Let me start by saying that Resorts isn't a bad place to stay. Google defines 3 stars as "It's okay" and I'd say that's accurate. Resorts is simple. The mini fridge is not stocked. There's no microwave in your room. The towels feel as though they were likely sandpaper in a previous life. The iron is about as leaky as the bladder of the average casino goer here. The bed side alarm clock is old enough to gamble. The entire building hasn't been updated in many many years, possibly in an effort to remain familiar to their primary demographic. The casino is small and dimly lit. The bathrooms are... clean enough. The slot machines are the only new thing in sight. There's a security guard who is extremely concerned about whomever is smoking in the non-smoking section of the casino, despite it being mere feet away from the smoking section. I didn't utilize any of the resort aspects of Resorts. The pool was closed when I stayed, but I don't think that was reflected in what I paid. And I wouldn't accuse Resorts of splurging on it's food offerings either. The back door letting out to the boardwalk is probably the best feature of the hotel, as you can quickly and easily access the Hard Rock. There you can find a far larger and nicer casino with substantially better options for dining and entertainment. Although I suppose the 24hr Dunkin Donuts and the Wet Willies at Resorts was very welcome. The 10 minute walk to the bathroom from their Asian/Sushi restaurant? Less welcome. Tl;Dr: Inexpensive hotel has cheap offerings. Water is wet. Second hand smoke is bad for you, even if you're 10 feet away.

I was initially afraid to stay here from some other reviews, but we had a wonderful stay! Not only was the room very clean and spacious, but it is actually connected to the hard rock hotel with an indoor bridge. Or you can simply walk out to the boardwalk and walk next-door. We absolutely loved our stay. We did initially book a non-smoking room, and when we got there, she tried to give us a smoking one. When we told her we booked non-smoking, she immediately corrected the issue. Staff was super pleasant, room was very clean and spacious, air conditioner worked great And I have no complaints at all. We didn’t even hear any noise in the morning like some other reviews had suggested. We did stay in the rendezvous tower in room 5501.

    1. I was told the parking in the garage was free but that the parking across the street was $10 so we parked in the garage but were charged $10 anyways when we left. 2. When booking our room we chose a room that stated it had an “ocean view” and it even showed the ocean view in the photos but our view was of generators and the back of another hotel. 3. The photos showed a bath tub (we have a toddler so a bath tub was important) but it only had a shower. We will not be going there ever again.

For the price and location this place was fine. The staff was extremely friendly and fun. Our room was a bit on the small side. My husband and I are both tall and we felt cramped when using the bathroom and shower. The other issue with the room is that it's says ocean view but all we got was a view of the side of the hard rock and a slight view of the ocean, I guess it's still a ocean view just not what I expected. The bed was comfortable and the room was extremely clean. We had a random movie charge that we did not rent but the front desk took care of if it immediately. The casino itself was fun. Smaller then I'm use too but still had a good time. Lots of great bars and food options and located right on the boardwalk with great access to the beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will return.

Great hotel and casino. We had no issues with our 24 hour visit. We asked for towels and pillows got them within 20 minutes. We visited the awesome pop up ‘78 bar for Karaoke on Thursday night and had a blast. We lost some $ but had a great experience overall. Definitely coming back!

Rooms were ok but in need of an update. The mattress was far too soft for my liking. We enjoyed our stay very much. Daugherty's Steakhouse is a great place for a fine meal and the Dunkin Donuts is convenient for an anytime cup of coffee. Staff is wonderful and accommodating. We would stay here again, but in the newer tower closer to the beach.

Been there to the casino a few times.. people are nice, place is clean..stayed overnight, room was neat and clean but old looking. Large room with lots of wasted space. Bed was hard but comfortable.. Happy hour at the oysters bar was also good

We stayed for 2 nights. The first day was cool. Our room was nice and spacious. The water pressure was low and not hot enough. The second day our key’s stopped working twice after getting new keys and the mechanic coming. They offered to switch our room I said yea thinking we was gonna get the same kind of room or better but was I so wrong the room was much smaller. The supervisor said she was gave us $80 off the room but it really was only $30. She lied. The walls are also really hollow we here our neighbors talk all night which resulted in no sleep.

