This place is shocking. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad while out with friends. Took 30mins for them to make while my friends food came within 15 mins. They forgot to add the chicken on the salad let alone the extra chicken I paid for for which is literally the point in a “chicken Caesar salad” and not to mention it was the most vial salad I’ve ever had and I’m not a picky eater trust me. My salad was boiling hot as if they had cooked in the oven and it tasted like rotten fish mixed with mold. There was no apology or anything when the gave me the salad which arrived when everyone on my table had finished there food. This is absolutely shocking. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! Also one more thing apparently it’s “to busy” for them to meet dietary requirements. PATHETIC.

I'm a regular here but sadly won't be anymore as their coffee club cards just aren't good value like they used to be (was always 5th coffee free and now it's 6th coffee free). The coffee here is already more expensive than my favourite cafe nearby Britomart. I also don't appreciate the staff not saying hi or how are you when you approach the counter, it's just "takeaway or have here", like they seem to at all coffee club's in Auckland. Coffee is consistently the same here though which is good and manager seems nice.

We came here for brunch order a burger and a sandwich. When I ask to change sandwich ciabatta to five grain one they told me extra a dollar which clearly says on the menu for free. And we waited for more than 20min for food. There weren't not many customers. We checked with one of the worker and he said about 5min, while you wait, we give you free chips. They never gave us the chips they said they'd give us for free and seems like kitchen didn't even start making our order. No wonder it's so late. We are here for celebrating our special day and literally they ruined our day. Shouldn't have even come here. Btw food tastes okay. Just customer service wasn't good. We paid around $60 and I think we should deserve more better experience. Don't lie to customer when you can not give us what you promised and when we ask questions. Awful

Went here at 4:30 as they said they were open till 6. Asked to confirm what time they close, the owner asked me back what time I wanted to stay till. I asked him again because I didnt want to make them stay behind. He kept asking me back, so I said about an hour, to which he replied 'then we would have to wait just for you.' With a salty face. Dont see why he was questioning me and why it is written the store is open till 6. Dont work if you dont want to open. Rude attitude, did not stay.

Possibly the worst coffee I’ve ever had. Nice interior, staff are friendly enough, food looked decent. But both the espresso and the milk were burnt in my flat white, it tasted sour. Even after adding 3 sugars it was undrinkable.

My compliments to the chef, excellent scrambled eggs, ciabatta bread and a hash brown, delicious. I have frequented this place for many years prior to the new owners. Service is slow, waiting 20mins for a my order - with a near empty cafe? I had to repeat my order 4x time due to english barrier. Not good enough !! Owner is rude, needs to train new staff properly. I won't be going there again. 👎👎

Grumpy person serving. My friend asked for toast with no butter but a side of honey. He was reluctant to take her order and even use the coffee card that she paid for . The toast arrived with butter on, so it had to be sent back She eventually got the toast and honey. I had the eggs Benedict with salmon. It was ok. Had better at coffee clubs.

The member that served me could do with a course in Customer relations his attitude on Xmas Day down right rude and ignorant. If it was the manager making the coffee his attitude was not any better. Cheesecake and coffee (bring it to your table) after standing there waiting. The table was that uneven the coffee nearly slid off the table no attempt by him to rectify matter. Half the base of the cheesecake missing coffee like dishwater. I have many visits to Coffee Clubs throughout the world CONGRATULATIONS this would be the worse a disgrace to the chain. It is a shame they do not allow you to show minus stars in ratings.

I am indulging the exquisite taste and aroma of my Regular Flat White at The Coffee Club Customs St East. The taste is excellent and the aroma is by the furthest the best barista coffee ever agreeable to my taste buds. I know coffee is a stimulant, and I have to live with it. Come try it for your experience if you want, worth the time and space.

My order was given to some other customers. Staff didn't have the courtesy to tell me they stuffed up. Just said won't be long when I queried about time. They didn't realize the customer they gave my order to was sitting on the table next to me and he accepted my order even though his order was totally different.

Worst coffee club in New Zealand. My younger brother passed by today and need to use toilet. When coming out from toilet, two staff standing in front of the toilet and push him to buy food, saying toilet is for customer only. But there is no sign for this. I know it is common sense that cafe is for customers only, but for a young kid, you guys use two employees to push him buy food because he want to use a toilet for an urgent need. And if you can ask him to buy food in a nice way, then we don’t mind. With the rude and racist attitude, feel ashamed that New Zealand has people like this. Hope God can guide these two people in a way to treat people well. June 2nd 2023 at 8.40am.

Been a favourite of mine consistently for over a year! No one does a citrus tart or a chocolate cake as well as them! And lets not even get to the signature club sandwich!!! Always have a good time in whichever coffee club i go to, in fact we plan our drives according to the locations of coffee clubs as they make for ideal pit stops!

