The service here is exquisite and the food looks and tastes absolutely astounding. Would recommend anyone coming here either for a big dinner or a quick meal. This place is great for value and is very fast service and good taste. I'm definitely coming back here regularly.

The shop is small but very homie. The lady there is ver kind and welcoming and the food portions are pretty big! Definitely a must try! Best fish n chips in CBD so far!

One Indian lady is there , she always give less chiken or lamb compared to any other stores in auckland, if you give nicely then you get business . I personally look when she is not there I will have other wise will go to other stores. But the shop and food is nice

EASILY the best fish and chips I've ever tasted and believe me , I've seen off a fair number of portions over the years !! Coming towards the end of a 3 week holiday in Auckland and discovered this outlet the other day ...didn't hesitate to repeat the exercise this evening....... We don't get HOKI fish in Durham , North East England more's the pity ( it's a fish peculiar to NZ , Australia and the Pacific Islands ) 2 generous chunks of HOKI fish and chips for 19 NZD ( that's less than a tenner back home ! ) Pearl white fish in melt - in - your - mouth batter with fries of higher standard than MacDonalds. Served by stand - alone and very pleasant Asian lady who works long hours at this shop then takes on a secondary job to help out with her finances in these uncertain times .... a hard - working lesson to us all .. well done 👏 All the very best ... couldn't workout why your queues didn't stretch a mile down Queen Street ! I am not the person who would like to post a negative review about a restaurant, but this takeaway joint was as horrible as it could get. Me and my friend got fried chicken thigh that was already priced quiet high for a takeaway fried chicken ($5.90 each) The taste was horrible, the skin and crumb tasted like old oil and fishy. Worst fried chicken i have ever had and probably the owners should look into not dropping their standards so low.

me and the bf wanted fish and chips from this place, but they were closed early. someone who knew the owner noticed us, and called the owner, who was next door, and she opened up the store just for us so we could eat from there. We ordered two fish and chips, and they were honestly the best fish and chips I ever had. Perfectly seasoned, reasonable portion size, came with sauce, beautifully cooked all across the board.

Served these tinny pieces. Wonder if this how revenue is generated. Unfortunately sales man cleaned his hands few times with his pant after sprinkling the spices on the food. Today might not be the right day to visit.

This is a small takeaway shop near the AUT, and for the last 2 years I’ve been coming here every time I’m at campus. it's a hidden gem. Their kebabs and chicken are top-notch. I personally love their mixed chicken and lamb on chips – they do it exceptionally well. What's even better is that their medium portions are quite generous, almost a large at other places. And the fact that it's halal is a big plus. I highly recommend this place for a tasty and satisfying meal.