I received 2 comp nights over the weekend during the summer and I was pleasantly pleased with this resort. I think this place gets overlooked because it's one of the older resorts in Atlantic City, but its actually proven to be a very good choice to consider. The room I requested wasn't available, so I was given a suite upgrade for free which was AWESOME on their part. The rooms are slightly outdated but it was clean and to me and I'm sure many people is more important. It does have that 1920s/Great Gatsby vibe which is cool, so if you're into that look then you're set here. There's lots of gaming options and even restaurant choices. Breadsticks is a great place for breakfast. The indoor/outdoor pool is also a plus for me. Overall I was very happy here.

I’m handicapped and yet I had to drag my bags through the hotel, no service for bags unless you use valet. I paid in their parking lot and had to carry everything so far! Besides the several long hallways and steps before getting to the elevator and walking the length of the hotel, I literally had the last room on the opposite side of the check in point. Don’t understand why I couldn’t even get a rolling cart for my bags? . The safety bar I. the bathroom was missing. I had to walk three corridors down just for ice! So much for convenience. The bathroom is tiny and there’s not one spot for a tissue box let alone trying to put on makeup and you can barely close the bathroom door. The shower is so small and definitely only one person! I didn’t like seeing the suction mat for non slip and they didn’t have any handle bar in the tub either. The only thing that was decent was the amount of towels Lol. I couldn’t even find the pool and they don’t have a gym. I was definitely disappointed. No paperwork for remote or ths services either. Not one menu for the numerous places that deliver for room service either. Plus for being clean they don’t supply any hand sanitizer. I really deserved to be refunded ‼️ Regardless of the NON smoking room it was definitely across from the only other room at the end and it was horrible. The pot was definitely pungent but cigarettes were ridiculous. They only attraction would be the casino and plenty of shopping , food & bars to offer. Honestly if this is an upgraded room then I definitely don’t want to see others. I was supposed to have a couch even though I did have two decent chairs. I really wanted to have a great experience and post but I’m honest. Heck I paid plenty for the convenience of charging my phone while changed clothes and there’s literally no space for a makeup bag or anything because the bathroom only has a toilet and sink plus tiny shower/tub. No room or lighting in there. . I Wasn’t the only person at the counter complaining about the room situation either. Maybe if you’re young and just going to party you won’t care. Get the best deal because it’s not cheap.

We enjoyed our stay and the room was nice and big, but.... the bathroom was small with no exhaust fan, the air conditioning didn't work (only heat)(fortunately you could open the windows a few inches), and the electrical outlets were not working well. You had to jiggle any connections and hope they worked. The carpet was obviously old and kinda skeeved me out. We would not stay here again.

There w/ Family for 3 days @ the Atlantis Hotel (My first time:Very Nice). Resorts is one of my favorite casinos to go to. Had a good time, It could be for waitresses to get our drinks faster and more big Winners at the "slots" (My Favorite) 😊. Overall Resorts is cool.

Overall a great experience. The only issue was the first night we were on the 1st guest level next to the elevators. Everytime going up or down the noise would come through the walls. At 2am we went to the front desk hoping someone would be there. The girl was very understanding and put us on a higher floor away from the elevator. Many thanks.

This casino is awful! I came here on an offer of a free suite and free play. I haven't had a loss like that in awhile! I certainly don't expect to win all the time but I do expect when I put in a lot of money to get something out! I play Caveman Keno and a machine should not just keep losing like that with just nothing! I'm in a suite and it's clean so that's good! The room needs serious updates! The bathroom though... Seriously? One bar of soap to share in shower and sink? No hair conditioner in the suites? The one time I don't bring my own because I was trying to pack light! I'm guessing I'm probably not coming back! Gonna try out some other AC casinos today! At least I know it can't be any worse than that! Ain't got no sunshine neither!

My husband has been a card holder for over 20 years. We used to enjoy coming to Resorts before. But unfortunately at this point it’s becoming way to disgusting to even stay here for free. The rooms are filthy. And the service is nothing like before. Won’t be coming again.

