Totally unacceptable! The Naan was completely undercooked and doughy. Ordered the thali and everything went waste due to the Naan. I hope they'll improve their quality of food after seeing this.

03/08/2021 order from menulog . Was a rip-off. Please see the attached photos for the portion size of large Curry box. Another photo enclosed 7 small cubes of paneer, that's all came in large Curry box. Curry was watery runny , tasteless. Regular customer for Mithaiwala , have never experienced this before. We know what their portion size is like. Samosa chat is stinking. After heating up entire lounge area is smelling foul. Photos enclosed, food went straight to rubbish bin.

First time I tried here. Good service. Everything looks clean, the dishes are attractively displayed. desserts with novel flavors. If you are a lover of experiencing new and sweet flavors. should come and try them. Paking: No Eat in: Yes Take away: Yes Price: 9/10.

Worst Customer Service Experience, Worst food packaging, Totally not worth a visit. I ordered a medium kadhai panner curry takeaway which came with 3 pieces of paneer and whole lot of capsicum priced at $8.99. A chaat that spilled all over inside my bag. Frontline lady staff who was so rude, refused to explain the name of the curries when asked politely (I am not a North Indian and I do not know the name of the curries, I had to explain myself to place an order). I did not expect her to be chit chatty with me, I only expected service and quality for the money I paid. $16 of my hard earned money I could have spent it at any other takeaway but I chose Mithaiwala, which gave me a very disappointing experience.

I ordered Veg Biryani yesterday and it was looked like a vegetable pulao. I was like really and raita they provided with it was just very sour and I think it smells like if they used last week's curd to make it. Not recommending. Don't buy it

Mithaiwala is one of the best places in Auckland I have ever been for Indian Snacks. It’s not far from the city and always serves with best quality food. I would definetly recommend trying their Chole Bhatura, Samosa chaat and ofcourse the new addition to the menu, Daal bati.

Very Delicious Food , Customer Service was amazing , definitely will recommend people to check this restaurant out , Top Indian Food I have ever eaten in Auckland ,they Had alot of different sweets and cuisines , had a wonderful time.

Food and service was very nice . We were 2 person and we ordered royal banquet we chose Marat paneer , daal makhani and Palakh paneer was very tasty and also best samosa chat in affordable price . Highly recommended 👍🙏

Saturday evening, I was looking for something sweet to eat and drink, which isn't easy in Auckland I passed by this place, decided to give it a go, and I'm happy I did There were lots of sweets, and several drinks too. They also serve regular food but this I didn't try yet Having traveled in India for 5 months, I was taken back there, definitely an authentic one Recommended!

The combination of Mithaivala with Uber gave me horrible experience. What went wrong - - Delivery was not on time - No spoon and tissues in the parcel, even after specifying while ordering on Uber app - Mithaivala blaming to Uber driver for not providing cutleries - very poor packaging. Packed in plastic container while food was still hot. The wrapper on container was sticked completely. Mithaiwala should provide scissor or blade to cut it. With honesty, the food was very good and sufficient for light lunch. The phone representative from Mithaiwala said NZ’s magic word ‘sorry’ almost 10 times - not sure if he really meant it. Anyway…enjoy your next meal with your own risk….All the best.

Worst experience ever. Ordered vegetarian noodles and it looks more like turmeric noodles. Tasted like curry and again turmeric.

We ordered royal banquet combo meal for our family. It was great experience for us. I will suggest everyone must try various combo meal options. Wonderful place for get together.

We had thalis and sweets after. The curries were delicious and the servings were generous. The server was knowledgeable about vegan food and helped us make our selections. The restaurant is in an older building and has a no-frills atmosphere that focuses on the food. Would recommend for anyone looking for great Indian food in Auckland.

I had an absolutely delightful dining experience at Mithaiwala, K Road during my first and recent visit. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming. But, it was the food that truly stole the show. Every dish was an authentic Indian taste. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout the meal. Generous portions, making it great value for money. I highly recommend it to all food enthusiasts.

Beautiful curries so delicious and so cheap priced, good value for money. I love the vegetarian samosas, so tasty. Highly recommend you to visit. A+++ service. Will definitely be coming back.

A true culinary voyage to India. Warm welcome and employees/owners willing to give good advice. The portions are generous. Very good value for money. Service, however, could be a little faster.

This cup of masala chai was $4.50c - not really worth it to be honest but the sweets are worth buying and some of the savoury snacks (I forgot to take a photo of what I bought but will do this next time for sure). I've not tried the meals here as yet. Customer service can be a bit hit and miss but hours and location are good.

The butter panned was too sweet and oily. The naan bread was also undercooked. Not acceptable. This place seems to have changed for worse.

Not able to cut the Kachori as well, even asked for other 3 items which was not available, this is says Kachori chaat, could eat only Peas and extra stuff , left the main course there . Very bad food taste

awsome taste compared to mithai express and quantity is superb. especially their momos made of paneer is toooo goood and all the food is verybtasty 🔥👌

-1 star is less too. Went for lunch with friends, first the service was too slow. The guy at the counter is not even sure what’s in menu - ordered indo Chinese platter - totally pathetic. Chole bhatoore - chole was not even cooked properly. Took one kids meal - rice too cold and kadai paneer was not fresh. Asked the guy to taste it and he was like the chef is owner today and if owner doesn’t know to how cook food. Guy was just sorry and didn’t bother getting owner to speak to.
