TOP STUDENT BUDGET FRIENDLY PLACE. this place has a massive menu and amazing deserts. And have a huge hot drink menu too. They never seem to miss. They are always quiet so it's nice to go to a quiet place for some hearty desserts. Last time I was here was a year ago but the prices were very affordable. Update: the way they collect orders is still old school and the service is lowkey terrible. But the vibes and prices are alright and they open quite late.

Attentive, knowledgeable, and patience staff members. Definitely the place to go to if you want to get awesome chocolate and desserts. Their chocolate dishes are definitely must try and will be a memorable experience too. The name of the dishes are also memorable.

Not as good as we thought it would be. The chocolate steam pudding lacked flavour. The hot fudge cake was decent. I got a dark hot chocolate submarino, both my partner and I thought it was rich in flavour whilst my partner got a milk chocolate submarino which lacked flavour. Overall while it was decent, it wasn't worth the wait.

They have changed the menu since the last time we visited. Love their atmosphere which is cozy, charming. There is not much space inside the store so I recommend to make your reservation before coming. Their chocolate drinks and cakes are served beautifully. However the coffee is quite average. On street parking. FYI: got replied from the owner that they don't accept reservations! I am not sure why there were 2 reserved table signs on the 2 tables at the back on the day we visited. Anyways first in first served as the owner said.

Chocolate vegan pudding was amazing. Very rich but so yummy. There’s lots of vegan single chocolate available too. Staff usually know which ones are vegan and if not they have a list which is helpful.

I use to come here all the time about 8-10 years ago when I use to live in Auckland. Everything was wonderful. I came tonight and I’m just not satisfied with the service and the mud cake was to die for but tonight it was terrible! It was like they microwaved it way too long. I couldn’t believe it… the chocolates were still the same as I remembered very delicious but the food desserts not the best. My hazelnut hot chocolate was delicious though.

Too many options to choose, the place was quite busy and the staff wasn’t really nice. We had to take the table which wasn’t cleaned yet and the staff just took the cups and dishes but didn’t even wipe the table so I had to get serviette and wipe it myself.

Good location. You can find parking in nearby locations. Reasonable quality and reasonable price. Enough seating space. Staff are friendly. A bit dated and dark and need some love. But overall an interesting experience. We always struggle to find these kind of places in Auckland.

Great little place to full fill your chocolate cravings. Loads of options to choose from. We tried their hot fudge cake which was amazing. Very reasonably priced as well!

We love to see dessert places open late in the city, and the Chocolate Boutique Cafe has enough options to keep everyone happy. Coffees, chocolate, baked goods, hot and cold desserts, and ice cream - including some vegan options across the board. It’s just expensive for what you get with the service and atmosphere.

This is my go-to place in AKL when I hang out with my friends. Love the vibe, the drinks, and most importantly the ppl there are friendly and welcoming 🥰Highly Recommended!!!!