Security was called at 12am in regards to a smoke detector. I tried to make sure it was in regards to our room because everybody was sleeping and not dressed for guests. Once, I was assured they must come inside, I put shorts and a t shirt on and let the security guard inside. He came inside, turned one light on, put his back towards the bathroom door and smelled around. He then exited the room and said good night. This morning we were charged $500. Nobody was smoking in the room. Nobody in the room smokes or vapes. This is very confusing and frustrating charge to deal with. We are non smokers and prefer non smoking rooms and non smoking areas. The security guard reported that I took to long and it smelled like I spayed something. Very hurtful accusations without proof that cost us $500 extra on my 34th birthday.

We reserved a room for the AC Airshow for one night. After paying over $300 for an ocean view in the deluxe tower, we were greeted by this lovely view of black and green fuzzy mold on a our ceiling. The view out of our window was a dazzling view of the roof top. I called the front desk and was told to come to pick keys to a new room. The new room was smaller, no view and the floor was went and damp. No one seemed to care. We weren't give any compensation and not one apology. And the pool is open for adults only from 2 -8. My teenage son and I could not enjoy the amenities together. Entire hotel smells like smoke. Never again, I will save my $ to stay at the Ocean next year.

Have a bad taste in my mouth. Mukashi is probably my fave restaurant in here. Girls serving drinks have odd attitudes and the front desk/ guest services aren’t much of a help either. Bell management was great. Fast and brought my luggage up quickly.

Resorts is doing it best to upgrade and remodel their amenities. They just upgraded to pool to be open year round with a retractable roof. There is also certain times no kids allowed which is nice. The games and slots are more up to date. They have plenty of decent food options too. Only down sides...no coffee makers in room 😒 and their casino doesn't really separate the smokers and non smokers well...maybe it's their air handling system? Just don't like smelling smoke in non smoker area.

  • 2/5 Katie L. 7 months ago on Google
Right on the boardwalk, however not worth it. Kids can swim only until 2pm, when I spoke with the front desk instead of saying I'm sorry you weren't aware prior to booking they told me I am free to leave. So we did. Also, the entire building stinks like cigarette smoke even in the hotel room. The room was not clean, dirty finger prints on the doors, toilet bowl had rings from not being scrubbed, rug was old and stained.

It was great. A bus ride with a continental breakfast included, bingo on the bus & 50/50. Plenty to do at Resorts casino until 5:45p. I would do it again. Had a great day. Thanks.

I was there for a conference, mid week in late November... so besides the conference crowd - not much foot traffic as expected. Staff was friendly and helpful, king room spacious (thou even for 30+ old movies on demand they charge $20). Overall easy place - if we check in again for leisure I will update. Also close to boardwalk.

Like the Casino but wish they would renovate their rooms. There are really no nice suites in Ocean tower. I guess the trip would have been nicer if I would have went above what I put in a machine at any time. When you sit near a ticket and change machine and see no one at them or you don’t hear the loud screams of money being won on jackpots, then you know it’s not just you.

  • 5/5 Henrry F. 6 months ago on Google
Resorts in my opinion has one of the best pool areas in Atlantic City after the renovation. The bar area is pretty cool. It is an indoor pool, so it is open all-year long but note that the roof opens up in the summer. The view on the patio is perfect, you got the broad walk if you look down and the beach if you look straight ahead. I was impressed and will be back probably sometime this month.

We visited for 2 days for the NJ Manufactured Housing Association. All the staff were so friendly. The room was beautiful! The view spectacular. The food was awesome. They were able to provide me with gluten free options. I was amazed how good the coffee was! The conference room was spectacular with windows on both sides. The banquet room was magnificently decorated. The boardwalk was fun to walk. What a great place!

