Delicious food at a good price. Great service. Seating area is a bit cramped.

It was one of those days where you plan on eating lunch at a place with your partner, but end up eating completely elsewhere and a different cuisine. Most often you end up regretting it - but not on this occasion. We were totally blown away for more than one reason - courteous staff, value for money and most importantly tasty food. Ordered a chicken tikka masala(hot) lunch special and an Aloo paratha - cost 26.50 NZD, Taste - finger licking good !! 😊. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely go back for more.

I don’t do this often, but I was particularly disappointed in this meal. We ordered two curries and a garlic naan and found that the texture of the curries were extremely oily and watered down. There was hardly any flavour and serving my Rogan josh was like pouring water on rice. I’d like a refund if possible.

I ordered the Dehli Style butter chicken, as I always want to have hot and spicy food. Not bad Naan is good Combo with drink not even $20, I guess it's a good deal in the city centre

The goat curry should have been called bone curry. There was only one bone piece that had a bit of meat on it… the rest were just bones. The cheesy garlic bread was ok.

I felt robed. The butter chicken has no butter at all, it is a tomato sauce poured directly from the can. The chicken was not soft at all and had a lot of skin on it. Terrible taste. The roti bread was tasteless, I felt I was having a slice of paper. Awful place. First and last time.

Food is served hot. Best garlic naan we’ve tasted so far. The serving is very generous. Location is not too noisy and very near parking spots in the CBD.

I had their Mutton Kasa Combo(with Naan and a soft drink). It's $14.90. Btw, I didn't expect that came with rice as well. lol The curry hid lots of meat! It takes a while for the spice to kick in. If you're not seeing someone after, you'd better choose their garlic Naan. I love it.

I loved the chicken briyani. Am already thinking when can I go back for another briyani (: It’s a small shop with one staff handling front of house, so patience is required but the wait only makes the food tastes even better!

I love this place every time. The food is delicious. I’m a student and rarely get to visit Auckland. I need to make a habit of coming here any time I’m visiting my family. My only tip is to make sure you get a vege samosa with whatever you order. If you eat in, the sauce it comes with is delicious.

We used to eat delicious food here. Although there are several Indian restaurants near our house, but Me and my wife used to take a 1.5 hr bus this restaurant almost every month. But now the quality of the food is totally bad. The biryani that we ordered was the worst birayni I ate in Auckland. It was so watery. Seems like they made it very quickly. And they don't care about the customer satisfaction after I complained about the quality. I dont recommend this restaurant

Absolutely disappointing experience. The kadhai paneer we ordered was tooo runny and tasteless with chewy pieces of paneer. The service was too slow as we were made to wait while another couple was served first, not to mention the takeaways that were delivered before us. No plans of any re-visit and would certainly tell my knowns to avoid going there. Because there is no option of replying to the answer posted by the owner, have had to add this👇🏻 We visited at 1pm yesterday hence the paneer must be from the previous evening and my claim of it being chewy is proved. As regards the takeaway orders, they came to the shop in front of us and paced the order there. I am sure we are not the only ones disappointed but not many do post reviews. Rather than coming back to me, it’s better to get the customer service improvised.

I almost let the few low reviews put me off this place. Glad my hungry fiancé dragged me in anyway. Best curries! I loved the butter chicken (on both occasions), my other half enjoyed the tikka masala and their own Indian curry. Fairly priced, great location and they use chicken breast meat in their curry (uncommon find with my past experience) highly recommend 😋

I'm a Punjabi and know my curries well. I was on a one-night business trip from Brisbane to Auckland and thought of trying this joint near my hotel. I ordered Mogewala Kukkar, the chef's speciality. Now, this is not a usual dish to be found in the traditional fare of curries but sounded like chef's experiment and allusion to their hometown Moga. I must admit that this curry dish was very quirky and lip-smackingly delicious, possibly the finest I've had in a long time. It had a really interesting blend of different styles of masalas. The chicken was perfectly marinated and went along really well with naan. Try it with an Indian Medium spice level.

Spent 30 dollars on butter chicken rice and naan bread with a coke. It was cold and they microwaved the butter chicken. The bread was stale and cold, and some areas of the nan bread was warm. Tasted like tomato chicken rather than butter. It is a tomato soup with chicken added. I will avoid this place at all costs. I did not finish the food and left well over half. Despite the price being 30 dollars. Had to be the worst butter chicken ever brought. Any mall does better and cheaper. A mall does it for 16 dollars. Tandori is 30 dollars and I will let everyone I know to steer clear of this place.

Worst Indian I’ve ever had. Arrived cold, without rice. Sauce was watery with only 5 pieces of chewy chicken. Garlic naan tasted like it was store bought and even thought was wrapped in tinfoil, that was cold aswel. Would never go back there feel ripped off completely. Little Indian would’ve been better then this place
