We dined here twice while we were on holiday in Auckland from Australia. The service was 10/10 and the food was so bloody good. Not only was it fast but it was so tasty. I loved the open kitchen so you could see the chefs working. The decor of the establishment was also nice. Everything was delicious, I wish we had gone a third time to taste everything on the menu. The take away hokey pokey was also good. I highly recommend this place.

Island vibes with upmarket cuisine 🌴Beautiful bao - a little on the sweet side with the sauces for my taste but the tofu treatment was next level. Top quality ingredients and classy-kitsch cocktails, if there is such a thing! It's a little cramped but the service is excellent, the decor is fun. Great for a bite to start the night.

Highly recommend booking however we did not wait long. We were seated at the bar, where we were we entertained watching beautiful cocktails being made. As we were seated the large table next to had there food delivered. It all looked delicious and well presented, making it hard to decide what to have. We settled on the warm pork salad and the pork belly. Both dishes were incredibly tasty. Can recommend both of them. The service was spot on considering how busy they were. You could see the staff were really trying to stay on top of everything and they did a great job. Will definitely go back.

Celebrated my bday dinner with my partner and we were disappointed with the dishes that we ordered. Pork steam bun - pork was hard and chewy, steamed pork dumpling - was just ok, egg noodles with pork - bland, not much flavour. Fried rice was decent however kung pao chicken wasn't spicy :(. We loved the kimchi and cucumber salad though :)

Good knowledge of Chinese dumplings, they make good use of the western ingredients mix with the traditional Chinese dumpling ingredients to transforming them into the contemporary food, and they taste really great. The Pork with black truffle dumpling is highly recommended with soup inside, and served with red vinegar & ginger. Also recommend stir fried market fish.

Finally got to try their popular pork bao and it did not disappoint! The bao was just perfect, soft and airy but also dense and slightly sweet, just how a bao bun should be. The pork was crispy, the pickled cucumber added great freshness and the sauce nicely completed the whole bao. The shumai and dumplings were good too. The bang bang chicken was not quite as impressive, if I had to choose again I wouldn’t order it but wasn’t bad. Good service, nice vibe and overall a decent Asian fusion choice for some casual meet-ups!

Quite a vibrant place on the Ponsonby strip. We had ordered Sweet & Sour Pork which was really nice and the Kun Pao chicken was Ok. Also sipped in Lost in Paradise ( mocktail). Reservation is recommended on a weekend. For more reviews for places in New Zealand and beyond - follow my insta handle @inzea_n_beyond

This is a must if you are visiting Auckland. The restaurant is located in the Uber cool and chic Ponsonby area. The service is outstanding, the food is well priced and the flavours are mouth watering. Sensational. We will be back!!

A really nice Asian fusion restaurant that a mix of great food and great ambience. Went there when they had a Duck Sunday menu with Peking duck which is what our group opted in for. We also ordered the Mapo Tofu which was nice but the puréed tofu was an interesting take on things. For some sides we got roast pork steamed bun, the lamb wontons, prawn toast, pork and prawn shumai. Got a few drinks too which were nice. Lychee margarita, pineapple G&T, Bermuda sour.

We love this place - great cocktails, nice vibe, friendly staff and delicious food. Started with a negroni and glass of red. Had the fried chicken, rice, bok choy. There's a lot to enjoy and savour when you come here! Definitely recommend it as somewhere worth getting to.

I really enjoyed the blue breeze inn. The service was amazing and the staff were super friendly. Every dish was delicious, and the drinks were also quite good. Highly recommend a visit to the blue breeze inn if you’re looking for good food or even just a drink.

Fun restaurant but not what I remembered it to be. Ordered bang bang chilli chicken and kung pao chicken. The BBCC was served chilled - very cold, which made it not taste like much. The KPC had this odd aftertaste - maybe too many spices going on. Also ordered the pork belly buns - they were not crispy and a bit soggy - as though reheated in a microwave or just left lying around too long which was sad as I was looking forward to it. Maybe I just remembered the restaurant as much better than it really was four years ago - but was not that happy. Staff were friendly and attentive - although we were asked what we wanted to order after being seated for about 3 minutes.

I took my work team out to celebrate a big business win to Blue Breeze and boy am I glad I did. Outstanding service, food, wine and vibe. Hands down the best Peking Duck I have ever had - don't be put off by the $95 price tag - it was actually incredibly generous and perfect for a group of 6 all sharing. From dumplings to bang bang chicken the meal was just fantastic. Mark and the team continue to deliver an exceptional guest experience with just the right level of casual confidence & connection from their experienced floor team. If I could give it 6 stars I would. Thanks team! Frankie - Black Pineapple Co

Not entirely sure what the big fuss is about with this place. After seeing all the reviews decided to try it. Was very average. There is much better Asian fusion food in the area. Can’t say I would return.

This place was really cool, came here for a friend's dinner and everything we had was delish! Had the pork and truffle dumplings, steamed buns with pulled pork, Sichuan + Chilli peanuts and stir fried egg noodles with pork - super epic meal. Staff were polite and lovely, really quick service and will be 100% be going again in the near future. Thanks team!
