Great coffee here :) in fact, "surprisingly good." The staff were all very prompt, friendly and helpful. The venue was pretty lively and busy but there was more space near the back that could be opened up - had a great vibe. Fun to watch the coffee beans getting roasted. Would recommend for coffee fans and general cafe goers looking for a meeting spot!

The coffee was good but the breakfast was pretty average. We ordered eggs Benedict and it comes with two pieces of over-toasted ciabatta stacked together. The one on the top of the stack is rounded (on the side facing down) and so my poached egg rolled straight off of it when I tried to separate the two pieces of bread. The hollandaise is nice in flavour but the meal overall was not enjoyable at all because you couldn’t even cut through the ciabatta. I wouldn’t come back here or recommend it unless you’re just stopping by for a takeaway coffee.

Highly recommend this place . It’s very nice place , staff are friendly and welcoming. The place concept ( coffee lab ) and all the machines are very nice . We tried flat white, decaf latte it is the best one we had before . The cheese scones and almond croissant are very delicious and fresh. We will go to visit this place again .

TOAST SANDWICHES & FLAT WHITE - Recommended here. The toasted sandwiches were affordable from the cabinet selection and deliciously flavoured. The flatwhite had the option of choosing the coffee bean blend which was fantastic. Atmosphere was cozy and busy in the main area, but it appeared there was extra seating at the back. Will be back!

This place used to be very good. But these days everytime I go there I have bad experience. I went there today and ordered 2 soy flat whites and 2 mushroom pinwheels. There were maybe 10 people in the Cafe. All the available tables were dirty and left with used dishes on them. I went to grab some water but there were no cups there. After 10 minutes the dry old mushroom pinwheels arrived. However it took another 20 minutes on top of that for the coffers to arrive but they were in take away cups. I told them that I wanted my coffee in dine-in cups as per my order but they said their cups are all dirty and in dishwasher. I got a refund for my coffer and left. Won't go back.

Such a cool little cafe hidden away on Auckland's North Shore. We both had the Acia Bowl.... devine! The presentation was stunning. Would highly recommend.

It should be the best Cafe in Auckland. My favourite is Mocha and iced mocha. The shop has a big coffee roasters, they sell beans as well. If you are in Auckland, must come to have a try. The best combination for me is an Americano with a Tiamitsu roll.

Great premium coffee. Super busy in the weekend, be prepared to wait for seats, coffee and car park space. Otherwise, great coffee and muffins! PS: Ask for the strong flavor of coffee bean of the day for the intense flavor, it stands out compared to all other coffee places i have ever been to!

This place sells the best coffee in auckland, in my opinion. I used to work next door and went there every day, but then moved jobs a few years back. Still, I drive there specifically from south auckland to get my coffee beans for my home machine and a delish treat as their food is also exceptional.

I ordered a flat white and actually never seen such a FLAT flat white ever. It doesn't mean that coffee was bad. The taste was good but I just didn’t expect that much flat. The staff were inattentive. No greeting at all, a bit cold face for hospitality. Couldn't feel comfortable while I stayed there. My 3 stars are all for the COFFEE.

Was served by a lovely young lady with tattoos last Monday, will definitely come again if she’s still there, the service was great! Coffee was disappointing though as it took so long to be made and wasn’t up to the hype, I noticed the barista was busy talking most of the time.

Yummy breakfast options and slight changes were happily made by staff. The lovely waitress we had this morning was very sweet making sure we were happy. Breaky and Coffee were delicious and the 4 of us ate everything. Cabinet food looks delicious too. Highly recommend. Seating out or inside. ☺️☕

Free range dogs roaming guest tables unleashed belonging to employee/ owner (not ideal), extreme noise of machinery in seated area (less ideal), espresso shot not pulled with decent crema and served nearly 30 minutes later (add insult to injury) and charged $6 for pot of tea to discover it's only a dilmah green tea (did I step into the right business?). Had good coffee here before but will think twice about arranging a meeting here again.

Almost every 3 weeks to back to buy their coffee beans bc they r so good!! And you can try them from difference countries which is wonderful. Always their big fans! 🤩

My wife and I visited Coffee Lab in August and September for some lunch and coffee beans. We love the food, coffee and service here. The café team looked very present and restful even though they were busy. One of the ladies noticed us leaving and took the time to look up and smile in the midst of her tasks to thank us for visiting. I am in the process of opening a luxury Hotel in Auckland. I would like my pre opening team trained like this to be present and acknowledge everyone that walks in and out of the hotel and our food and beverage outlets. I will bring my Executive team for pre opening lunch meetings at this café so that they can watch and learn the standards we want at our Café someday 😊

Came to coffee lab with my husband and two boys for lunch. Absolutely delicious, one of the highlights of our tip to Auckland. Had the burger and eggs Bennie and a couple of sweet treats from the counter, which were very fresh. Vegan options too. Nice vibe and decor. Quite possibly the best coffee I've ever had. Will be returning.

Lively and beautifully presented cafe with some of the best coffee in NZ. Tucked in between light industrial, Coffee Lab is visited by coffee lovers who come not just for a cup but many leave with their in house roasted beans. Coffee is medium roast with a rich sweet aroma. They have roasting lessons and table seating for tens of people.

Very nice place for lunch and very good coffee! Highly recommend it.

Great coffee n food

I thought I had discovered a new coffee supplier in my new neighborhood after having tried a few coffees, but I won’t be going again. I purchased some coffee bags with the request for them to be ground for my moka pot. What I received was an incredibly fine grind that is completely unsuitable for use so I asked for an exchange. The owners daughter responded to my emails patronizing me that they know their stuff about coffee and its my “machines” fault for not being able to use the grind, and that no exchange would be offered. Really disappointed in their customer service as I’ve never had this problem with any other coffee suppliers or their grind when requested to be done for a moka pot. If anything, they would say they either cant do it and advise I’m better off doing it myself but this was not the guidance I received from Coffee lab. I’m all about supporting small business, especially after everything that’s happened this year, but this is just one of the terrible reasons that direct me to purchase from franchises that offer better customer service.

It was my second time there. Great food, service and decoration. The only thing I personally dont like as much is the mocha (great technic, but it might be something to do with the almond milk or chocolate powder they use).

Great place for a weekend coffee and stroll. A few places that a pet friendly, so bring the dog too! I've found their beans to be quite good too, I use my own grinder so can adjust to suit brewing method.
