DO NOT GO TO THIS NIGHTCLUB! We were denied entry to this nightclub without any reason at all. We went up to talk to security to ask if there’s anyway we can go in. Security told my friend that we were only allowed in if she would give him sexual favors. We clearly didn’t and left. It makes me wonder what is really going on in this club. My friend called to talk to management and they were extremely rude on the phone and told us we weren’t allowed in because we were wearing flip flops. This wasn’t true at all. We were so disgusted that night. We came in a party bus and told our bus driver who will be telling other drivers about what is happening in this club. We told multiple bars about what happened too. Please avoid this club!!!!

Imagine discrimination and miscommunication in one. We arrived and my friend had a hat on, they told us about their dress code and he went to keep his hat in our hotel room (mind you, we are guests in this hotel) then he returns and they tell him that he can’t go in with his sweatpants. Tell me why I see multiple people with hats on get immediate access. It’s funny because this discrimination was too real. It was supposed to be my college graduation celebration but thanks to the tall guy in the grey suit, it’s ruined. Well done. If you have money to spend, they’ll take care of you but if not, expect to be embarrassed. Never returning.

Went here for my birthday last weekend and it actually ruined my weekend. I live in Miami so I have a ton of experience going to clubs. This place is a scam with absolute dirtbags working there. We bought a ticket right there at the door, and then after they scanned it, refused all of us entry for not wearing heels. They couldn't have told us that BEFORE selling us tickets??? Literal scumbags just looking to make a buck! Like I said, I'm from miami, a dress code is nothing new to me. We’d also been to the beach club there during the day and it seemed like a normal chill atmosphere. I was wearing heels to dinner and then changed into nicer DESIGNER shoes to go here for the night. Shoes that I've gone to Story in. But for a tiny "club" at the trashy jersey shore to require heels? Are they out of their minds? All the staff was on a power trip and I do believe part of it was rooted in discrimination because we were all speaking Spanish as we arrived. They were just so incredibly rude I spent my birthday night CRYING and out hundreds of dollars on the tickets they refused to refund. Karma is coming their way for running a business like this is all I can say and I truly hope nobody else is ever treated the way that we were. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Want to go out to a place that will show you what it’s like to be in the WWE? The bouncers here are great at that 💗 This was my first time going and I left within 20 minutes. I’ve been to many clubs in different places and in different countries and been invited to many events like these with very big brands and never once had an experience as bad as this. After paying $40 to get in, the club was like sardines in a tuna can. If you extend one arm you are invading someone’s table and get a little “hey girl you have to leave” comment. To explain the incident that occurred that no one seems to help us with when we call, is when two girls in the group we attended with invited us to sit with them in a small table spot by the DJ. Me and my friend (who was celebrating her 21st bday as well) made our way to them. They waved to come into the space and as I walked through I was tackled like a quarterback and thrown to another bouncer in all black out of the section. My arm was throbbing and later bruised and I lost my friend completely. All I could see was the second bouncer giving me a stank eye look as if I were a criminal. I’m a very understanding person, and if they asked me to go I would respect it completely and say sorry for the miscommunication. However, that wasn’t what the ego boasted bouncers had in mind. They thought they were the Undertaker, no words just physical force and ego. We all left immediately, I was in shock from the experience I had and spoke to one of the doorman who witnessed how upset this event made me and tried to welcome me back in. Never again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Very disappointing. Paid for tickets for the hq2 nightclub in advance, while waiting in line for about 20 mins a worker told us we weren’t allowed in because of our shoes (wearing platform sandals without a back). Meanwhile women in HEELS, also, without a back were okay. I feel like since it was crowded they started cutting people. It was before midnight. It’s a shame because one of the people in our party is a preferred member. Made us spend $0 at this establishment when we were planning on spending the whole night there.

Part of Ocean Casino but can't get there from here. Reservation required with hefty entrance fees as security captures your personal information, only to have access to small pool area. DJ when I visited should not quit his day job. Bad food and worse service. Only open on weekends Good idea, but poor execution.

So my friend ordered our tickets which came to over $200. The club closes at 4 and we were trying to get in at 2. They didn’t let 2 of my friends in because they had presentable khaki shorts on which makes no sense, who wants to wear pants in a nightclub in summer. Meanwhile girls are wearing extremely high skirts but that’s okay? The bald head worker in the front was extremely unprofessional and rude and kept answering with a rude remark every time we asked a question. And Hq refuses to refund. Terrible club, terrible workers.

