You know it's a great Mexican restaurant when their beans and rice taste good! I love this place the food is amazing! So much flavor! My favorite dish are the chilaquiles! This place never disappoints me.

Not worth the wait. It took about an hour+ to receive our orders. I understand we we're a big party (18) but by the time everything came out some plates were already cold. We were seated in 3 different tables so they could've taken the food out per table instead of waiting for everything. The portions were poor for the price. My plate was super salty , the Trout was very small and too much rice to fill the rest of the plate. The cheeseburger was horrible. My kid loves cheeseburgers, he only took a bite. I tried it and honestly mcdonalds could've been better. The meat on the barbacoa torta was dry. Or maybe it was old? But definitely not worth it. The chicken plate also looked like a kids plate. A very small portion of chicken with beans and rice filling the rest of the plate. Very disappointed. (Wish I had taken pictures)

That fish was fantastic. I ate everything including some of the bones and one of the eyes. it was cooked all the way through. One of the best of dishes I've had in a Mexican restaurant. The food just said yum...

True authentic Mexican food. Their house margarita will probably get you screwed up after 1 or definitively after 2. Great place!

I'm giving this a 2 bc of the service. The food itself was very tasty and reasonably priced. I wasn't expecting the enchilada sauce to be a little spicy but other than, I have no complaints about the food. The service however is a different matter. When I walked in the host asked if I had carry out when I told her no I needed a table she acted like it was a chore to seat me (little eye roll and sigh). My waiter brought me the wrong drink and only checked on me once. He took my glass to refill and never came back. When I did finish my food I sat there with my napkin on my plate ready for the check for almost 10 minutes. I could understand if the place was crowded but there weren't many people there at all. When I asked if I needed to pay him or the girl up front he said he would take it. When he walked away with my card he rolled his eyes. I suggest carry out if you really want to eat here until they hire new servers and a new hostess. I won't be back.

The staff was nice. The way the restaurant looked was ok. Prices are around 13 or more per plate. I think they should have better tacos asada/pastor choices. They have a tacos meal which is around 13.50.. but no cheap taco options.

Ordered chili cheese fries with steak, received them with only cheese, took it back to ask for chili i had to pay an additional $2.50 for chili the server INSISTED that’s how they come with just cheese like wth.. at that point I’m confused why their menu says chili cheese fries when it’s just cheese fries… so almost $15 for some asada fries 🥴 and the chili was bland I’ll DEF PASS on this and never come here again. Rip off

Found this place online. Not too busy for lunch on a Monday. Really fast service. Excellent food! Will definitely go back

Great for what it is: a quick and dirty hole in the wall Mexican joint. Good margs, tasty chips and salsa, delicious crispy chili relleno. Service left a little to be desired - quick to seat and then just leave you sitting… otherwise a decent little spot.

Following a medical procedure in which I had to fast for 36 hours prior, we found La Costa. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and the gent who was our server was attentive, professional, and friendly. I had the Mexican steak and it was amazing. So was the frozen ice cream. We didn’t realize we stayed after the place closed, and the staff never acted like they were trying to push us out. Everything was top notch. And it’s less than ten minutes driving from the Aurora VA Regional Medical Center.

When we use to live in Denver this is the spot mom and I would go for m/d day. Margaritas on point and the food out of this world. Great seeing Ruth the owner. We do our best to dine when in town. Great atmosphere. First date appeal and family oriented.

Don’t come here! Rude and slow people work here. Good is overpriced and they have small and terrible portioned size food. This place reeks as well.

I bought a breakfast burrito to go that was supposed to be filled with egg, potato, and cheese. The wrapping on it stated as such as well. When I bit into it, it was filled with nothing but beans. Ridiculous and tasted terrible. Biggest waste of $4.19 I've ever had.
