This
review
is
regarding
the
HQ
Beach
Club
(not
night
club,
see
below),
specifically
Tiesto’s
event:
Tickets
and
Getting
in:
Received
an
email
from
the
ticket
vendor
6
days
prior
to
the
event
stating
the
doors
would
open
at
10:30.
We
arrived
and
were
informed
the
doors
would
open
at
11:00.
We
waited
and
the
doors
did
open
promptly
at
11.
Getting
through
security
was
quick
and
easy
as
we
were
one
of
the
first
few
people
on
line.
(Getting
drinks
at
the
bar
was
also
quick
because
we
were
very
early-only
one
main
bar
for
the
whole
venue)
The
price
of
the
tickets
for
this
venue
is
very
fair
considering
the
caliber
of
the
entertainers
they
book.
Lockers:
There
were
lockers
for
rent
at
the
venue
but
it
looked
like
most
were
out
of
service.
You
had
to
use
a
website
and
QR
code
to
unlock
the
lockers.
They
were
$35
for
the
day
and
included
a
phone
charger
(at
Steve
Aoki’s
4th
of
July
event
they
were
only
$20).
Pool:
It
looked
like
a
lot
of
preparation
was
put
into
every
aspect
of
the
event
besides
the
actual
pool.
There
was
a
lot
of
debris
in
the
pool
(before
the
event
actually
began,
not
just
from
a
lot
of
people
being
in
the
pool)
it
looked
as
though
someone
forgot
to
take
a
skimmer
to
the
pool
before
the
event
started.
Music:
the
volume
of
the
music
fluctuated
a
lot
throughout
the
6
hours
we
were
there.
When
we
first
arrived
it
was
very
loud,
but
at
times
we
could
barely
hear
it
throughout
the
day.
When
tiesto
came
on
(he
played
for
two
hours,
as
we
expected)
we
were
fairly
close
to
the
speakers
and
the
stage
but
could
barely
hear
it
(this
could
be
due
to
the
rain
but
it
would’ve
been
much
better
if
it
were
louder)
Overall
the
event
was
very
fun
and
we
were
looking
forward
to
seeing
Tiesto.
Anyone
coming
to
an
event
here
should
arrive
early
to
avoid
long
waits
at
security.
The
only
aspects
that
could’ve
used
some
improvement
was
the
cleanliness
of
the
pool
and
adjusting
the
volume
of
the
music.
We
will
continue
to
come
back
as
HQ
does
book
great
talent
in
the
industry
and
there
is
no
other
experience
like
this
anywhere
in
Atlantic
City.
HQ
Nightclub
Review:
We
had
purchased
tickets
for
Gattuso
on
July
3rd.
The
ticket
stated
the
event
started
at
10.
We
arrived
to
the
club
around
11:20
and
found
an
extremely
long
line
wrapping
around
the
upper
level
of
the
Ocean
Casino
and
there
were
people
everywhere
(the
club
is
also
located
on
the
upper
level).
We
decided
to
stick
it
out
and
wait
in
line.
We
waited
in
line
for
over
an
hour
and
did
not
move
at
all.
No
one
had
any
reason
for
the
cause
of
delay,
it
was
speculated
that
the
doors
did
not
actually
open
yet
(which
would
be
unacceptable
for
the
doors
to
not
open
an
hour
and
a
half
after
the
event
was
supposed
to
start).
If
the
line
did
move
and
we
were
somehow
able
to
make
it
in,
it
most
likely
would’ve
been
right
when
the
event
was
ending.
We
did
not
end
up
making
it
inside
to
the
event.
This
was
very
disappointing,
because
I
was
really
looking
forward
to
experiencing
a
nightclub
again
post-COVID,
and
we
had
purchased
tickets
ahead
of
time.
This
experience
seemed
like
unorganized
chaos.
We
ended
up
going
to
Pool
After
Dark
at
Harrahs
where
we
were
able
to
walk
in
right
away
without
a
wait
or
any
issues
(we
did
not
buy
tickets
ahead
of
time
either).
Overall,
I
would
return
to
the
BeachClub
but
most
likely
not
the
nightclub
again,
unless
there
was
a
big
name
performing.
It
seems
like
(at
least
in
the
summer)
all
of
the
big
name
DJs
perform
at
the
pool
and
not
inside
at
the
nightclub
anyways.