I hung out with my nephew and his friends (for his 'birthday' that has lasted 3 weeks already) last night and this place was INSANELY COOL. We got a VIP table above the dance floor and it was worth it. I've never seen a light show like this before. The way that everything just coordinated was mind blowing. DJ was incredible. Service was top notch. Staff dressed to really impress and waitresses were dressed to impress...the men ☺ All were friendly and professional. We just had a really great time. I definitely recommend going for the table.

Great club. They should have more staff during events that can cover the demands of the people. Food menu should be bigger too. There is little options for food. Drinks are awesome and price is good as well. The line in the bathroom can get pretty long as well. They offer lockers if you want to keep your stuff dry and safe.

I had a great time here but wouldn't return. Pros: Great space / effects Great music once the main DJ comes on Cons: They charge $8 for water and won't pour you a glass of tap water. This is the singular reason I won't return. Security guards on the inside aren't friendly as well.

Any nightclub near the beach that enforces a “dress code” that doesn’t allow shorts does not deserve five stars. Especially for their price of entry. Great atmosphere and fun music despite these “exclusive premiums” cheers

Great party vibe most days, DJs are usually great, and the Bar is great. Will definitely Recommend for a night out. My only complaints are: to get into the club you have to walk up about five flights of stairs, and when in the club there is absolutely nowhere to sit and rest your feet if needed, unless you have a VIP Section. Definitely not ideal for those wearing high heels. Other than those two inconveniences, it’s a fun time. However, I absolutely Do Not Recommend going for Holidays. My friends and I were just there for Halloween Weekend. We bought our Tickets months in advance. We have never seen this club so dangerously crowded. Even one of the Security Guards told us, while we were in line to enter, that it was way past capacity and the Fire Marshal was already threatening to shut it down. This is also an ongoing issue on some regular day basis, as my friends and I have experienced overcrowding multiple times before, where there is barely any room to move or dance. They need to have better Management in control of the amount of people they are allowing in.

Great place to party! Insane lineup! Jose one of the VIP hosts knows the true definition of hospitality. He ensures his guests a good time for both beachclub and nightclub. He definitely brought the excitement!!

Always a good time even without bottle service as there is a good amount of room to stand by the bar with a view of the dance floor and DJ… Dayclub is a blast as well. As for bottle service Jose Santos is the man and has been a great help every time we’ve reached out, always quick to respond and down to earth. Not to mention HQs lineup is unmatched!

Honestly, if there was a way where I can give a negative five stars, I would. This organization should thank its lucky stars that Google doesn't allow negative reviews. Also, I know that they're not going to respond to this review (given that the same exact review has been made numerous times) and they haven't responded to any negative review in a year at least. We bought tickets in advance to one of their shows, and showed up, waited in line (all normal). As we're about to get closer, this bouncer/manager "Chris" (more a feckless thug than a person based on his behavior), comes up to us and says coats aren't allowed (for the record, this is not in their dress code online or outside). That was fine, except we weren't wearing coats; my wife and I were both wearing blazers. He made my wife take off her blazer and go to coat check (even though, again, it's not mentioned in their dress code AND IT WASN'T A COAT), and my wife did not want to take off her blazer because she was cold. After going back and forth (with "Chris" lacking basic people skills), we didn't want to ruin our group's night out (which turned out to be awful anyway because the vibe was bad) and she ended up checking in her coat. I would strongly recommend no one giving them their hard earned money. This place employs idiots whose sole job is to get women in the club with minimal clothes on. This place doesn't deserve to be in business.

I wish I can give zero stars. As a manager we accommodate the customers needs. I had a broken foot and I could only wear certain shoes as being disabled and they treated me like I was garbage. I have never felt so low. That I was nothing. I would have never treated a customer or a guest with such disrespect. They clearly discriminate, so beware. I was unable to spend money. If you're losing sales, check outside, Im sure they are the reason. Too bad 👎and Martin, the manager, should be fired for allowing his worker to call my friend fat. I have it on video. Hope you still think it's funny when I report you and upload the video so everyone can see and hear what terrible people you are.

Non refundable deposits of 20% due 7 weeks before event. Yikes - this place must be hurting for quick cash. I’ve seen one busy day here all summer (Aoki). Guess people are finally catching on... new management better get their acts together quickly.

I bought a ticket to a show and they wouldn’t allow me entry. Don’t see anything at this venue. They oversold their capacity and refused to allow me entry or a refund. Don’t purchase any tickets from these people who oversell their venues just to make a buck. Terrible customer service. Don’t say here!

Hq2 is the best club in AC. Amazing talent, professional staff, and great overall experience. Been coming here since they reopened in 2018 and Jose Santos has always taken good care of us. Definitely reach out to him if you’re looking for an exclusive VIP experience at either the Beach Club or Nightclub!

