I want to give ZERO star!!! I have ordered a stir-fired pork by ubereats, but there is NOT pork. we had just 4 pieces of sliced pork. And also it overly salted. I reckon It’s just for the vegetarian!! Too much cabbage, they are considering too much about our health. Don’t trust photo of menu. It is fake.

This is a lovely little restaurant on Lorne St. Came with a quite a lot of people after church and the staff were very accommodating. I ordered the stir fried Eggplant and Pork which was pretty good :) nothing mind blowing for the price, but I was satisfied with the classic chinese restaurant taste and the portion size. The real highlight was the service - the one lady on floor staff was incredible at taking orders, super friendly and even remembered my dish when I went to pay! Overall a pleasant experience.

We felt welcomed right from the moment we entered the restaurant, lovely service and good food. Would recommend it for sure!

Hello I came here today for my mother’s birthday. The staff were very friendly especially the lady that served us. The food was 100% delicious. We ordered a lot of food. Every single dish was amazing . My mother enjoyed her birthday day. The lovely lady that served us even bought a slice of cake out for my mum and lit a candle. This made it a very special moment. The lady went out of her way to make my mother happy. I tried to tip the lady because she made my mother so happy. She just said don’t worry about the tip, just come next time. You have a beautiful restaurant and very kind, friendly staff that really make their customers happy. I will definitely be back again. Thank you so much.

I just ordered two dishes on Uber eats. When I saw there are too much soup in that Pork Hock Soup with Soy. I am sure the portion size won’t be right and I tasted it. The pork is really hard to chew and only a few beans. So, I took the picture in the first place and about to ask a refund because the food is not good.I have spend $30 on that? You have Gotta be kidding me. But the Uber driver doesn’t canceled the track yet. So, I couldn’t do anything. After 30 minutes. Now I am asking for the refund, lets see what will they do about it. So disappointing, I have ordered a few times from here, believe they will improve it. But not this time. I spend more than $70 for two dishes to get a bad experience? Omg

Been there twice and food is very nice. Loved the Shanghai dumpling soup, steam pork buns, fried pork dumplings. Lady that works there is very friendly and nice.

Usually when it comes to food, i'm quite a picky perosn. When i came to this resturant, everything in the inside has given me a pleasing feeling. Putting me in a good mood even before i started eating. The employees were really quite friendly too. However, the food was just amazing. The price of the food was perfectly fine and the set amount was good, just had enough to fill me up. Would recommend this resturant 100% and i will definetly come eat here again anytime i'm feeling for a feast.

Awesome restaurant! The customer service here was wonderful! It’s hard to come by a place in Auckland that has amazing customer service. Jing yu (I think was the person serving us! Only assuming from the manager title) was superb. She made us feel welcomed and comfortable in the restaurant. It’s a great place to share meals with others and has pretty decent portions for the price! Thank you heaps for the amazing service and food we received tonight. Even helped with the pronunciation of the meals which was great to learn!!! Definitely will be visiting again with my partner

NO!!! NEVEER AGAIN!!! Open the door and get seated on table for 4 people ( we were only 2 ), the customer service so terrible, rude staff throw you the menu and the meal!!! And the meal OOOMMGG!!!! The food was great! Very balanced in flavours & the dishes are big. The service is as good as the food, everyone were very nice and cheerful. I'll definitely come back :)

The actual portions were smaller than expected (bowl around size of hand 😔), and the price was on the higher side for a typical meal. The food itself was pretty good, and they had nice rice. The lunch combo came with a glass of tea and side dish (set, can't customize). The room had nice decor, and they mainly played 2010's pop in the background. One of the walls had an intriguing pattern in front of a large mirror which made the room feel more spacious. It's not really cost-effective, but would be suited for those with smaller platters and want a more higher middle class looking environment to dine with friends etc.

Half of a sweet and sour pork for $20. No wonder why this place has a 3.7 rating. Go somewhere else if you don't want to be ripped off.on top of that it it was cold.

I can say with absolute confidence this is the best BYO, not only does the food taste great but the staff are genuinely so nice.. the waitress was so accommodating and made sure we were taken care of also it was my customers birthday and they bought out a cake for him at no extra charge. Back to the food- it was fresh and spicy had a lot of kick to it just how I like it I don’t know what to say more. It was such a good place to have dinner and drinks with yours friends

We couldn't get the lunch special but tried a couple of the meat / rice (eggplant and pork, braised beef and potato) and a noodle dish for a quick lunch. The dumplings and pork bao we shared were very tasty. Overall the meal was good, just a bit pricier with the non mid week special. Service was excellent, tables and bathroom were kept very clean

Great food, great staff. Would have been a 5/5 if not afsked to moved while eating? Never have i been asked to moved while still eating, very rude and almost demanding. Not My problem it got busy and u gave me a 4 person table for 2.

Terrible value for money. I ordered this seafood combination meal with uber eats, and these tiny tiny muscles should not even make it to your plates. All you get is tiny muscles and tiny prawns, which you have to search out. Terrible

The food was authentic, large and delicious. The service was attentive and the owner was very welcoming, even offering us one of the gizmos they lend to clients, because he saw we liked it.

Really average restaurant with average food. Would not come here again as the food did not meet the expectations as the fried chicken was too oily and crunchy did not even taste like chicken. Staff were friendly and the location is nice.

The set lunch menu is quite disappointing. I ordered fried pork with salt and pepper. The food came quickly but 1. The pork tasted very doughy and the inside was pinky or purple, pretty sure it was not fresh. 2. Very very salty, I kept drinking water and there was no other flavour but saltiness. 3. Rice was also terrible as they were all sticking together and looked like old rice. In summary, not a good experience.
