***DO NOT STAY HERE*** I booked a week stay at the motel (yes not hotel quality) and 4 hrs before checking in my booking was canceled. Was told 1. Your credit card didn't go through, 2. An accidental audit canceled it, 3. Your checkin appeared fraudulent so we canceled - all by different people at front desk. After they found a room for me, it was the worst Marriot property/room or place I have ever seen. Broken mirror, drawers broken (particle board), vent on wall fell down where air filter was black, tub in bathroom nozzle was turned sideways and not working, toilet top was sitting off and was black inside with mold, etc , and room smelt like urine. Called corporate Marriot and they informed front desk while I went to work. Tristan (worst mgr ever) stated nothing was his fault and blamed everything on me. Do not stay at this motel and stay at a $39.99 motel up the road for better service and nicer room. Also the breakfast was frozen Jimmy Dean sausage sandwiches and frozen burritos with no microwave. Went to get coffee in the am and it was from yesterday and almost puked. Marriott should audit this property and shut it down until better management is hired and rooms don't look like a frat party on Friday night. Stay clear away and I wish I could give this rating a 0 star or - 5 star.

Had and unexpected guest when we arrived to our room! Supposedly the guy was hotel staff. He had no name badge or uniform. We walked in and my wife was startled by the strange man in room(luckily I was there)he said he was straightening up bed and to come on in. He comes around the corner holding his pants up and introduce his self as the supervisor but doesn’t give a name. His gives us store about how he was fixing a loose screw and if we had any problems with screw to call front desk. The man didn’t have a screw driver!!! I go to front to desk to alarm them of the situation and the very nice front desk employee told me that he indeed work there and she would let the general manager know what happen. We received a call from Ivey Holmes General manager and she assured us that everything he did was in Marriott’s protocols. Marriott customers service representative beg to differ. So be careful at certain locations and make sure there are random strangers in your hotel rooms

I have been staying in this hotel for 7 months and love it. This is the best hotel in Augusta. Great location and the staff is amazing. It is a pleasure seeing Anita every afternoon. She is so helpful and pleasant.

Rooms were very nice, my children booked a suite, so we were able to have our privacy with my own room with bath and shower. It was very clean. Karen and Ebony made a variety of delicious breakfasts from awesome grits, and eggs, sausage. egg and cheese bagels, canadian bacon, egg and cheese egg muffin yogart, cereal, boiled eggs if you don't like scrambled and big muffins. Also at the front desk you have very friendly, most helpful Annita and another beautiful woman in the mornings, at the desk who greet you with smiles that are so welcoming after a trip.

Clean rooms, friendly service. Unfortunately Internet TV was not working properly, I reported it since day 1 but I was told they were working on it. I stayed for a week and that was never repaired. Other than that, everything was OK.

There was hair all over the shower and bathroom. I can't believe how much was missed when they cleaned it. Behind and under the bed and the carpet was pretty nasty as it looks like they rarely clean these areas.

Great staff. Manager Ivy was friendly and greeted us by our first names upon check-in and throughout stay. Facility was clean. Staff allowed early check-in which helped us get to scheduled events on time. We have stayed at this location multiple times and always have a pleasurable experience. Also utilized the on-site laundry facility which was a massive plus and the complimentary breakfast is always good..

Stayed here for several weeks and very much enjoyed the place. The breakfast was constantly different, there was always hot coffee available that they rotate out every few hours, and the staff was always pleasant and friendly. The lamp shade in my room was broken, as some of the other reviews pointed out, but for the cost, size of the room, and amenities, a lamp shade is negligible. Would recommend

Typical RI by Marriott. Has all the features you would expect. Location is a frontage road. Hot tub never worked while I was there, so call ahead on pool and whirlpool availability. Staff professional as expected. Common to see plenty of military personnel with Fort Gordon a few minutes away.

Everything was great except for my bed. Mattress needs to be replaced in 405. One side is very warn and sags.

My stay is always amazing. The rooms are always clean and the staff is polite and courteous. On my most recent stay I left my bag. I was so nervous but when I called Ahmed tried to keep me calm as Tristan the General manager located my bad. I am very impressed with the integrity of this company. Thank you. Ahmed, Tristan and Ebony. Great team!

Deborah is amazing. She is always quick with a smile followed by a pleasant greeting. She is a pleasure to be around for sure. She knows how to make my stays feel like home.

We had a tree fall through our roof several weeks ago. Our insurance company put us in this hotel until our house is fixed back to normal. The staff at this place are extremely nice. I have not had one complaint about anything……except maybe the size of the trash can…..but that is it. Being out of our home for so long has been extremely stressful, but they make us feel welcomed.

Great place to stay for the price 👌! Breakfast offered on site and close to various food options and shopping. Highly recommended.

The young Lady at the front desk was very nice, our room wasn't ready so we went to eat and she called to let us know it was ready.

The room we stayed in should have been repaired before giving it to a guest. While the bed was comfortable and the room was spacious, the hotel itself left a lot to be desired. The breakfasts are awful. I paid about $135 a night here, spending almost $2,000 during my stay here and it was not worth it. The gym is so tiny and the pool area felt dirty. The room was damaged. We felt that this was not worthy of a Marriot property at this price point. We stayed at a JW Marriot not too long ago and for only a little more the service, amenities, and experience was a hundred times better. If you’re looking for a place to stay for a while look elsewhere. I left a private review to the hotel and the manager emailed me apologizing and asking me to reconsider staying with them. I responded to him and did not receive a response. Disingenuous customer service in my opinion.

We had to switch rooms our first our our toilet was broken. Breakfast with Karen in the kitchen was great. She had fresh food each morning.