Decent. But not worth the cost. The potato rosti breakfast is 18 bucks, for a frozen and deep fried potato cake, an egg (well poached at least) and some non crispy bacon :-/ 12 bucks for two coffees. But decent coffees.

I really want to give zero. The guy was very grumphy , no smile on his face. I went to the cafe around 8.30 am and I was the second person who paid for my coffee, after me there were another 2 customers were there. The guy served them before me, I was waiting for my coffee for 15 mins. When I asked how long it will take, he just showed his palm to me. Later he brough the coffee and no apologies for the delay. His expression was superb rude. I just returned the coffee and left the cafe. I will request to the Area Manager of Cofee club, please train them well how to serve customers. Service is an important issue, the customer pay $7.00 not only for coffee, good service is important too, especially in hospitality industry. otherwise this coffee shop will loose so many local customer. I will never go back to the coffee shop.

Terrible experience on all accounts. Staff could do with a smile on their face. Instead, they make you feel unwelcome. Food was overpriced for the poor quality. Shoulda brought my chainsaw to cut into my brownie.

had to wait around 7 minutes just to get a takeaway cheese scone, then she heated it up without asking me to heat it up (i didn’t want it heated) then gave me no knife for my heated scone and butter. also heated it for around 2 whole minutes

Good location and ambiance, especially when sitting by the street, but everything else just average.

Unpleasant Visit to The Coffee Club My recent visit to The Coffee Club was disappointing. The service was slow, taking half an hour to microwave my cabinet food for just 20 seconds. Additionally, my girlfriend's meal was served cold. Overall, a subpar experience that left us unsatisfied.

Friendly welcoming staff, good service, very nice coffee, delicious cheese scone. Nice and tidy place. Thanks to the staff.

A WOW experience! My gf and I both ordered eggs benny and they were cooked to perfection! Coffee was great, service was awesome, lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be back when I'm in Auckland again! Thanks Coffee club team.

Its great. But their closing time is to early. I mean, I want to enjoy coffee at my afternoon time but I cant. Geez

Love this place while visiting Auckland. It was close to our hotel but we came almost everyday for the coffee and the food was delicious. Friendliest staff 💕 will make sure to come back when we’re in town again

Their Angus beef burger is my favourite, also they have so many drinks to choose from. I always have their real fruit smoothies, that is always fresh and always great

Great Coffee Shop and Eatery experience. Very friendly and helpful staff, had a Large Cappuccino with Chocolate Sprinkles and my friend had a Spinach and Feta sausage roll. They have a great selection of snacks, cakes and pastries and then the food to order from the kitchen, great portions and real value for money. Come out and support our smaller businesses in these difficult times, have a great break for some excellent coffee and something to eat. Will be back again soon.

Nice atmosphere, but the cost the of food is overpriced for something so simple. Eggs Benedict: toasted Ciabatta, bacon, egg and sauce. I would have paid $12. But $19. There were 2 customers who sat down in front of me who read the menu. The lady behind the cashier was chatting to co worker and having a laugh standing waiting for a customer. The poor customers had to stand and go over to order. The place wasnt busy only had 5 people including me. It would be a nice courtesy for the staff to make the effort and go over and see the customers for there order when its not busy.

I have eaten here a few time. The food is okay. The store does need a new makeover with new seats etc. The coffee is good.

Starting with the good: the tables are kept clean, they've got about 6 outside tables as well, they've got a single toilet for paying customers, and their caramel cheesecake at least _looks_ delicious but not right for 9am haha. However, as someone who doesn't drink coffee but is instead looking for a little morning breakfast snack before work, I didn't see much besides the deserts that looked mouth watering and the apple-berry muffin I got in the end had too many oats/seed things to enjoy it much. I was hoping just for a regular muffin as it looked on the outside and there was a long hair wrapped up inside the plastic wrap (although this never really bothers me).

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! a friend and i went in to look at the menu and the cakes, where my friend proceeded to leave to use the restroom, considering we were looking at the menu to come back later for lunch, were forced to buy something AS WE USED THE BATHROOM!!?!?!?!? the lady said we were not aloud to leave unless we bought something??? forcing us to spend over $5 on there already over priced cakes, as we used there bathroom??? will never be returning, and will make aware to other friends and family to not do the same. - slice we payed for was terrible

I often come to coffee club quay street cbd , coffee and food are lovely , service is quick and efficient with lovely smiley staff ? I’m always partial to an omelette ,mine was delicious and full of filling . The bathroom has been cleaned up so now it’s looking very hygienic as it wasn’t before , well done and good luck to the new owners . 🙏🏻😀
