My
parents
participated
in
the
8-day
South
Island
tour
on
December
7th.
This
was
an
extremely
unpleasant
experience.
Before
the
trip,
my
parents
stayed
at
home
for
three
days
on
their
own
to
prevent
being
infected
with
the
new
coronavirus
and
affecting
the
trip.
However,
on
the
first
day
of
the
tour,
someone
on
the
bus
showed
symptoms
of
suspected
COVID-19.
They
coughed
and
sneezed
unscrupulously,
did
not
wear
masks,
and
secretly
took
cold
medicine.
They
claimed
they
had
a
cold.
The
tour
guide
also
failed
to
promptly
test
him
for
COVID-19
or
take
necessary
protective
measures.
They
are
still
allowed
to
eat,
live
and
travel
together.
Halfway
through
the
trip,
a
considerable
number
of
people
in
the
group
developed
COVID-19
symptoms
including
headaches
and
coughs,
including
my
parents.
We
then
reported
it
to
the
company’s
customer
service.
It
was
not
until
late
at
night
on
the
6th
day
that
the
meal
sharing
system
was
announced,
and
the
tour
guides
issued
RAT
testing
reagents
urgently,
requiring
everyone
to
do
their
own
testing
and
report
the
test
results.
The
two
people
who
developed
COVID-19
symptoms
on
the
first
day
of
the
tour
and
several
others
who
subsequently
developed
symptoms
were
allowed
to
continue
with
the
tour
because
their
self-reported
test
results
were
negative.
My
parents
and
another
group
member
truthfully
reported
that
their
test
results
were
positive.
When
asked
by
the
company
to
leave
the
group
immediately,
they
must
quarantine
on
site
at
their
own
expense
or
purchase
a
flight
ticket
to
return.
Two
80-year-old
people
are
in
different
places,
have
language
barriers,
and
both
have
underlying
diseases.
We
had
no
other
choice
but
to
pay
for
a
return
ticket
out
of
our
own
pocket.
They
are
also
suspected
of
being
the
source
of
COVID-19
infection.
The
entire
responsibility
rests
with
our
guests.
I
will
simply
ignore
the
responsibilities
and
dereliction
of
duty
on
the
part
of
ASE
and
not
mention
them
here.
There
is
no
fairness
here.
After
much
discussion,
the
tour
guide
personally
sent
my
parents
to
the
airport
to
check
in
for
their
return
flight.
Saved
us
worries.
This
is
what
we
want
to
say
thank
you
for.
In
addition,
the
meal
arrangement
did
not
include
the
oysters,
seafood
and
lobster
flavors
mentioned
in
the
itinerary
quotation.
I
don’t
know
if
the
salmon
flavor
is
available
on
the
last
day,
because
my
parents
have
been
asked
to
withdraw
from
the
group.
