I have to say I had a very unsatisfied experience yesterday. I went to the CBD shop and I pick-up a cup with a lid, and the lid slipped out and broken on the tile floor. The shop assistantsX2 demanded payment for the whole price. I said that's fine, but I want to see your policy. Surely there are my responsibility to an extend and so do you. I just want to clarify what's mine and what's yours and what's the percentage for me to pay. But the shop assistants refused to show me the policy (actually they don't know such document existed) and demanded the payment in full. I felt being set up, if you put any glassware above tile floor and unprotected the area, there will be more broken glasses, if the full responsibility is your customer then it's not fair. I have to pay and leave, as the argument is not resolve in anywhere and I have my son with me who is getting stressed. Not happy though. Yes, you might recover the cost of a cup, but 2 very unhappy long term customers are leaving you and your shop for your incapable service.

I don’t usually make posts on FB but this experience needs to be said. I walked into Yoyoso store on Monday 31/10 to have a quick browse around. After a few minutes I left the store. I was only 10 metres outside the store when I heard a young Asian girls voice say to me “stop Mr no questions or no police, please give me back my phone” I was a bit taken back and at first I thought she wanted to use my phone and misunderstood what was being said. “I said to her “sorry what are you asking?” She said “Mr please give me back my phone, I know you stole my phone, no questions, I won’t get police give my phone back, she appeared desperate and pleaded with me to come back to the store to check video footage and prove my innocence. By this stage two road workers were watching this scene and approached us to see what was going on. I sensed the two men were leaning toward her concern so I agreed that I would come back to the store with her to sort the issue. As soon as we all entered the store her colleague waved her phone to everyone in the store indicating it was behind the counter the whole time. She immediately grabbed my arm and shoved a soft toy in my face pleading how sorry she was in front of a shop full of people. I wont tell you what I did after that, but what I will say is that I’m a proud man of colour. This type of incident dosent happen to me often, but when it dose I feel a deep pain like no other, it reminds me of the many racially profiled incidents Ive had to endure as a child, teen, and as an adult. As a child I was MADE to FEEL ashamed by bullies because of the colour of my skin, and yet I will always believe my indifference is actually my superpower. The ignorance and sheer stupidity of others only makes me stronger

Just had a very bad experience with them. They are not a customer friendly people. Have given false information regarding the product which I purchased and without any commitment for further satisfaction of the customer. Will never recommend these guys again to anyone.

Dec 2020 - A month ago I gave the store a 5 star review. (see below), now it's Dec 2020, we went for another visit, the store main entrance smelled very strong of urination. They should have cleaned it at start of the day, the smell was so disgusting and it was worse than the public toilet in parks - if you can imagine. Better to go to Yoyosos in the malls such as Newmarket, Glenfield. If you don't believe me, go and check it out for yourself. This is the main reason for 1 star rating compared to 5 star rating a month ago!! 20 Nov 2020: Cool store with unique items. Not quite the $2 dollar shop but nice shop layout with good lighting and neat displays. This particular branch also has basement section. Other stores are in Newmarket Westfield, Glenfield Mall etc. The urination smell is truly unbearable.

I wishes if there is 0 star i will rate them 0. Very bad customer service. Does not accept half cash and half card. The lady was shouting at me and ask do i understand English when she dont even talk proper english. 1st and last for this shop.

Beware they close early even though there werent any signs on the door - we visited on a thursday evening (17th February) at 8 pm but the person in charge just closed the store without saying the reason or leaving a note we checked allocated hours stating it closes at 9 pm both on the door and online.

Horrible staff service! walked in and the two employees that was a girl that has ash dyed dark greenish blue hair and this other male employee was too busy kissing and hugging in front of customers. Unprofessional!. Was also very rude and could not understand basic english. Horrible experience, I would not recommend here.

Yoyoso its a good shopping place where you can buy many things like key chains, toys, soft toys, cosmetics, massagers, facial, snowballs and more. Inside yoyoso their is moge tee they serve really good tea, yoghurt drink, fresh/cheese drinks too. Thank you.

Came here on Saturday 17 December with my daughter as it's my go - to - place for birthday presents and Christmas presents, etc at really great prices.Staff are always very friendly and the plushies are so cute and it has some cool tech stuff too

I saw Joyoung Y828 milk maker and blender online but decided to check it out in person at Yoyoso Queen Street branch. Mia the store assistant was quick to serve me and asked me if I needed help. She explained very well and offered to get the blender from other store for me on the same day because I didn't want to buy the one on display. Yes I admit I am a very fussy customer. 😅 And on the same day she messaged me to let me know the blender/milk maker is ready for me to pick up. On the same day I picked up my new Joyoung Y828 machine and dropped off the Joyoung kettle bought in Feb 2023 for them to check if there's any faulty. Within a day Mia messaged me that she would change a base of kettle for me and even sent me a video clip showing the kettle was working well without faulty. When I walked in that day Mia remember me and she had the kettle ready for me as well. I feel so glad that I decided to buy Joyoung Y828 at Yoyoso. Their service is outstanding and also special thanks to Mia for taking care of me. I feel very valued as customer and I would definitely recommend Yoyoso to anyone and l would suggest to walk into the store and check out in person rather than buying online. I have also used Joyoung Y828 to make soy milk and soy date milk. Taste delicious and super easy to use! And again i would like to thank Mia for her outstanding customer service! 👏🥰❤️

They were stocking the shelves. Was up at the counter. Did call out but got no response so put the items back and left the store. Previously had excellent service, they searched the store for item I wanted. They offered me the display as they were out of stock of the item.
