The people and the place are not bad. But you just can't have a techno themed bar without a nice set of lights and a decent ventilation.

Best electronic grooves in Auckland. Not flash but it's all about the sound. Friday night's Bevan Keys and Greg Churchill get this place pumping.

Best house and techno basement in New Zealand. The music was perfect. Great place to meet local freaks and lovers.

Loved this club. The music is very good and DJs are often there all night long. Outside space for smokers is very nice, you can chill there without too loud music.

Probably last techno bar that keeps it real in Aotearoa fukin epic vibe thumping beats this place pops.

I was groped by a guy twice on the dance floor (happens literally everywhere), when I went to the bar staff about it they immediately took me seriously and we’re so kind and accommodating. They got the bouncer and he was also amazing, he dealt with the guy quickly and discreetly, I felt so safe and looked after the whole time. Staff also came and checked in on me afterward. I couldn’t have asked for a better handling of the experience.

London boy now living in Dunedin….. had a fckn blast. Went to Synthony before and then danced the rest of the night away. The door lady was a hoot. Great vibe, def want to go back 😁🕺

Ink Bar is the definition of "siloed" - an odd thin corridor of a dance floor that had to put a handrail in so people could go to the toilet. The toilets are still disgusting despite what the owners would have you believe. Unhygienic.
