The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, pillows were dirty. Toilet was horrible. The ambience of the room was very bad.The room didn't even had a landline phone . The service is not that amazing.The staff in the lounge was rude Very poor and worst experience ever

Stayed in Mayura Residency. The room was below average and not clean at all. The bathrooms were the worst. Not clean at all. Superbly over-priced. .

I had been to Guruvayoor temple on 7th and 8th june 2022 with my family. The charges was about 2.5k for non-AC room and 3.3k for AC room. I had booked a non AC room. They asked us to pay the amount during the check-in time itself. The initial services was just ok. Nothing so great about it. The wifi service was not available. I believe they only provide wifi service during on-season time. The worst experience which we had was the power-cut. After the temple visit we came back to the room around 10pm and later went to sleep at around 11:30pm. There was a power-cut at around 12:30 am and the power came back after 5am. There was NO GENERATOR facilities. We called the reception several times and the response was the regenerator is not working. We never experienced such a situation in a hotel before. We couldn't even sleep for 30 minutes. While checking out they did not even say sorry. The receptionist response was as if its your fate and just deal with it. We were just happy about not booking the AC room and saved that amount.

One of the worst experience in life and stay.. it's not only spoiled my holiday but also left disappointment to my kids holiday experience. From outside hotel is big and looks great but inside its worst than a lodge AC's not working, bedrooms are stinking, pillow gives foil smell, bathroom are too small, untidy and unhygienic as flush throws muddy water, presence of cockroch which add more igony to the situation. Hotel staff are not professional and compare the hotel service with consumer durable service. Don't understand the guest feeling and ZERO on hospitality ethics. Taken two deluxe AC room for two days and given 100% payments as advance. When made my mind to checkout next day before check out time they were not ready to refund 50% of the payment. They says as per our terms and conditions there is no refund as they have already made the cash invoice and paid GST which does not make any sense and moreover no where its written or said during the booking. Been a,frequent traveler I had stayed in various hotel across the stretch of India never ever heard or faced such unprofessional attitude and service. Though it's a three star hotel which is not been maintained properly my sincere advise to other travelers not to go with hotel pics posted on website and rating. It doesn't offer or worth for that exorbitant price which they are charging. I had a bitter experience so I don't want others to face the same. You can also get the feeler from all the recent honest review comimg from people who had similar experience for that there is no revert from hotel side.

One of the best stays in Guruvayoor. Had a wonderful time with family. All staffs were excellent and professional with customer service starting from security in charge to receptionist. Distance to temple is also minimal (around 350m). Sufficient parking space

The rooms are clean and fairly spacious. The bathroom was cleanly maintained too. Hot water was not available when we came. The location is perfect for a temple visit as it is very close by. Complimentary breakfast was not provided.

Totally vintage, from 80s. AC not working, no automatic locks on the door. Shower not working either.

The lobby decor is too notch. Rooms are spacious but you can tell that it is dated. Good hot water during the mornings. There is no restaurant here though but they will happily buy and deliver coffee and food from nearby hotel. Walkable to temple. Has very good and ample parking and the staff are very courteous and helpful.

An bit old hotel but maintained decently well. Very near to temple, walkable distance. Reception and lobby area is grand. Nostalgic lifts. Parking available inside the compound, but gets a bit cramped, can park maybe 15 cars, u have to give key in reception coz they can move it when necessary, not a huge deal. Rooms are fine and decent quality, space available for extra mattress. Ac was good. Hot water in the bathroom working good. No restaurant is a bummer even though they have a proper restaurant in the ground floor near the lift, it’s not functioning. A couple of good restaurants are available at walkable distance. Tea coffee however is available via room service. Room service is fine, no issue. Good kind helpful staff behaviour. Overall decently satisfied.

Excellent hotel in guruvayur, very near to the temple. Has excellent amenities, rooms are very nice. Excellent service by staff, ample car parking. 2 big banquet halls available for meetings, functions etc.

Service is very poor, No restaurant attached, Airconditioning not working properly, cleanlines is not up to the mark and also it is bit costly compare to the service they provide.

There was cockroach piece in the room and very unclean. No inroom dining, no TV. Paid high price for these . Better stay away from this. I’m sure you will get better options nearby

- very old , no value for money . Goibibo charged rs 3681 for ac deluxe room whereas actual cost of the room was rs 2800 ( so don’t book through Goibibo) . - rooms old and bed not clean - no hot water for bathing ( we booked 2 rooms , both didn’t have hot water for bathing , but they say that hot water is provided ) - non ac room doesn’t provide any toiletries but they charge rs 2221 for non deluxe rooms . Ac deluxe rooms Just provide soap as part of toiletries . - strong toilet smell near the lift area and lift is very old and dead slow . - overall no value for the money

Absolute fraudsters. Liers. After booking 3k room in advance when we reached they refused occupancy. We travelled about 200 kms in vain because of their unskilled and inexperienced staff and their miscommunication. Our family suffered the whole night. .they were so pathetic that at the end they threw the money on our face telling name of the owner who is in Muscat. We were in absolute shock., Never had such pathetic inhuman experience. Wish nobody go through any ssuch experience.

I am a 55 year old lady came to visit guruvayoor Temple from Allappuzha after having confirmed booking in this hotel. Reaching there they refused to accommodate me saying some lame reason. The treated me impolitely and in the middle of the night i had to search for other hotels. Very cheap and pathetic behavior of the staffs. Try to avoid this hotel aat any cost.

The outlook is really pleasing but the place it totally out of repair. Or maybe the room i got.. the toilets were leaking, hotwater was not available and extra bed that we got was covered in dust which we had to pay for and did not use. In a far lesser rates u can get better ac accommodation in guruvayoor.

Worst experience. If you value your money don't go to this place. The management is pathetic, I don't know why they were hired. I went there with my mother and there was no water in the toilets and when I told the manager we was patronizing me saying that I am lying/assuming. All would have been ok if they refunded my money. They stole it shamelessly. They will sweet talk you into excusing them. Worst experience, no professionalism. Huge creepy old hotel, dusty molded rooms, no water and with pathetic staff.

I had a good stay in Mayura Residency. I stayed just one night with my Family for my son's Annaprashan. I did the booking through Goibibo online and there was some differences in numbers. But the Manager & staff was so kind, they understood the trouble and shifted us to a bigger room. There are many hidden charges when you book through online. Please be aware of that.