One of my favorite places in Atlantic City can't beat it! Right on the beach with a beautiful view of the Ocean nice restaurants and a new salt water pool healthy for your skin! Plus you're right on the boardwalk the amusement park is right across from the hotel! And the Hard Rock is right next door and the Ocean hotel is a short walk on the boardwalk! What else do you need! Love the hotel ❤️

To know that you kept Edward Johnson as an employee After his accident after taking a life of a child And wrote letters for his employment to the judge today me and my husband and whole family will be cutting our cards up and never returning to your establishment Just to know that you can stand behind someone that things it’s ok to drink and drink and take a life and a life of an 8 year old boy at that and Destroy a family that I follow every day and watch the pain of what he did to them this casino will never get money from me again anyone who can say take any life if ok should be sitting in jail rite with him Because you’re a monster inside to with no heart because no one should Ever heather life taken from them like that, and no father or mother should have to go through what they are going through and no father should have to watch rescue. Try to get their son out of a car that is smashed up like that. It makes me sick to my stomach that this establishment can sit and write a letter to a judge for someone saying that he’s a good person.

Was in the high roller room spent money left with a voucher with money on it went to a machine right outside the high roller room put my voucher in pressed my desired amount to spin and nothing happened. I called security they came checked the games and said there was no activity and that there was nothing played I said checkkkkkk the cameras they didn’t. I asked The lady who was in charge she said she looked at the machine and did absolutely nothing. I had money on my voucher and Nothing was done. I would Never everrrrrr recommend this casino to no one. Whether it’s any amount of money on your voucher you deserve to get the amount said on the machine point blank. Also might I add the lady who was in charge could care lessssssssss. Resorts you’re horrible, never spending another penny here there’s a reason you give out rooms for nothing. I believe in karma ✌🏼

The location of the hotel was perfect, central on the boardwalk. Some rooms are renovated, however the hotel is dated. The staff were all very friendly and housekeeping was very visible and efficient. The lunch at Quick Bites was fresh, tasty and reasonably priced. The renovated pool area on second floor is very nice with chairs overlooking the boardwalk.

Husband and I had a great time. Spent two days. Our host Vivian was amazing. We haven't had dinner like this in a while. Hit a few big hits then hit the blackjack. All in all was a great weekend getaway. However the pool was closed due to renovations so that part was saddening. As the wife of a gambler you spend most of your time alone so I would have liked to do something for myself maybe next time. I will say as a new member though the incentives aren't great most places give you some play money this gave free parking tier points etc. You have to earn the play money even at that it's small and since he does the majority well it wasn't great for me. Rooms were nice although had to move due to sewer smell they were very accommodating also as goes for many casinos everyone has a drug it drink ot choice I will say the amount of people who smoke weed was unreal and the casino smelled of it the whole time every hotel floor to each there own but how does know one do anything no way you can't smell that. Anyway all In all great getaway can't wait to go back and use the pool and maybe the salon.

5 stars. Gym was terrible. We stayed at hard Rock before and think that's a lot better overall with the gym and restaurants but the resorts room was bigger, bathroom was bigger. we stayed in rendezvous tower and it was nice but did not have a coffee maker like the hard Rock. Overall we will go back to hard rock due to the gym being a tiny room with barely any equipment. Couldn't believe it when we walked in. Also the big jacuzzi is never working from what we heard and the indoor pool was always full of little kids with the hours being only 9 to 6 most of the days. But still 5 stars for nice people and staff and good location.

Thoroughly disappointed! Booked New Year’s six months ago an requested ocean view and paid for mini-suite. Arrived just after 4:30pm for check in and was told the best they had was a parking lot view! Why did I pick a place on the boardwalk to look out at a parking lot?! 2 hours later given a “partial view room” not a suite. Valet parking at resort is open, except for New Year’s weekend. Like table games in the casino? Less than half the tables open, and those were all packed; no room to sit at any table. Why did we fly here? The beach; go to Charleston or Florida. The gambling; go to Vegas or Reno. NEVER go to Resorts in Atlantic City. You have been warned.

After leaving Bally's I walked the boardwalk to the resorts while waiting for my bus I played some games at the casino and I also brought me some breakfast the breakfast was very good. I won a few bucks at the resort casino. I'm pleased with the security you feel safe. Can't wait to go back here soon 😎

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. I visit there twice a year. It's always a phenomenal time for me. I've never won at the slots but the boardwalk had always been my favorite fir shopping. See you guys again in September!

