I went for new years and first of all it was $30 entry do they understand we are going through a pandemic? Lol The DJ kept on replaying the same songs and playing half a song and playing the next song 🤦‍♂️🤣 I think the DJ was wasted aswell lol ordered vodka and lemonade with ice but I think I was getting sober because it was watered down 😂 overall there needs to be a better DJ better bartender's who know how to mix good drinks because they were just rushing it instead of making quality drinks for the customers. Do you know how much money people spend at your bars..🤣

Not impressed with security or staff at these premises...My daughter turned 18 last week and couldn't wait to experience the night life at KONG...Unfortunately she went to the toilet at 1am not sure if her drink was spiked or she just fell asleep but awoke at 4am...Walked out and security asked each other who checked the toilets!!!OBVIOUSLY NO ONE...and there were only 4 toilets...This is not good enough lucky my girl was OK... but if she hadn't of been she could of died in their with no one knowing...PLEASE REVIEW YOUR LOCK UP PROCEDURES and look after our young people wanting to have an enjoyable safe night...

Just a sad excuse of a club. I don’t know the management but the bouncers are disgusting. If you let all sorts of hood rats in, then make sure you allow the rest in.

Venue, facilities and music were all scarcely up to par with the ridiculous $20 door charge! If you're wanting to justify charging that much then please at least remember to keep the bathrooms clean and accessible with working light bulbs and toilet paper, maintained by staff who actually know how to cap a bottle AND be nice to patrons with hip hop music that we didnt all hear you play last weekend and the weekend before that!

be aware that underaged children are getting into Kong. I know of 15 year olds that have been let in with fake ID's. Security is not up to standard.

Me and my friend go to face often and usually really enjoy it. General set up and venue is really nice, music it’s good. But last weekend I had a bad time at the bar. I had ordered a shot of tequila and a vodka cranberry. Could clearly see that the male bar tender I had was a bit angry (or generally in a bad mood). I saw him take out the glass of ice, I turned around for one second and he was already pouring the cranberry juice in. I asked for a straw multiple times and he may of not heard me but from my perspective he was ignoring me. I left the bar and couldn’t taste any alcohol in my drink. I compared it to my friends drink and it tasted completely different. I went back to the same bar tender and handed him my drink and he automatically knew what I had come for. Felt the need to write a review as I wasn’t intoxicated and feel as if this is unprofessional to be trying to scam loyal customers :(

For a friends hens night we booked in advance and purchased 2x VIP booths for the evening. There was an issue with our booking which caused a bit of interruption on the night. When I emailed to express my disappointment no responsibility was taken or compensation given by management. Sadly it was not worth the $775 we paid and we did not feel like 'Very important people' at all.

Nice music. Shoddy dj mixing. Too many people for the limited space so expect lots of chaos.

Was recommended off a facebook group, so went out with a group of mates and had a great time. The DJ was great, and the facilities were top notch.

Honestly had the most incredible experience on Saturday night! The vibe was hype, the music and lighting amazing and the bar staff were gorgeous! Neck tattoo guy I'm looking at you 😅 Best club in Auckland by far!

New Year’s Eve was very busy in the club I understand it’s full on, but the bartenders here need to maybe find new jobs. To the girl with the black hair with her hair up in a bun with her nips hanging out, your customer service is revolting, her attitude was so bad never smiled serving other customers totally ignoring us for no reason, there was one lovely lady who was very friendly sorry I did not catch her name. Thank you to the boss who served us even though the bar had closed because the man bartender wouldn’t because he said the till was not working because drinks were spilt on it which I clearly could see it was working. But hey. Bartenders need to learn customer service desperately. The bartenders need to serve on a first in first serve basis I was left standing at the bar for a good 20 minutes because bartenders were serving others who pushed in. Club is good music is ok bartenders need replacing Happy New years!

Even one star is too good for this place, funny how so many negative comments about this place they are on point, you'll be lucky even you even get past the security who and rude,unprofessional and about as smart as a bag of rocks especially the guy who's hair is tied back in a bun probably got bullied in high school so thought he would become a bouncer haha, avoid this place at all costs so many better places in town to have a good night out.

No sign at door about dress code at the door, only once you have entered which is annoying as we got denied for my mate wearing short pants. But second time we went, I have to say. This is one of the best clubs in Auckland by far in so many ways. Staff are absolutely awesome, bouncers very good at their job at keeping the unwanted people out as well as being real chilled. The venue is amazing, huge dance floor with a few tables dotted around the place for your drinks. Its all kept in amazing condition with the look of the place giving off a very modern new club as they have huge tvs on all the walls. First place I have found that has awesome djs all time around.
