Absolutely DISGUSTING!!!!! My husband was assaulted really bad on the 23rd of September 2022 by the security guards for no apparent reason. The injuries they have caused are why my husband cant attend work this week. This club needs to be shut down! Yuck behavior. It doesn't even deserve 1 start.

The guy in this photo is the manager, after 2 of his security staff tried to remove me for apperently trying to start a fight, i then protested that i didnt do anything and they decided to try forcefully remove out. After chatting with security making my point then i became a matter of 2 two secruity literally trying to ask me for a fight and consistantly staring at me as a act of intimidation. I then procceded to raise the situation with manager who obviously didnt care and was defending the secruitys behaviour. These people a bullys and only pick on people who are young or if you are alone. Its honestly so pathetic and highly unprofessional and needs to change. People are literally getting hurt by staff or thretened on a nightly basis here. Dont expect the staff be the kind of people to protect you or help you. They are just there to find any excuse to raise a problem with people they personally dont like and knowing that there is alot of their secruity they will act towards you in a way that makes you feel veey uncomfortable when your just trying to enjoy yourself.

After going to another club. We finished the night off at Roxy's roof top bar. Have been here some years ago. Boy has it dropped in standards. The roof top bar is not on the roof. Not a bright and upbeat place. Not a place I would go to again. Would have given it a - 5 star. But the lowest was a 1 star.

There are a bunch of thief’s having activities there and some of the bouncers are with them, I have been robbed in front of the bouncer and when I asked him don’t you wanna do something he was just looking at me with anger and the thief’s was laughing and at that moment another bouncer showed up and I told him the story then he took my watch from the thief and I have been kicked out.

Bouncers that just stand, looking and simply letting people getting beaten up at the bar!????? Literally at the bar... No thanks. If you want a good time with good people, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. The one star really means zero

Went last night and girls had to pay $20 for entry and guys got let in for free, toilets were disgusting and the workers knew and didn't clean them. Talking to the Duty Manager Jaz Hansen asking why the price was so high and why guys didn't have to pay and she said that it's usually $10 but someone told them they had to charge $20 and everyone had to pay and didn't believe us when we said the guys weren't paying. Asked her to find the person that wants to charge $20 but she took a while so we went upstairs and she was behind the bar serving drinks so we waited in line to talk to her and a guy on the side of the bar threw his drink in me and my friends face, I went over to him to ask why he did that but a worker stopped me trying to protect the guy, security came and said we were getting kicked out but they weren't doing anything to the guy. And the Duty Manager didn't even care that that happened and the guy was just smiling and laughing about it. Would rather rate 0 stars and will be making a formal complaint about this.

Bar staff don’t listen to basic orders. It may be loud in there. But some decibel reducers make a world of difference when listening to others.....as I have them in my own ears while enjoying a few drinks with friends... you only live once. Protect your ears.

I just wanna say that the bouncers, coat check/entry lady, bartenders and most staff were all super nice. My issue is that almost all the men there are super drunk, and super touchy. I got groped by multiple men, told them to stop, and they would keep going. All my friends had the same experience. I got a drink spilt on me so many times, and all in all felt disgusted by most of the male clientele here. Which is a shame, because the club itself is beautiful. Suffice to say I can't bring myself to come back here ever again, and I would avoid it if you aren't looking to hook up, and just dance with your girls.

Drinks are quite expensive here, however the over-all vibe of the place makes up for it. Presented as a more classy and sophisticated venue than most others, the great music, awesome interior design, and mezzanine floor combine to give you a pretty great place to spend your time out at night in town.

Last time we went, we were coming from a themed BD party so some of us were wearing some dress up stuff. My husband was wearing a wig and a baby on front but he was the most sober from all of us. The bouncer immediately denied him coming in because he was "drunk". They didn't even take their time to check if he was actually drunk, just judged by the funny costume and told him to stay outside. We started arguing that he was sober, but they didn't care. At the end the manager came and let us all in. Because the manager does care about the business, I guess. (They were charging $20 entrance fee). The place was packed and we couldn't even dance or move much. Drinks are overpriced.

Bouncer let girls cut the line saying they were “VIP” and didn’t even ID them, then kicked anyone who complained even tho everyone had been waiting 30min + in the rain. Shocking…

The security charged me $40 for the entry fee. I got a little upset about this cause the mothership(just opposite of roxy) only charged $20 bucks.

My first night clubbing in auckland after the yelawolf concert at Shed 10 I came here with two of my friends to kinda end the night of , No idea where we were going and found this place . Safe to say my very first time out clubbing in years and I had such a great time dancing !!! Everybody i meet was so super nice and all the males that were lining up at the toilets let all the females goes first :) Oh and there were no locks on the doors which is weird but all the girls were taking turns on hold the doors for each other xx . 5stars for everybody that showed up that night who respected everyone else and was so kind to each other . I am so sorry to everyone that 1 star reviewed :(

Absolutely amazing staff and club! I personally had an amazing time and all the staff were super helpful and amazing. I had an absolute blast and would recommend this club to anyone wanting to host a party or a small event. Definitely going back again!!!

Would highly not recommend. Charged me double door entrance just because the lady at the front screwed up, but was too stubborn to change it. When approached about it, she turned hostile and very rude. Left right after the incident. Used to be a nice time but it’s gone way downhill sadly. Honestly the worst service of any club I have ever been to.

This place is despicable. Will not let you in unless you're willing to offer the security/doorman a bribe. He asked for $50 and to give it to him discreetly however I oblidged and took my business elsewhere. Avoid this ripoff establishment!

I came here Friday night 16/06/23 around 2am as a Manager myself I've experienced unprofessional staff, extremely unhygienic areas, most guests were highly highly intoxicated throwing their drinks on random girls, definitely will be leaving a complaint with the local council licensing agent, duty manager Jaz Hansen who did nothing about the situation should get their license revoked you do not know how to manage a safe drinking environment.

This place can either be really really good, or really average. Its never bad. When it is dead, it is really average (but is is hardly ever dead) or if it really really busy, you cannot move at all. (This has happened quite a few times). However when it isn't super busy but it has the right amount of people in there, it is the best night club in Auckland by far. New York style club and it is awesome!!

Great music last night but the bathrooms were disgusting!! We got there just after opening and the place was dead so we went to the toilets, I nearly threw up at the sight of broken toilets, pee everywhere, the doors don't lock and no hand soap in any of them. I'd love to give the DJ 5 stars but was shocked by the maintenance of the facilities. Also the bar didn't have any zero sugar fizzy drink options or Jack Daniels which was lacking compared to most bars.

Would not let my very respectable and kind friend in because he had a face tattoo in even after the bouncer had let him in. Very old fashioned and would definitely not come back. It’s 2023 have we forgotten about being inclusive.

There are two levels which allows to divide smokers and none smokers (nonr smokers at the main level), mostly highly hiped and hip-hop music with some mixing. One of the most friendly staff ib Aucland CBD.Definetely should be visited for investigation of night life of NZ

booked a table, got to roxy and they gave it away and told me to wait 30 minutes, came back 30 minutes later and they kicked everyone out of line saying it was full. Never going back again

Roxy's location and setting is by far the best attraction of the place. If sitting around admiring your surrounding while you bant away with your mates is what you are looking for then this is the place to go. If you want to actually dance? Although music and what one finds good music is subjectional to the individual the rnb house remixes just do not do it for me.
