Do
NOT
waste
your
time
and
risk
your
money
booking
accommodations
at
New
Market
Hotel
and
Suites.
We
declined
to
stay
after
checking
in
and
discovering
that
the
room
did
not
meet
our
expectations
based
on
the
price.
It
was
very
dated,
with
stained
sheets,
broken
hardware
on
the
dresser
and
nightstands,
and
a
worn
out
bathroom.
We
had
come
to
town
for
a
milestone
birthday
celebration,
and
were
disappointed,
so
I
requested
a
refund.
The
front
desk
agent
said
that
wouldnât
be
a
problem,
but
I
would
have
to
email
the
manager.
Knowing
we
would
have
to
find
another
hotel
for
the
night,
I
was
not
comfortable
leaving
without
a
refund
so
I
asked
him
to
call
the
manager
which
he
did.
I
should
preface
whatâs
to
come
with
the
fact
that
both
the
agent
and
the
manager
had
impeccable
customer
service
skills,
a
kind
manner,
and
appeared
to
be
trying
to
solve
the
problem.
Between
the
two
of
them,
however,
they
could
not
figure
out
how
to
reverse
the
charge.
I
waited
for
an
hour.
I
was
kind
and
patient,
but
firm.
I
called
merchant
services
myself,
and
still
they
could
not
manage
it.
While
I
was
in
front
of
them,
every
manual
behind
that
desk
came
out
as
they
searched
for
passwords
and
merchant
codes
which
they
never
seemed
to
be
able
to
locate.
Eventually,
I
left
without
my
money
and
called
the
manager
back
the
following
business
day.
I
was
told
that
after
I
had
left
the
hotel
the
charge
was
reversed
(odd?)
and
the
money
should
be
back
in
my
account
within
a
few
days.
I
had
a
hard
time
believing
this.
When
the
money
was
not
deposited
back
into
my
account
after
several
days,
I
called
again
and
asked
the
manager
to
call
their
merchant
services
again.
They
said
they
had,
and
that
it
should
just
take
a
few
more
days.
At
this
point,
I
had
to
get
my
bank
involved.
It
has
been
55
days
and
Iâve
yet
to
see
the
refund.
I
feel
sort
of
robbed,
definitely
lied
to,
and
manipulated
by
a
front
of
ânicenessâ
without
any
intention
of
solving
the
problem.
100%
unacceptable.
