AB was amazing and made me feel very welcome. This is my first time trying any African food and it was incredible. The Fataya is wonderful, and they’ll give you a variety plate so you can get a taste for all the different meats. The juice is amazing as well, I’ve never tasted anything like it!

AB is in the real deal. Came to Austin and never expected to be eating African food. First he is a amazing person. Food speaks for itself. AMAZING. Take my word for it. He is located right next to Westin Hotel Downtown.. Thanks AB for the great experience and talk we had. See you soon.

Amazing food. Seriously amazing I haven’t gone back yet but I’ve been thinking about the plate I had for the past couple of weeks when I get hungry. Got the spicy wings with plantains & fries… LOVED every bite, the spicy sauce was amazing I don’t think words do the taste justice the food was just 🔥 it was actually spicy just like I like, the pricing for the portions are perfect, so happy to spend my money on good food that makes me feel good afterwards! The interaction with the man I assume was the manager was all good vibes, very nice and welcoming and informative when we asked about what to get. I hope I can make it back again soon. Don’t think twice if you see this truck grab a bite ! OH AND THE DRINKS!!! The drinks are so refreshing TRULY refreshing and just makes me feel happy? Don’t know how to say it but that’s the best I can describe it… good stuff!

Everything was delicious. We had wings and fries and chicken and beef empanadas. Hibiscus drink was soft and sweet, ginger drink was spicy and intense. Super sweet service. I'll be back.

The fataya is some of the best food I’ve ever tasted. You can skip on the wings & fries and just get 2 fatayas. Like an empanada but better.

AB has a spectacular food truck that brings West African flavors to the heart of Austin, Texas. The fatayas (empanadas) were crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. The bisapma is akin to a jamaica and was one of the best drinks this diner has had in recent memory. Tchiadai is a must-try for anyone within the Austin vicinity!

I went here sober and I still enjoyed the food! I’ve never had west African food and this was a great introduction. The hibiscus drink was sweet and like nothing I’ve had before. I had plantains with chicken and I loved it. Sweet and spicy. The owner was very friendly too.
