DISGUSTING COFFEE!! Had no other option on a Saturday morning (>8am), so went to try and have our morning coffee at Planet Espresso, and boy do we regret this decision!! We ordered two double-shot large cappuccinos with cinnamon and chocolate on top. The cappuccinos didn't have any smell of coffee, but on the contrary was very milky. It literally wasn't even froth well. There was no queue behind us as well for the guy to have done such a shody and rushed up job. Not recommended at all.

I am quite disappointed with the way the lady at the Greenlane Clinical Centre branch approach me when I claimed my free coffee (voucher) today. I was quite surprised that I have to be interrogated before I get my coffee. She asked questions like who gave the voucher to me, how did i get it, she also said she has not seen me in their store as much and have asked where do i usually get my coffee???? Due to the lockdown period and restrictions since March I have not had my regular coffee at Planet Espresso... And why do i have to be interrogated to get my free coffee??? Really??? That is so embarrassing. Lucky, I was the only customer at that time. I love your coffee so much but I am not going back there anymore. That lady needs to upgrade her customer service skills. Thank you very much!

Going to the hospital for tests is really scary but knowing that i can get a perfect coffee and see their smiles makes the trip so much better 😊😊😊 Give them a pay rise!!!! 😁😁😁😁

Just paid for a mocha... I was served warm milk with chocolate sprinkles. I ordered a mocha extra hot!!! Don't waste your money with level 5 coffee... the level 3 coffee shop serves you exactly what you ask for with a smile.

Throughout my five-day visit to the hospital, I purchased coffee every single day, and I observed the staff to be very friendly and quick to serve.

Best coffee in the area, also consistent between baristas. Speedy service and have excellent cabinet food, particularly the caramel slice. Always give me a choccy fish and marshmallows with my mocha which is a small but lovely bonus which is uncommon nowadays. The layout is a bit awkward though, it can be confusing to work out the flow of customers and whose ordered and who hasn’t sometimes as large groups can loiter in the way.

Located on Level 3 at Akl hospital check out the excellent coffee lab brew and excellent service from award winning barista Chisato San Tip. Try the ham cheese and tomato turkish bread. Yummmm

The quality of the coffee here is amazing. They're no doubt the best coffee vendor within proximity of Auckland Hospital. Not too chuffed $1 soy-milk surcharge! Checkout the Kapiti ice-cream snack-sized tubs they sell (this is premium NZ ice-cream!)

Arguably the best coffee in the hospital. The queue can be really-really long especially in the morning, and lunch time. Quite quiet in the afternoon. After their renovation, they are now also serves food to accompany your coffee. Staff members are friendly and attentive. Really worth the time to queue.

For the past few years I've used the Greenlane Hospital Planet Espresso site and it has been held together, I realise, by their now former barista, Michael, who left last week. He was awesome, such an asset - great personality, great camaraderie and he drew in the business. He also made the best coffee of them all. Such a loss - but best wishes to him in his new job. Michael's replacement has a lot to learn. The one coffee they have made for me was bitter, and lukewarm when I asked for xtra hot. A few of my colleagues have found the same. But all is not lost! Across the road newly opened Joe's Garage makes great coffee and provides even better muffins and scones (made in-house). Better still, the coffee, muffins & scones are cheaper! The staff are extremely personable. So, you know what to do.

Came by to catch up with a friend. Looks like you order first and then pay after you get your order. It was fairly busy. Had the hot chocolate and it was alright.

Best coffee. Planet Espresso has supported medical students and doctors getting through their work day at Auckland Hospital and Greenlane for generations haha. So lucky to have them at my workplace :)
