Disappointed with the poor customer service my Fiancé and I received from this store. I was recommended The Diamond Shop by a friend of mine, so we decided to take a visit to have a look at wedding bands. We felt very rushed and unappreciated. The store assistant wasn’t very helpful and at the end she took down all my details and said she would be in touch. Three weeks later and not a peep from anyone. Extremely frustrating as I was looking forward to making a bespoke ring after hearing such wonderful feedback.

1 Start for POOR customer service, l've been looking for engagement rings and i came across their instagram page, i saw a ring that i liked so i kindly messaged asking how much would that particular ring cost? I get a reply after a few days, asking for my budget, which i then respond to and then i get told that in the budget i have i could get a specific size ct diamond. Which i did not understand because i don't know what that would look like and how big it would be I simply just asked/wanted to know the price of the ring they posted on their page. They eventually said that they are not able to disclose any details of a clients ring *THEN WHY WOULD YOU POST IT AND ADVERTISE IT* I don't live in Auckland and in order for me to make a trip to Auckland i want to know what it would possibly cost. If they are not able to disclose any details of the ring then A. Do not post it on your business account B. Be ready to give a potential customer an estimate price and details of the ring size I just wanted to shop around to see what deals i can get here in NZ but i would honestly choose Novita Diamonds over this place anytime. Horrible customer service and late replies. Sounded like they were not bothered to lose a potential client.

Very thankful that Colin was able to re-size a family heirloom ring for me! I was told by two other jewellers that it wouldn’t be possible due to the size change and stone setting, however, Colin was confident he was able to do it for me. He was able to do it right away and I went home with the ring an hour later. Very pleased with the end result. Also, thank you to Melissa for being welcoming and for the great customer service.

Sera made me the most beautiful ring I've ever seen that I used to propose. She was extremely helpful and was there through the entire process. Our wedding bands too were just gorgeous. Just an incredible atmosphere and team working at the diamond shop. Couldn't recommend them enough!

I just want to say that me and my husband feel so lucky we found TDS and met Nicola. We went to a lot of other shops and met a lot of people there but not only are TDS' rings of utmost quality with the best prices but also their customer service is impeccable. We really appreciate all their help and efforts, most especially Nicola, who made the process of selecting which diamond for the engagement ring to choosing which band for the wedding ring would best suit me and my husband's preferences, a very smooth and stress free one. The rings are perfect! A huge thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We cannot recommend TDS and its team highly enough.

Awful customer service and quality. Basically no quality control, not reliable as a diamond retailer. Their attitude towards customers was absolutely low class and rude when they can’t get their job done. Don’t buy into their Instagram image they had create. You will end up have the worse experience for your important moment.

Amazing experience just as it should be. Dan helped find the perfect ring design for my fiance, and then was very patient and helped choose a beautiful diamond for it. I was working towards a fixed date and Dan managed to get the ring made in time for this. The ring turned out amazing, my partner is absolutely in love with it and gets comments on how beautiful and detailed the ring is all the time. The diamond that Dan helped me choose is stunning and the quality and sparkle is breathtaking. I would highly recommend The Diamond Shop and will be making the effort to go back there in the future even though we are from out of town.

Sorry for the late review...I just want to praise Jemma at the Diamond Shop for her amazing service in helping designing my perfect engagement ring. When my fiancee and I went there I wasn't sure what I wanted and found the process a bit daunting with all the different options. Jemma was so patient and gave such amazing tips and suggestions and explained everything. Once we decided on a style the process was smooth and quick. I got my ring in 8weeks and that was with two snap lockdowns in between. It was also time sensitive as we were moving back to Ireland but wanted the ring in the country of proposal. I had a very specific set of requirements for an engagement ring in mind, and the team sat down with me and took all of my feedback on board, before going away and creating the most stunning ring I have seen. It was beautiful and it suited my (now) fiancee perfectly - all because they took the time to listen and get to know what we wanted. Absolutely excellent service and communication, and as expected, a stunning piece came from the time invested in getting to know what we were after. Will definitely be returning for our wedding bands and I'm sure future jewellery purchases along the way!

Extremely disappointed.. went for an initial consultation for engagement rings almost 2 weeks ago. Have had no correspondence since despite the fact that we asked multiple questions and were expecting a follow up email. Have sent multiple emails and various platforms but still have not heard a response. The Diamond shop poses a flawless image to the public but fails to provide a personable customer experience.

The service is exquisite as well as after sales, the unlimited cleaning and check in's make you feel so special. From the moment we walked into the store and were greeted by Eden to dealing with Colin - the service was superb. I had been left my Mother’s rings and had a couple of my own and was in a quandary as to what to do. Colin took the time to listen and gave some lovely suggestions. It was an emotional time and I felt totally supported. The hand made bespoke necklace that he made out of my rings is absolutely devine and I proudly wear Mum’s rings with love.
