This place is disgusting and was incredibly insensitive to my friend who has to have gluten free options. When she asked, the staff was rude by laughing at her and they LIED to her when they told her the California rolls had no gluten (when the imitation crab has gluten in it, we didn’t know until after she ordered) This place better be careful because the next time they lie to customers with food allergies, they’ll regret it when they get shut down for killing someone. Why anyone bothers to keep going here is beyond me but I certainly will not give them my business. They deserve NO stars and the staff needs to be held accountable for their careless actions.

Was actually surprised how good the food was here. Never had this good of food from a food court. I did not get the sushi like the other reviews.

I have come here a lot over the years. It has always been good food to me. The portion size has gone down from years past but not bad. If you ask for extra chicken you pay a little extra but it usually makes up for it. Today I went in paid extra for extra chicken like normal. They are almost out so making more while I'm standing there. They guy (face I've never seen before) scrapes what is left out of the corner adds it to my plate. This is normal for them but I make mention that it is not the extra I paid for. The guy smirks at me and says it right and to leave. I used to be a regular and now I am a never again.

We got 2 orders of shrimp and chicken. It was almost $30. The shrimp was good but the chicken was terrible. I'm not even sure it's chicken. It was rubbery and tasted like squirrel. And before you ask..yes I've eaten squirrel. Gross!!!!

In the words of my 11 year old “Super fast service. Decent food. Not gourmet. Spring rolls are good.”

Food was ok. Ordered beef with shrimp, California roll and 1 bottle of water - 19.97. Forgot to pick up the water that I ordered. 30 seconds later, he denies I paid for the water. Asked him to add pull up the past order. He gave attitude that I lied. Learn how to do customer service TokyoSAN.

Not edible. No seasoning. Teriyaki tastes like it is covered in mucus. This is part of the mall food court and should only be visited if everything else is closed and you are facing a medical emergency if you don't eat food immediately. Please don't eat here, ever. Zero stars. Update: Have you ever eaten something and instantly thought you had food poisoning? That's me right now. Can't get the texture and the un-taste out of my mouth. Went and ate at Burger King and it still won't go away. I've never eaten anything so horrible in my life.

Tried Tofu Teriyaki and Seaweed salad. Tasted absolutely delicious, although the tofu tasted charred, as if the grill wasn't cleaned for a while. 9 hours later I am still unable to eat anything else. Assumed maybe it was too much MSG, but after throwing up and checking reviews, it's probably food poisoning. If you only want to eat once for the whole day, go for it. Otherwise, you'd have better luck making the food at home

This restaurant is quite interesting to say the least. Be warned, do not order food based on what the menu says, but the pictures show. I made the mistake of not asking first and I received much less than I was asking for

Had Tofu and mushroom with fried rice and steamed veggies. The food was fresh and had just been made because it was quite good. The tofu however didnt absord all the sauce that was poured over it so it tasted a little bland. But that aside the service was quick, rice was sides were served plenty in quantity and the steamed veggies were crunch munch☺️

Was laughed at when I asked about the gluten content of something. It was really embarrassing. The workers were talking about it in front of me, and made me feel really bad about myself. They said there was no gluten in what I ordered. It turns out there was. I discovered this and pointed it out to them. For some reason the guy making it blamed me. It was really upsetting, and embarrassing to be laughed at. I'm gluten intolerant and just wanted to enjoy my lunch, not be laughed at and then fed gluten. Months later and one of my employees went and ended up getting super sick after eating the sushi. She said the sushi was warm when she ate it. She ended up throwing up in the mall cafeteria. Not to mention, I have multiple co workers who have gotten sick, me included after eating at the sister store next door "Bistro Thai." Stay away unless you want food poisoning

Went to Great Lake Crossing for lunch and TokyoSAN was my daughter's favorite food store. But yesterday my daughter said the teriyaki beef fried rice was not as good as it used to be. I tasted one piece of beef it was spoiled. We are really disappointing about their meal and won't go back anymore.

Food was horrible. Sushi (California roll) was warm, rice looked day old, fried dumplings looked like McDonald's stale fries, and the sauce was just duck sauce, I threw it out. That was $20 wasted but better than a night praying to the porcelain god.

Well. This is not how I expected Japanese food to taste like. Paid 9.50 for Beef Teriyaki. Was edible but was not tasty. Also the amount of beef was too small. Would not recommend eating at the Great Lakes in general. Maybe the employees are not paid well. Maybe the chef developed poor recipes. I don't know. But I feel quite disappointed. Quite expensive for what I got.

These Hispanic people are very disrespectful and the customer service they give is not even close to professional, the 3 men working today were whispering something as I walked away with my food, I sat across from the restaurant and I felt so uncomfortable they kept looking and giggling as I ate, it made me wonder if they did anything to my food, I’m Hispanic and I would never treat anyone the way they did. Definitely not coming back if I see the same men:
