One of the receptionist was very rude and dismissive. Asked me to check in so I did, couldn’t pronounce my name and didn’t ask how to say it properly either. Checked in and took a sit. Then I got a phone call from the other receptionist who was looking for me cause I wasn’t checked in, in their system. They also thought I was a male cause of my name. All the medical staff were absolutely amazing.

Came in for my brothers surgery but as a family member I was treated not welcomed or talked through things that are offered to us as a family member waiting ( Didn’t even tell us that coffee and tea are available) being from Wellington I felt that Auckland surgical centre could do better for others as well as the patient being admitted , even though not being a patient myself, I would not recommend anyone coming here. Nurses that work here need to learn how to approach people especially when talking to family members . When my mother got approach by a nurse with a rude high tone loud voice and told her to sit down. This is not appropriate nurse behaviour.

my mum had her surgery done here yesterday and had to stay overnight till this morning. the process at ASC was smooth and efficient. the nurses were very attentive and friendly, they did regular check ups and made myself & mum feel very comfortable during our stay. this was our first time at ASC and by far the best service we have ever received from any healthcare service. if you get an appointment for any procedures here - you are in safe hands. you will leave the place happy. 100% would recommend.

I am giving a mixed review today. The surgical staff and the nursing staff are amazing, they can have 5 stars. I cannot say highly enough of the care I received from them during my recent 1 night stay. The support staff, administration staff, reception staff and accounts staff are in serious need of a manners and communication course. They are rude and do not take the time to listen to what it is you are attempting to convey. Shouting at someone, over email, is not necessary and unprofessional. Seriously, if I was in HR in this establishment, I would be giving it an overhaul.

Are you after an amazing medical experience with fantastic staff who really go above and beyond to try and help? Auckland Surgical Centre are all of that and more. It's kind of strange to say that I really enjoyed my time here, because, y'know, medical procedures, but I really enjoyed being at the centre. Everyone seemed to care, and they took their time to help and make sure that you were okay. I couldn't have asked for more. Truthfully, I'm extremely grateful to the folks here. They rock.

My first ever surgery, the nurses and medical staff were amazing, friendly and very caring I would definatley recommend to anyone about to undergo surgery.

Had surgery on the 25/01/2024 The team at Auckland Surgical Centre are just the best. ! A lovely facility, huge rooms , extremely clean , the best Southern Cross Hospital I have stayed in . Food was also excellent. A huge thank you to Anna, Jessica also Katty and all the theatre team that looked after me. Would happily have stayed another 2 nights. Fabulous nurses who really care and go the extra mile . Nothing was too much trouble . Louise Wood

It was my first experience getting surgery and I wouldn't change it for nothing.The staff nurses, surgeons, anaethetists are the best by far. They made me feel at home and comfortable I recommend ASC to anyone looking for a overnight procedure. You are definitely in safe and capable hands

Shoutout to all staff at ASC! From the receptionist; Janine, to the nurses that took care of me!! Graeme taking good care of me in the recovery room, listening to random things I was saying while I was in zombie mode haha! To, Jessica, Sarah, Russel, and my henna brow lady 😂 (too many people, I’ve forgotten this one person who looked after me right through til discharge, such a good laugh and chat the whole time there. Thank you for the best service while being here overnight. Biggest shoutout to Dr. Hanlon and the team, Audrey, Nadia, EZY (sorry if I spell it wrong) and the rest of the team in theatre. Exceptional service and care from everyone of these people and couldn’t recommend more! I was taken so well cared of! I will try my very best not to come back 😂🤍

Very friendly helpful and knowledgable staff, awesome support during my pain in the night, very experienced nurse tucked me in bed in a way resulting in lower my pain. Regular health monitoring, feedback and informable. Very well run centre.

I got my first Sx in NZ, January 2024 I would like to thank especially to my day surgery nurse Rosaly (rosie ) kinda forgot her real name, btw she one of the best nurse. Thru admission till d/c. She makes me feel comfortable pre-post op. I really appreciate her cares and passion. my Surgeon Dr. Koae thank you for answering my queries and supporting my med cert, also big thanks to Dr David my anesthesiologist makes me feel less anxious regarding my concerns about GA ,thank you for thorough explanation. I remember he said WELCOME TO OUR WORLD. 🤍🙏🏻and to OR Team much appreciated.I’mso glad I chose (North Harbour Sx) and would highly recommend to anyone. Hoping to work with them too in the future,such a great Team / Hospital. No words can explain how great-full to choose them to Tx me. God Bless 🤍