I didn't get a chance to stay here but I think Bonvoy members should know how this property treats its members. I had to cancel my reservation due to an inbound flight delay from Atlanta. I was surprised weeks later when I had a full cancelation charge on my expense account. I cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances and was still charged $214. This is an unfair policy to anyone but to a 20 year Bonvoy member this is unacceptable. I wont be staying at any Marriott property in Augusta going forward and I recommend anyone staying at this property to reserve with caution.

When I booked, this was the most expensive Marriott property in Augusta. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is the worst I've seen at any Marriott. Just microwaved sandwiches in their plastic bags. Marriott cut maid service. The trash cans are small so guests put their trash out in the hallway. Walking to your from from the elevator means dodging others' trash piles. My microwave isn't mounted level so the door slams shut whenever you open it. The dishwasher isn't screwed into anything and just wobbles around. The lamp by the bed looks like someone punched it. The front desk told me they knew about it and that I wouldn't be charged for the damage. The water flow in the shower is weak. Plan extra time if you have long hair. Getting hot water from any faucet takes like 2-3 minutes. Turn it on, walk away, come back. Wi-Fi signal was weak. Speeds were good, when I was in a part of the building with a good signal. Worst Marriott I've visited in the US, but the nicest hotel in Augusta! I already booked my room to come back next month.

I stayed here for a full consecutive year from AUG2021 - AUG2022 with my organization and I had a great experience with the staff, rooms, cleanliness, and food. I would like to take the time to thank Ivy and Anita for being so kind, accommodating and helpful, they are the perfect staff to represent Residence Inn. I want to thank the kitchen and cleaning staff as well for always greeting me throughout the day and their quality of work. Every single holiday the staff would thank us for our stay and leave cards in our room signed by all the staff. They also had bags of candy and other thoughtful stuff throughout the year for us which made being away from home much easier. Some of the people I am with had to depart to other locations briefly, but the staff made sure they would have a room when they got back and accommodated our constantly changing schedule. All of the amenities were functioning throughout our entire stay thanks to their engineers. If a washer or dryer went down, within a day or two it was fixed. I had a door battery die for my lock after hours and the engineer drove all the way from home to come here and fix it for me. Extremely nice of him and I appreciate him doing that since I had to depart early that morning and needed my room to be locked that day. I would come back and stay here again just to see the staff. I would 10/10 recommend this hotel to anyone considering staying in the Augusta area. It is in a central location, minutes from the highway but nicely insulated and quiet. I don't hear the other guests in their rooms and the rooms are spacious. All the rooms are equipped with dishes and cutlery complimented by a fridge, freezer, stove top / microwave. The TV rotates 360 degrees to allow you to watch TV from bed or from the huge computer desk. The dresser and nightstands have deep drawers that are hard to fill. I probably dumped 3 weeks' worth of clothes in them and still have room for more. The Mirror Closet is also big and comes with 10-12 hangers.

A hotel is nice to be alone across the local interstate highway and the shopping... centers. But the parking lots were almost full except the handicapped spaces, because (I saw) there were a party, event and/or conference on some weekend night.

The nicest hotel I have ever stayed at. Was there for a month. Service was extremely professional, rooms cleaned to perfection (even washed my dishes) and just a great updated decor. Breakfast was decent, they do serve hot breakfast sandwiches and burritos. The only complaint I have is that the internet is the slowest I have ever seen (1mbps upload and download). Luckily I use a hotspot so it didn't effect my stay much except when I wanted to watch internet TV on the television set (barely works). Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and will return. Highly recommended!

Only got one star due to it forcing me to select one otherwise they would have got none. This is the worst place we have ever been too. We were harassed by the GM, Ivy, and we were insulted by her the entire time we were there. We were using their meeting space for a professional meeting hoping that we would be working with professional staffing at the hotel, however, we were wrong. There was no professionalism nor kindness at that hotel from the sales depart or the general manager. Laura and Ivy are their names. I would not suggest using this hotel to anyone. They are rude, disrespectful and liars. The rooms were nice....but that doesn't out weight the treatment of the staff.

Modern and fairly clean hotel. The first think I noticed about our room was how fresh it smelled. All the staff we encountered were super helpful and friendly. Anita and ivy were especially helpful to us during our stay. I also greatly appreciate the housekeeping staff who so graciously brought us whatever we needed, even when my 2 year old suddenly fell ill and soiled two sets of linens. I felt embarrassed asking for more but the guy that came by was very friendly and helpful to us. Wish I’d gotten his name but he had braids like Travis Scott haha. Also the guy with the dorag was nice too. Breakfast was very lackluster. It was all grab and go items, some were heated but I like hot eggs and bacon or at least a waffle maker. The grab and go heated items were sometimes overdone or just didn’t taste that great.. We enjoyed the pool and enjoyed the customer service overall. That’s what honestly made our stay worth it for us. Would come back, just don’t get a room by the basketball court. Apparently people like to ball early in the am and it woke us up several times and we finally had to call front desk to tell the people to stop (it was like 4-5am). We had two toddlers sleeping I was not about to have all that nonsense. Other than that and the boring breakfast, it’s a great hotel.

The Residence Inn has truly been my home away from home. My stays at this hotel have ranged from 1night to 3 months at a time. The smiling faces of the staff tell me that they love what they do and operate daily in a stress free environment because it's also the feeling you get when walking in the building. The cool modern decor and spacious rooms combined with various sections of stylish seating for folks to gather and conversate gives me a warm feeling like the words "Brotherly Love" do when spoken. My work has moved me all around and my life has carried me out to some of the strangest places, but at least I can feel safe and relaxed thanks to the awesome Staff at this beautiful Residence Inn location! I know without question that whenever I need a place to stay in Augusta, I will feel just like I'm at home here. ☺️❤️
