We went every Saturday and Sunday. My mother would pack a cooler and my father would drive one hour from Germantown, Philadelphia. We would swim and eat and walk the boardwalk. In the evening as children, we would rinse off the at the shower on the boardwalk. Then we would change behind towels that our parents held up, and then go on the rides at the Steel pier. It was so much fun and we loved seeing family and friends year after year. My mother was a sixteen year old beauty when Mosley took her picture !

One of the bigger beaches in Atlantic City in the background is the Rainforest Cafe and the formerly Trump Tower which is ironic because this used to be a segregated Beach we're only blacks would go back in the days anyway everything's all good now you can walk underneath a pier that house has a mole and the waves come in you can also fish under there very close to the Atlantic City Convention Center which is in the backdrop

Great beach friendly people. Away from the busy beaches. Our new little hideaway beach.

The beach looks great but I don't understand why it has to be labeled as formerly segregated. Why are people not allowing society to work past racism and insist on throwing it in people's faces. The beach has not changed, people have. Let us continue to change and evolve without waving the past in our faces. Google is helping to foster and maintain racism in America.

Loved it- nice wide open part of the beach, clean, real laid back vibe compared to other shore beaches. When I saw the grills out I knew I found my people :) if your looking for the marker it’s just past rain forest cafe. Was blocked by guys that walk carts down boardwalk

I had a great time @ the beach today except for smelling urine @ the entrance. Other than that we had a great day!
