Absolutely amazingly good! Had a great time there. Food was great and aroy ( yummy). Services was top level and funny to say they are the only restaurants that I have been to provide a finger bowl, which was down to details and impressive! Dine in there do feel like back in Thailand. Highly recommended!

I just wanted to say I am very happy that I finally made up my mind taking the stairs down to take a look at it. Thai Street, just as the name says, you get to try famous street or night market foods in Thailand, at this basement food court. Amazing! I ordered the world-famous boat noodles soup, which you only get to eat this on the boat on Bangkok canel water market. Without paying airfare, you enjoy it here in Auckland, New Zealand. Very authentic, incredibly delicious 😋 I can't help drinking every drop of the soup at the end.

Very delicious and affordable Thai restaurant right in the luxurious/ fancy area of the harbor. I ordered the panang hoo. Their panang is lighter/thinner curry panang with perfect taste and texture for me. Not super sweet neither. Service was great and efficient and you have access to the harbor area and bars or ice cream shops just a block away.

Authentic Thai food I tried in Auckland, especially Thai papaya salad! Mango sticky rice is sweet and nice dish but mango could be more better!

Looking for a comfortable, authentic Thai restaurant in Auckland city? Found Thai St on Wynyard Quarter and love it. Atmosphere, staff and food top notch. Full bar as well with tap beer and spirits including a great rabge of whiskeys.

If you are looking for an awesome place to eat, I can highly recommend it here. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is so beautiful, not to mention the great value for your money.

Beautiful Thai cuisine 🔥 Vibrant flavours that are expertly balanced - the rich umami and buttery meats cut with citrus and spice 🫠👌 The staff are incredibly helpful and welcoming and the decor is very chic. I will be back again and again. It’s really elevated and generous for a street food joint - really worth a visit and a great place to take the date 💞

(FYI - picture is from other Thai restaurant) Just want to rub this in your face - look at the crabs we got from the crab fried rice from other Thai restaurant. Your Kao Pad Bpu aka crab meats fried rice price at $21.50 with zero crab meat. Same price from other Thai we have nearly full bowl of crab meats. You are opening a restaurant and bar in one of the busiest area, at a prime location no less, why should the customers pay for your poor quality of food and poor service? Even “poor service” is a compliment to your place, you have no service at all. If your business goal is to go cheap and fool the customers to pay for your low quality overpriced food, well you are doing excellent. I hope some official authorities receive more complaints so that they can look into your business to stop your trick.

I can’t recommend this restaurant enough! They were able to fit us in on really short notice, and provide an amazing experience! The food is so fresh and flavourful, exquisite Thai cuisine. Please make the trip here if you’re in Auckland, you won’t regret it!

Choose from one of the choices on the $18.90 lunch menu, which is really good value. We ordered and the food was on the table in less than 10 mins after ordering. Clean environment and neat decor restaurant in North Wharf. Excellent service too

I ordered the sizzling hot and was underwhelmed. Flavour combination was okay but it was a bit dry and basic for the price and portion. The salads and sauce didn't really help. I won't be rushing back in future. Great location. Tidy and has indoor and outdoor seating. You can get here via the City Link or you can walk over the foot bridge from the Viaduct.

As I am a Thai, I would like to recommend this shop. This is one of the best Thai shops in Auckland. The food was amazing, with an authentic taste. The staff were so nice. The restaurant was clean. The price was reasonable. Highly recommend for Thai foods 👌🏻

Ordered the Red Curry Duck and Tom Yum Soup, and both tasted mediocre to me. The Red Curry Duck has just a few slices of duck and tasted really sweet. Ok place to go for a quick Thai food bite

The restaurant doesn’t have a baby change facility. Also the seafood platter was tasteless 🫠, the sauce was the only item that had some taste.

We had a fantastic dining experience at this Thai Street. The tom yum goong, pad thai chicken, and golden money bags were absolutely delicious, leaving my taste buds thoroughly satisfied. The gaeng kiew whan had a great flavor, although it could have been a bit creamier. The service was prompt and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. The only minor drawback was the $1 charge for takeaway containers, which might deter some diners. Nevertheless, it's undoubtedly a great place for a tasty meal.

This place operates by Thai immigrants who migrate over from Thailand and settle down in Auckland. The food is authentic Thai but unfortunately, the restaurant tones it down to suit the taste of European.

First time at Thai Street and it was amazing! Every staff member we dealt with from the moment we walked in, were absolutely amazing, so kind and friendly. Great atmosphere, beautiful inside and out. Food is to die for! The flavours, the tastes - incredible. Cannot wait to dine again.

Our regular MUST-HAVES are Tom Yum Goong (comes in good number of large prawns, always ordered large portion as we never had enough), Crispy Pork Hock, Crispy Snapper and Chargrilled Chicken with Sticky Rice & Green Papaya Salad. Highly satisfied with these staples! The refreshing authentic Thai condiments magically spiced up the dishes to the next level! Not forgetting the Go-Tos Green Chicken Curry (loved that creamy coconut taste), Massaman Beef Curry and Sizzling Beef. Portions are a tad tiny compared above but comfort food overall. Rainy night, curries on Jasmine rice, voila. Super quick service despite ordering upon arrival for a group of 15. Reservation over the phone a few days prior was easy and hassle free! Children friendly, cozy atmosphere, clean and good communication from staffs. Good choice of music too. 2 rounds of Tiger on Tap summed up a wonderful Anzac weekend! A good place to be.

Loved the food. I am a Tourist to New Zealand and the food made my first day great. Loved the hospitality. Joy has a perfect smile and welcomes everyone greatly. Enjoy the hospitality.

Offers a very good, and quite inexpensive Som Tum (green papaya salad). If you like Som Tum nearly as much as I do, you'll want to go here often. And on the basis of this indicator dish I intend to work my way through the rest of the menu.

Good service and food was really tasty, I had the Emerald Duck - roasted duck, seasonal greens, mixed spices with rice Would definitely go back, nice to find good places for dinner when travelling for work.

These guys deserve a high rating. Came here on a first table reservation and was an excellent evening. Very friendly and welcoming and the food was spectacular. Pork Belly Hot Pot was so damn good. Everything was finished and we’ll definitely come back again.

Great service. Great more upmarket ambience than a typical Thai restaurant. And the food simply amazing. Staff are very accommodating. We were there with a couple of very young kids and they did their best to make it easy for us. Thank you

This place is a gem. Staff are friendly and accommodating, atmosphere is superb, but most of all the food is exceptional. I’d say their papaya salad is one of the best and the most authentic around here. You could see them making it in a mortar and pestle right before your eyes, and it has the perfect balance of tang, salt, spice and stinkiness (for lack of a better word - but if you know you know). Their seafood dishes are fresh and made with top quality ingredients. If you are a tom yum enthusiast like me I’d also recommend their steamed fish - which has quite a similar flavour profile and plenty of broth to slurp. Every time when I visit there I just can’t wait to go back there again.