We enjoyed the HQ2 Beach club during the day, during the week. (can't speak for it's huge events, etc.) We had the best time. The service was awesome and we enjoyed drinking and listening to the DJs. Highly recommend for a great daytime experience FREE FROM KIDS at the Ocean resort. Ask for Sienna - she's the best server.

Hi, my name is Bryan and I frequent many nightclubs in the area. I have to say that the service and hospitality I received from the two VIP Host's Jose & Chris is what every host team should strive to be. These two men go out of their way to make sure I am 100% satisfied every time I come. If there is an issue or discrepancy, they are there to remedy the situation. If you plan on visiting HQ2. Be sure to ask for either of them.

I’ve visited HQ nightclub and beach club many times over the last 2 years and with each visit I am greeted with the utmost hospitality by VIP host Jose Santos. Jose is always prepared to happily provide information and address questions. You can tell Jose loves his job and cares about providing an unforgettable experience for clientele. He has a talent for making your concerns his priority, regardless of how many people he is responsible for, in that moment, you are his #1. Staff upholds a standard of professionalism and even security goes above and beyond to protect and care for guests at these clubs. I would highly recommend inquiring with Jose for all of your needs whether that be bottle service, ticket information, and just any general information about the clubs. He is an amazing genuine person and a hard working host.

Pro: The lights were nice I suppose Cons: First, we had to wait in a line for half an hour. It's not organized at all. The crowd is obnoxious. If you're coming here for a rave crowd, it's not. It's full of fake id kids and the vibes are not great. VIP bottle service takes over the whole dance floor. Lots of pushing. Lots of aggression. We felt VERY UNSAFE there. We saw our favorite DJ and they were just... different. The speaker wasn't loud enough. The songs are usually house / deep house and the DJ changed it up to be more attuned to highschoolers. Also, we didn't even attempt to buy a drink from the 2 bars serving idk 500 peiple. TLDR; we won't be returning for any DJ here because of the crowd.

Wonderful time! Went for a friend’s bachelorette. Atmosphere is very fun and music was great. Our server Liv and her assistant were very attentive and made sure we had a blast. We did a deck table with 9 people which was perfect as far as space and worth the money given we were there for a lot of hours. Chris our contact was responsive and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend for any party!

We had an absolute blast at HQ2 last night for my friend’s Bachelorette Party! The service was impeccable— from Chris helping us secure a table (and answering my many questions quickly), get checked in, and upgrading our table (best one in the house- right next to the DJ booth), to the super sweet hostess/host, JoJo and Jayden, to the security guy by our section, Gary. The bachelorette sign presentation was the highlight of the bride’s weekend! The club was clean and beautiful, even the bathrooms! Everything was perfect! we will definitely be returning!

Conner and Irena were amazing. I did my bachelor party here and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I had 11 of my best friends and both Conner and Irena hooked us up. Conner worked with me for about 5 weeks to get the details set. He was responsive the whole time and kept me in the loop on every detail. I've been to a lot of clubs before but Conner was the best promoter i've ever worked with. He even helped us get into the night club afterwards. 10/10 would work with him again Irena was a class act and was very helpful during our stay at the Cabana. She made our experience feel special . I had a great time here and man I wish I could do it all over again. It was so much fun and these two were the main reasons why

HQ2 was a fantastic experience last weekend for a friend’s bachelor party. Conner was an amazing host, very communicative and helpful while we were trying to figure out what to book, and super friendly and fun to hang out with during the day party. Conner was also super accommodating for us at night, helping us with last minute reservations. Highly recommend! Irena was also an awesome hostess and was very attentive and a blast to hang out with!

I’ve been coming to HQ for years and have always had the greatest experiences. Specifically, because Jose Santos has gone above and beyond to make it that way. He’s always polite and professional and I love working with him.

Hq is hands down the best nightclub in the AC area! Jose Santos is the VIP host in charge of setting you up with bottle service and overall a smooth, fun experience! He is simply the best and just a complete delight to work with. He’s super helpful and does everything he can to give you to the best for your buck. A true breath of fresh air when booking with him you will not be disappointed!

