DO NOT WALK PAST THIS PLACE!! The owner is an absolute veteran in their craft, perfectly cooked food with amazing flavour. Some of the best food in ALL OF AUCKLAND CBD! I would come here again everyday if I could 10/10.

This is a fantastic place for dumplings. The mee goreng has just a touch of spice that makes it quite tasty. We were only in Wellington for two days but made it a point to this place twice. We didn't even know that we would enjoy dumplings with sweet corn bit these were great. Prices are unbeatable for the amount and quality of food.

Average dumplings. But the place looks like a dump, paint it properly, take some pride in your restaurant and perhaps clean the floors one in a while. A lot better choices nearby

The worst shop ever, you have to wait 40 minutes for your food, even busy times no one enter this shop, I saw one uber guy waited 50 minutes and begging to prepare his order, un tidy place as you can see in picture . And they will say please wait 5 minutes it will be ready and it will take a whole long day,

Cutest little homestyle location. I see them making dumplings in the back. I got both pan fried and steamed pork and chive dumpling (highly recommend this flavor). The chives are not like the western ones, they are the Chinese flat leafed one (韭菜). Big meaty juicy dumplings per tray. We also got egg fried rice and that was good and reasonably priced. Overall a great meal for a good price.

Purchased. 10 dumpling for $15. Incredible value. The dumplings came out were large (requires two bites), home made, juicy, and was presented well in wooden steamer. 10 pieces were more than enough to feel quite full. The filling was packed with actual large prawns and mixed perfectly with chili sauce. Place was clean and tidy. Did not expect all this for $15. Definitely one of Auckland's hidden gems.

I came here because it was nearby and I had a huge dumpling craving. We got beef and mushroom & pork chives and prawn. The pork chives and prawn dumplings were so good but the beef ones were just okay in my opinion. We got them fried and they were really nice and crispy. Their dumplings are quite long and big so pretty good value for money! They seemed really busy as they kept having online orders coming through but our food came out pretty fast. If you dine in they have soy sauce, vinegar and chilli oil on the table to use which is nice!

Here's why you should always check your takeaway before leaving a restaurant. I usually go to this place for dumpling, cos they're really good and value for $$. I've done takeaway a few times, and it's never happened before. So I'm quite surprised by this! This is probably the worse takeaway I've ever got in Auckland and I'm actually quite shocked that the restaurant was still happy to pack and give it to me.

Came here because of the good star rating however it was a bit of a let down. Undercooked and the fillings fell out.

This used to be my absolute favourite dumpling place back when they were on Upper Queen St. However, I have been there 3 times since they’ve moved to Victoria St, and all 3 times were disappointing. The dumplings filling was a lot less, the wrapper wasn’t closed/would fall apart when you picked them up and just not juicy like they use to be. Unfortunately won’t be going back :(

Owner (?) was very nice and pleasant. Steaming dumplings takes a while and I like that they steam it when you order instead of the dumplings being in the basket the whole day so you will have to wait for 10 to 15 mins. The wrapper is exactly the texture of the Jiao Tzi they make in the north. It brought back memories of Beijing and when I mentioned it, the owner said he is from Tianjin (close to Beijing). Short of actually going back to Beijing, I have never had these types of dumplings during my other travels so it made me happy. Flavour is not so strong as in Beijing but good enough for the majority. I will definitely come back here when I visit Auckland again!

Best dumplings I’ve had in a very long time, big call considering how high the dumpling standard is in Auckland

What an absolute gem! The dumplings were BIG, just like how mum makes them at home, and absolutely stuffed with filling! I got the pork and chive (10/10), and pork and spring onion (8/10, not enough salt), and both were so, so, so delicious. If you're after good, honest, homestyle dumplings, this is the place to go!

The interior design, in particular painting, is very poor quality. But the food is very nice and good value. Took them a little while so I assume they were made fresh. Nice customer service too. Would recommend if you're into dumplings and not too bothered by dodgy paint jobs.

Not the coziest restaurant as it is very simple. BUT the dumplings are insane and really delicious! Both, the steamed and the fried version were so yummy and prepared with love. And the meal was huge, you will definitely be full afterwards ☺️ Would definitely come back to this place when I’m in Auckland CBD!

Bomb food for such a good price (20$ for 16 pieces). So filling and very large dumplings. Was told we could get two different options if we got the large so good to ask in case you wanna try a couple of flavours (though we asked for the chicken/chives and chicken/coriander and seemed like they both tasted the same…). Nonetheless super yummy and super cheap for all the yummy food you get.

One of the best dumplings I’ve had. Pair it with a fair amount of vinegar and chili oil to spice it up. Delicious!

It’s nothing fancy but the food is fabulous! We had the chicken fried rice and 10 pork dumplings. Enough for the 2 of us and so tasty! Curitous service and generous portions. Our food and two drinks all under $40 NZ. We are very happy we gave this place a try!

Right down the street from Starbucks we ran into this cute little dumpling place with 4 tables and a single printed menu at the register. Ordered up a couple of takeaway dumpling sets (one fried, one steamed). Took them home and they were extremely packaged with very nice chopsticks, napkins, and 2 different dips / spices. Most importantly, they were delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality / quantity. Give them a try!

We have been coming here weekly if not fortnightly since we moved to Auckland 6 months ago. First time we visited we went straight back the next day. We are now leaving and this place is one of our last meals! Pork and chive - always! Pan fried is our favourite because the dumpling sauce they use caramelises and makes a yummy crispy topping. Their steamed are spot on too. They are big dumplings too and we’ll worth the price. I see them making the dumplings out the back. We get 2 x large between two people and take a few left overs home. We love how low key this place is. No frills, self serve cutlery, good soy sauce and fantastic dumplings. Must visit!

No atmosphere at all. Place doesn't even look like it's open, but please don't let that fool you. These are some of the best dumplings I've ever had and please try there home-made Chili oil. Oh my. Yes. Yes. Yes.

One of the best dumplings places in Auckland. I wonder why I didn't come across this place until last weekend. We had chicken and chives dumplings. Yummy and delicious. Decent pricing, generous proportion and mouth watering taste.

Honestly the best dumplings I have ever had in New Zealand. The price is cheap for the amount. The dumplings are amazing, fresh and delicious, size is really big, I usually get full after I finish half of one serving, dipping sauce they made themselves is really good too. Make me think of my hometown and my mom Iol. I know it sounds kind of weird but I really love them!!

I had the best dumplings last night. I want to go back ASAP for more pork and shrimp 🥟! WOW they were good. My mouth waters just thinking about it.

Lovely dumplings, very tasty and moist, they give you two sauces to accompany them (takeaway). It's a bit shabby inside and there is about a 15 minute wait if you haven't pre-ordered. Worth the wait I say!

I don't know any better dumplings in Auckland 👍😊 I love prown and water chestnuts, but it is sold out some times 😭 There handmade chilli sauce is very nice 👍

Unfortunately not as good as the reviews made it out to be. Very large dumplings but alas they fell apart with every stab of the wooden forks provided. Small and salty fillings and quite oily. Had the pork and chives.

Prawn dumplings were good, but other flavours werent as enjoyable. Good portion size and value for money, but not appealing to dine in.

New favourite dumpling place. Affordable prices, good portions and delicious dumplings. Had to wait for a wee bit and I did find a small piece of hard plastic in one of the dumplings but these things happen every now and then. I will still keep going back to this place because their dumplings and sauces are delicious!
