stay very much and felt welcomed by the professional & hospitable staff

Friendly staff upon check in, in the hotel store and with room service. Quick valet service with an easy to use app to know when your vehicle is ready for you. The hotel rooms are comfortable. The only downfall is the pool is not open and has been closed for a while, which should be updated/portrayed on their website.

They put too many pending charges on your card that they don't discuss upon ordering the room. Payments are non refundable. It's a dog friendly hotel, but housekeeping does not like to clean rooms with dogs even after exiting the room with the dog. Bathrooms old and small with difficulty controlling the hot and cold water along with the water pressure. Hot is way too hot and cold can also get hot. Stains on the carpet in the room. Small black stains on bedding. Refrigerator was not thoroughly cleaned, and one of the shelves was broken. On a positive note it's right next to the NJ transit station, and the Dog fee is reasonable. If you have the extra money, take your dog Harahs. If not, Sheraton is an okay choice.

The Sheraton and Atlantic City convention center is a great place to bring your friends family or even a night out by yourself. The staff at the front desk is so caring devoted and cheerful. I was greeted and walked through the booking of the room. Once I got to the room everything was in immaculate condition, very clean, and in order. Anything that you would like to do is in walking distance from the Sheridan Atlantic City convention center and hotel. I highly recommend to anybody looking for anything from a weekend getaway or a vacation. I had a fantastic experience and you will too.

Property is extremely old, and it shows. Renovations have not been done, and there seemed to be an ant issue. I found several of them on my bed. In addition, the billing department made a lot of issues , and I was charged three completely different amounts for my one night stay. When I called in, I was told they are unsure..... The location is far from the action of AC, and is right on top of the local AC area, which is poverty stricken - and at night, not a fun place to be walking around. That being said there is a lot of character on this once beautiful property and the rooms are large for AC standards. Other info: Self Parking $20 daily charge with in/out priveleges ** It is a bit of a walk through the Atlantic City Convention center to reach the hotel which is across the street from the parking lot. Do yourself a favor and unload bags at front entry prior to parking your vehicle. Valet Parking - Advertised, however not available. Incidental hold - $50 Hope this helps. Cheers !

Excellent customer service... Gwen was extremely patient and friendly when our friends had banking issues with their reservation. After we stepped in to help our friends, She and the staff treated us to an amazing gift of local treats. Super-service Shout out to Gwen! Hotel is decent. Rooms could use some updating but we're clean. Walls are a little thin and plumbing is noisy, but still got a good night's sleep. Housekeeping staff were friendly, responsive, efficient, and effective. We were there for a dance convention and the event, especially from the hotel's side was run well! Would have no problem coming back!

The room offers a wonderful view, effective heating, and air circulation. Nevertheless, the furnishings are outdated, and the bedsheets are of low quality. I observed the hotel manager casually leaning against the wall behind the front desk, supervising her staff. It appears that she lacks enthusiasm for her role. There is no staff member at the entrance to greet guests, and the room cleaner's performance was subpar.

I was there for 1 night. Everyone was so very nice! Very clean. The only issue was the bed pillows. 4 pillows and they should have been thrown away a long time ago. The stuffing was just about gone and there was zero comfort. They need to address this.

After the first night I feel that my experience has been about average. I have noticed that some corners of the room are not very clean. The sheets are not very high quality, almost feels like paper. I am paying for a double queen but it feels like a full sized bed. Parking is $20 a day in the garage across the st.

Wonderful hotel, but there was a bit of a wall to the boardwalk. The restaurant on the premises doesn't allow you to take food to your room or leave the restaurant for that matter. We didn't use any services, so I can't rate Service. The staff was awesome and the rooms were clean

Extremely disappointed in my stay. I have been coming here for years for a conference and the hotel has gone downhill every year. This might be my last time. As a Platinum Elite member, I may forgo my points next year and stay somewhere else. The rooms are dirty and in need of major updating. Carpet bucking and dirty, beds not laying flat, bathrooms dirty, and all around not a great experience. Only reason for 1 star was the nice and accommodating front desk staff.