This review is regarding the HQ Beach Club (not night club, see below), specifically Tiesto’s event: Tickets and Getting in: Received an email from the ticket vendor 6 days prior to the event stating the doors would open at 10:30. We arrived and were informed the doors would open at 11:00. We waited and the doors did open promptly at 11. Getting through security was quick and easy as we were one of the first few people on line. (Getting drinks at the bar was also quick because we were very early-only one main bar for the whole venue) The price of the tickets for this venue is very fair considering the caliber of the entertainers they book. Lockers: There were lockers for rent at the venue but it looked like most were out of service. You had to use a website and QR code to unlock the lockers. They were $35 for the day and included a phone charger (at Steve Aoki’s 4th of July event they were only $20). Pool: It looked like a lot of preparation was put into every aspect of the event besides the actual pool. There was a lot of debris in the pool (before the event actually began, not just from a lot of people being in the pool) it looked as though someone forgot to take a skimmer to the pool before the event started. Music: the volume of the music fluctuated a lot throughout the 6 hours we were there. When we first arrived it was very loud, but at times we could barely hear it throughout the day. When tiesto came on (he played for two hours, as we expected) we were fairly close to the speakers and the stage but could barely hear it (this could be due to the rain but it would’ve been much better if it were louder) Overall the event was very fun and we were looking forward to seeing Tiesto. Anyone coming to an event here should arrive early to avoid long waits at security. The only aspects that could’ve used some improvement was the cleanliness of the pool and adjusting the volume of the music. We will continue to come back as HQ does book great talent in the industry and there is no other experience like this anywhere in Atlantic City. HQ Nightclub Review: We had purchased tickets for Gattuso on July 3rd. The ticket stated the event started at 10. We arrived to the club around 11:20 and found an extremely long line wrapping around the upper level of the Ocean Casino and there were people everywhere (the club is also located on the upper level). We decided to stick it out and wait in line. We waited in line for over an hour and did not move at all. No one had any reason for the cause of delay, it was speculated that the doors did not actually open yet (which would be unacceptable for the doors to not open an hour and a half after the event was supposed to start). If the line did move and we were somehow able to make it in, it most likely would’ve been right when the event was ending. We did not end up making it inside to the event. This was very disappointing, because I was really looking forward to experiencing a nightclub again post-COVID, and we had purchased tickets ahead of time. This experience seemed like unorganized chaos. We ended up going to Pool After Dark at Harrahs where we were able to walk in right away without a wait or any issues (we did not buy tickets ahead of time either). Overall, I would return to the BeachClub but most likely not the nightclub again, unless there was a big name performing. It seems like (at least in the summer) all of the big name DJs perform at the pool and not inside at the nightclub anyways.

It was my 21st birthday, first time in the club, was in there for 5 minutes & security kicked me out for hitting a vape. There wasn’t any no smoking signs & nobody said anything, no warnings or reason either. Overall security had a target on my back for no reason besides there own insecurities. Harassed & terrible service.

DMV is extremely slow during these times, just renewed my license waiting on the dmv to send to my address. Provided 3 legal documents proving my identity the poor girl in the front would not let me in. Did not bring a manager out to try and help the situation just shooed me away. Would never recommend any of my friends to go there. Horrible work ethic.

Justice (ticket line) pockets entrants cash and “holds” personal belongings but leaves and steals / sells them Christina (door staff?) Is unwilling to help with any issues outside of her “role” and antagonistic to patrons Kenny Johnson (head of security) backs away from situational responsibility and defers authority. lackluster at best when responding to issues. Christoph (checkout / bouncer) was drunk and / or exceptionally unqualified to handle entry and exit of a club…which is not complicated.

Went to the beach club to see Tiesto and we got a table with bottle service... Everything was amazing from our VIP host Christian, our sever Sierra and the security guard for our section on the upper deck.. I didn’t get her name but she was great, they all made the experience even better! Worth the money 100%

It’s an ugly club. Unorganized to get inside. A lot of kids. Ocean needs to step it up with their club venue being a highly rated and sophisticated resort.

Do not waste your time or money at HQ Beachclub. I have been to similar establishments in Vegas and around the world and there is no comparison. I experienced several safety/security concerns. In addition, the number of bartenders working compared to the ratio of customers waiting for drinks is terrible. I ordered two rounds of drinks and knew immediately there was an issue with my second bill. Earlier in the day, I purchased a very similar round of drinks that were $100 cheaper. The second round of drinks took over 20 minutes to order (so did the first round) and I could not get an itemized receipt. After calling the establishment to confirm drink prices, I learned that I was overcharged by $104. After filing a dispute with my credit card (HQ Beachclub said there were no problem), I could finally see the itemized receipts and was beyond angry. I was charged for 11 drinks when I only ordered 4. HQ Beachclub maliciously overcharges patrons and gets away with it. I am truly upset and have never had a bill inflated like this in my life. Stay away to avoid being fraudulently charged. Sorry, I have never written a review before not sure how to reply. When I called, I spoke with Christian to confirm the prices of drinks. I gave this information to my credit card company who then filed the dispute twice.
