😠 They treat my mother like she were a thief even though it’s their first time meeting my mother. I scheduled a yoga sculpt class tonight at 7:30 pm and I brought my mom to the studio because I don't want to leave her home alone. I told the teacher to have her wait in the lobby and my mom will sit on... People often mention studio, mother, yoga, class,

They treat my mother like she were a thief even though it’s their first time meeting my mother. I scheduled a yoga sculpt class tonight at 7:30 pm and I brought my mom to the studio because I don't want to leave her home alone. I told the teacher to have her wait in the lobby and my mom will sit on the sofa and wait for me. The teacher asked my mom to either wait outside or take a class in studio. My mother is not interested in Yoga. The class is one hour and it is chill outside and we just had dinner it doesn't make sense to send her to a restaurant. I ended up quit the class and drive my mother home. My main complaint is to find out why my mother can't sit on the sofa and wait an hour while I am taking the class. My white husband used to sit there and wait for me and everything was fine. Is there anything they particularly not like about my Asian mother. If you are not allowing people sitting on the sofa, what’s the point of having a sofa in the studio? If you are so worried about people stealing stuff from the front desk, why don’t you assign someone at front desk or simply install a camera? I am very disappointment!

I signed up for the two free weeks and was not told that it would automatically enroll me in a membership after that. I just noticed on my credit card statement that I've been getting charged $169/month for the past few months and called the Monarch studio to ask for a refund since I haven't been back in since my first two weeks was up. They said they will only offer me half of my money back. The man I spoke to who was "the highest up" was not helpful at all and just kept reading me their policy about how he can only offer me half of my money refunded, even after admitting that when maybe I wasn't told about the membership when I signed up. Definitely won't be going to CorePower again because of this. There are plenty of other studios that actually practice what they preach and are compassionate human beings. Charging me $676 for not even stepping foot in your studio during that time period and only offering me half my money back is an insult.

The teachers were all very nice but the studio was pretty gross. My first day there I noticed some bugs on the studio floor and then a few days later a giant cockroach was walking around the studio floor. Nothing can ruin the mood more than laying on your yoga mat trying to relax and a cockroach walking right by your body. Gross! I will not be going back.

They need to clearly indicate when a course is heated. People have health conditions and it's dangerous. And if someone needs to leave because the heat is too much for their health condition, the front desk person should be compassionate and not make one feel embarrassed for stepping out.

Not enough locker space and the studio smells like sweet treats from the venue that is right next door. Really hard to focus and enjoy a class with that weird overpowering smell. Not sure if I’ll be coming back.

Second time at corepower yoga, and this second time was really nice. Karen I think was the teacher, and the sequence was wonderful. She made you feel welcome when you walked through the door as well.

I love practicing with corepower yoga. But big red flag: they do not filter out people who are sick (actively coughing)- I went three days ago, someone was coughing nonstop, in such an enclosed space, it's putting everyone in the studio at risk. The next day, the person who was coughing was there again, I got sick afterwards as well. Now I can't go do my daily yoga and am coughing nonstop, having fevers, feeling weak. I feel like yoga studios are for people to get healthier physically and mindfully, isn't it an irony that i actually got sick after going. I might not be the only one that's sick. I think the staff needs to be bold enough to tell someone who is sick (e.g. coughing) to go home and rest. I know that can be uncomfortable, but it's worth it.

Amazing place to visit and get a great workout. Joel is a strong sculpt instructor who will definitely make you sweat. Facilities are great and parking is fairly abundant around the surrounding area.

They have an extensive amount of mold in the showers. For a place that is big on health and wellness, you think they would address this. I have asked about it before a few times and nobody has done anything about it.

I love their classes, but the standout thing is the instructors at this studio. They are all so nice and welcoming and genuine. I always feel free to modify without judgement. They don’t pressure you to do poses a certain way or make you feel like you’re not doing enough. It feels like friends guiding me through a practice (not a judgemental teacher) which is exactly what I wanted!!! Also very clean and I love that they have large towels!
