Love the store but find some staff are a really great and some are a bit dismissive. Overall I've had good experiences there which is why I've rated 4 stars but I do find some things a bit frustrating, such as if I'm there with my boyfriend the staff will talk to him rather than me even if I'm the one buying. It would be great to maybe get some more diversity in the team as it would hopefully encourage people from different backgrounds to get into games!

Games & Collectibles. The name says it all. A very narrow shop with every aisle and shelf full. There was a space in the back for table top gaming but I didn't want to disrupt the players so I didn't get a good look back there. I managed to pick up 2 Futurama blind box figures and much to my delight, they aren't repeats!

This store is truly overwhelming to walk into… The collection is simply breathtaking. Do not neglect to visit if you’re a collector of the weird and wonderful. From Warhammer to Star Wars… Marvel to bespoke Model kits and almost everything in between. Staff are super friendly and eager to assist as well ! If you do find yourself in the Auckland central business district, do not neglect a visit.

Awesome hobby shop. The crew here is super chill and nice. Group of us walked in and ask to start a MTG draft and the guys were awesome to help set it up on the fly.

Visited the store on Sunday, it was easy to find and the manager was super nice! I brought Ultra Pro and Dragon Shield boxes and some stands for my pc's. Will definitely go back, prices were affordable!

Went into Vagabond to check out the Gundam selection and stayed for 2 hours talking to the manager Kyle about every geeky nerd topic out there. Great store with an insane selection of hobbies and the staff live and breathe what they sell. Great stuff and incredibly friendly people.

Worst customer service I've ever received. Walked in and asked about pokemon cards. Got disinterested 1 word yes/no answers. No help at all. If you don't like talking to people maybe customer service isn't for you. Really nice store and probably would have bought somthing but the putrid attitude of the guy working there made me want to leave straight away. Lucky eb games is 50 metres away. I'll spend my money there instead.

Good range of 40k but lacking a bit on the aos counterpart. Great paint selection. Friendly staff. Prices are fair. Will definitely be coming back though.

Amazing customer service. They didn't have the item we wanted but the staff was very helpful and said they could get it instore for us within 2 weeks. Lots of cool stuff in there for everyone

Been going here for years. Staff are nice and the prices on the gundam kits / pokemon cards are great! The only issue i’ve run into is mainly just personal stuff. I over-heard a very odd conversation a year back about Hiroshima/mixed race dating, and as a half-Japanese person it made me a little uncomfortable whilst shopping. I also have had experience with 1 staff member acting a little weird to me but as of recently he’s been chill. I’m sure I might’ve just given off a bad vibe as I don’t talk much when I enter 🥲

Visited the store on a Friday night to ask about glue to repair my Gundam, storeperson Kyle looked at the damage and told me to come back with the parts so that he can personally repair it. Came back the next day and managed to repair my Gundam plus gave me helpful tips for the future. Overall 10/10 experience and friendly atmosphere

Minus 1 star Was given a cup as a gift and the picture on the cup has completely come of after 1 wash very very disappointed

This is one of the best shops of it's type I've been in. Most games and collectibles shops will have 2/3 of the range as Vagabond, but Vagabond has everything you could want under one roof. Best games shop in Auckland!

Quite a lot of good collections, but the customer service quality depends on who is on the shift. This one particular staff ignored me multiple times when I approached him. When I asked him about gundam markers he said in a very apathetic if not condescending tone: "gundam markers are gundam markers" and went to chat with another person cheerfully. It feels like he has no respect to customers at all. The second time I went and bought a gunpla set, and he doesn't even bother to say anything. Both times he has that bored expression like I am not worth his time. Seriously, this guy's attitude will drive any customers away, and I would recommend you to investigate this matter further. There is another staff who is quite helpful though, totally unlike the guy mentioned above. He helped me out with some particular sets and is friendly.

If you are into table top games and figurines for D&D, this is a must visit location. The staff are very knowledgeable, they drone on and on about everything you can image in geek culture... which is a good thing! LOL They also have a very good selection of model paints if you're into that.

Great shop for all hobby and collectible needs. It does carry all the usual suspects with 40k, AoS, Star Wars Legion as well as Pokemon, Magic, Flesh and Blood and Yu GI Oh and DnD! They also have regular game nights!

Online ordering is simple, with a great range and price point for Magic the Gathering products and accessories. Exceptional delivery process and timeframes - i reckon they must have some sort of teleportation device to get stuff processes, packed and delivered so quickly!

No stars and no customer service at all. Phoned the Auckland store to ask what time they opened today and was told it is iirrelavant as the store was open now. Asked again and was told I was out to make trouble. So stunned and confused at the bad attitude. Hung up and called the 0800 number, the same person answered with the same terrible phone manner and said I had accused them???? I only asked what time they opened. Did suggest they update their website. This was not the only time the site says store open and it was not.