Good atmosphere. Great service. Wasn't impressed with my ribs. They were average but a bit pricey for just average. The other people at my table got much better meals for the price. My fault for ordering against the tone of the menu. I'd go back. Just know to go for the more traditional bar fare

This once was a beautiful hotel with detailed tile work, expansive rooms complete with roomy bathrooms, daily room service, and free water. All of this elegance is showing signs of wear, which is perhaps expected for the price. What was not expected, however, was the pervasive cigarette smoke smell throughout the hotel, especially on the main casino floor. Thankfully, our actual rooms didn't seem to smell too bad, but everywhere else reeked. The final unexpected "bonus" was the $25/night "resort fee" which took the cost of our stay up to nearly the same price as several other nearby hotels.

King non smoking room was clean and welcoming.. very efficient staff. Went to see a Rush tribute called YYNOT in the theater in the hotel. They were incredibly good! We sat in section S and had Maggie as our usher. She was so much fun. 2 bars in the theater with a good selection of beverages and easy access to clean big bathrooms. Would definitely do this trip again!

we get to our room and the room is not like the websites picture bathroom has a sink no space to even put a toothbrush or a soap on, then the refrigerator is broken they come and change it out bring in a new one, bummer it does not work ether, class front desk and the change the room in the Rendezvous Tower they said it was a better room (oh it looks like the online room) let see the sink is clogged and the shower handle is loose or broken. The service was bad from the front desk they were annoyed that I called them a few times. oh yeah the room were not that clean. lets see what happens at check out.the reward points are bad. Hard Rock is next door much better and there rewards are a hole lot better and the hotel is 100% better.

Great place to spend a trip in AC! Rooms were very clean beds comfortable and all of the staff very accommodating. Restaurants too! Great casino floor. Only Issue was the lack of water pressure in rooms but seriously was a great trip and will be back!

Cleanliness I give them a 7/10. Parking was a little tight but acceptable 7/10. Convenience (close to the beach, restaurants and other casinos) 9/10. Staff were nice 9/10. Promotions 7/10. Tower out dated but I didnt stay at the Ocean tower which might be more updated with a new swimming pool. Overall not a bad experience.

Very friendly staff at this hotel! The rooms are comfortable, clean and attractive. An ocean view room is ideal. My only complaint is that smoking is allowed in the casino and the odor does drift through the common areas. But my room was completely smoke free.

  • 5/5 Aaron P. 2 years ago on Google
wait to check out the pool on my next visit. Had my first overnight here at Ocean the beginning of January and I was overall very impressed. The property is massive! It definitely looks different from all of the other resorts. I always read how people complain about how the casino is so far from the entrance and that the lobby is on the 13th floor, but to he honest, that is what I love about this place. It's far from all the noise of the boardwalk and the casino. The check in was very easy, the room was comped after only playing there once(I'll get into more detail). The room was super clean and I love the decor, very modern and welcoming. This resort is definitely my new go to considering they do offer a lot. Being a Caesar's member for many years, this place is offering so much more than the older places are. I can't wait to check out the pool on my next visit.

Hotel was extremely comfortable. Big room. All the right amenities. No kitchen but a mini fridge and if you were there for the beach not the casino or $$$ restaurants you could definitely plug in your crock pot etc and make do in the room. Lots of space.

The rooms in the Rendezvous Tower are meticulous and extremely spacious. Moreover, the Casino has a variety of machines, and the payouts are great! The Casino is very comfortable in that it is smaller than most. Therefore, moving around is very easy. In addition, the food is varied and delicious at just about all of their establishments. I would highly recommend the Casino, hotel, and the food! It is a pleasure to play and stay at this resort. It is a must visit for all Casino aficionados!

Let me just start off by saying .I like coming down to the shore. The hotel is right on the beach..which is amazing. But the problem is. Their rooms...which are extremely outdated.. smelled like a cigarette factory..and I requested a smoking room. But there is not a proper filtration system for clean air. I paid for a king size bed. Weeks. Ago...just to arrive to a queen size bed. And the sofa. Was full of cigarette burns. We need to do better. Resorts hotel

Old-school casino with some $5 tables. A good selection of slots. Some great restaurants as well. Very good location. Nice indoor pool. Unfortunately I haven't won in this casino in probably 8 visits.
