It was a very surprising visit to say the least. Pulling into the parking lot I was very skeptical of I would enjoy this experience. Once inside, I was amazed! They pack a LOT of things into the space. Sea life, ringtail lemurs, lizards, turtles, fish and birds! A few highlights were petting the rays which love people and paying to spend 15 minutes or so petting lemurs. Very friendly staff and such a great time! Will definitely be back!

This aquarium might be small, but boy is it mighty. We did about 3 laps around the building. We payed for some tokens, but too many tokens gets pricey QUICK. We loved getting to see all the different lemurs, and getting to pet and feed the penguins. Overall it’s a great interactive aquarium/zoo. You can get up close and personal with every single animal in the building. My little one loved that!!

We felt like we were in the wrong place because the front looks like part of a strip mall. Once inside, we were pleasantly surprised. It's a mixture of zoo and aquarium animals. They really push the tokens for feeding the animals to make it more interactive. There was a small concession stand area and play place which the kids loved.

This is a cool little place to go. The animal encounters they have a re so cool. They even have a few animals they will bring out for you to hold or touch. The snack bar needs a little help. The pizza wasn't available for over an hour after opening, the nacho cheese was ice cold. But with that, the rest of the options was really good.

Had an amazing time here! It's smaller than other aquariums, but much more interactive. There is a huge selection of animal/sea life from all over that you can actually interact with. They sell tokens in addition to the admission price that are used for animal interactions such as feeding the stingrays and birds, getting balloon animals and going into the animal exhibits. They have a small cafe with drinks and snacks. Parking is free and you can be in and out in a little over an hour. It was a great experience and we'll be back!

This Aquarium was definitely a getaway. We didn't feel like we were in Austin anymore. The animals and reptiles were awesome. My boys loves the Stingrays and the Birds. There is plenty to do there. There are birds that's fly around and greet you. 9

EDITED REVIEW: AFTER SPEAKING TO AUSTIN LOCALS, THE AQUARIUM HAS HAD MULTIPLE VIOLATIONS WITH PETA. Spend your money, but not with them ♥️ The Austin Aquarium is small but cute, lots of animals there & would be great for kids. As a adult, I question some of the tanks & crowding of animals. Many of the animals can be touched and seem sluggish- which is a little disheartening. No staff attendants are present at the touch experiences & I really wish they would be there to ensure kids aren’t being disrespectful. Overall, fun way to spend an hour while visiting & see some cool animals up close, but be aware of the unpleasant smell throughout the aquarium. P.S. to Aquariums SM team: It would be cool if the Aquarium would put the ages/names of the animals in the exhibits!

Visited here with my family and it was an awesome experience. Educators get in for FREE so that’s a bonus. The place was clean and the staff was very friendly. They have experiences where you can walk into the enclosure and get an up close experience with some of the animals. I played with a parrot that flew and landed on my shoulder, how cool! I definitely recommend you bringing your family to check out this place. They even allow birthday parties too for those kiddos who love animals.

I brought my one year old here with no expectations and I was blown away! It was very interactive! I love the feeding token idea! Coming into the cages where birds were flying and Iguanas were was just great! My one year old loved the different birds. Definitely will be returning here

This is a fun little place to have an outing with your kids, or even just to enjoy with a significant other. There are plenty of aquarium displays, but there are more bird and mammal displays that are interactive and really good for the critters and the customers. I would recommend it to anyone...budget an hour or so and you'll be able to really enjoy the whole place.

Very ghetto but VERY fun. If you wanna impress a girl with your lemur social skills look no further. The fish were cool too I guess.... But the lemurs were definitely the best part. Didn't know lemurs belonged in an aquarium, but they can be fish too if they want :-)

The thing I liked the most was that this location was very hands on. You could basically almost touch all of the animals. You should buy tokens before visiting the exhibits to feed the animals ( if you want) otherwise you'll have to go back out to get them. The location was strange as it was located inside a shopping center. It's a small aquarium but still enjoyable.

We only had an hour to visit and to tour everything from start to finish was just enough time. One of our food cups came out of the machine empty, but the staff member was able to replace it with no issues. It didn't seem like as many animals there as a few years ago, but with covid, things may have changed significantly. It's still a nice place to visit with family/kids.

We were definitely questioning if this would be worth it when we saw this in a shopping mall but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff is around to give info and help do the interactive part. There are lots of animals to be able to feed and feel. The caricature artist was so nice. We felt like it was a little on the expensive side to get tokens to do any “interacting” after paying $75 for 4 to get in but other then that this was a fun stop for our family.

I cannot say enough awesome things about this place. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, friendly, helpful, and all around fantastic. The critters are well loved and you can tell. All precautions were adamantly maintained. We held lemurs y'all. Lemurs. Anytime I come back this will be on the visit list. Four hours felt like five minutes.

The aquarium was a nice blend of hands on and visual. As a reef enthusiast, i was a bit disappointed with that aspect of the aquarium. However, my daughter had a blast feeding the turtles and the sting rays. The place is showing some age and wear. Overall its worth a visit.

This place is nothing to look at from the outside. I was not even thinking of going on our recent trip, but so glad we went! This place had way more than I ever expected. My kids had a blast. The best part was they were able to actually touch a lot of the animals! My daughter's absolute favorite part was when Queen Elsa was there to give her a sparkly mermaid tattoo and then she was able to have her makeup done and sparkles added to her hair by another beautiful princess. My son really enjoyed the virtual reality ride. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town!

My boyfriend & I decided to go & we had so much fun! The outside definitely looks questionable but once inside it was great! The staff is very knowledgeable about all animals & were more than happy to answer any questions about them. We paid for token to feed some of the fish and sharks but that’s optional. Most of the fish & animals you could pet or feed them (you pay extra). They have a small concession stand inside for snacks too. Overall a fun experience and a fairly inexpensive way to spend a Saturday! 10/10

Two adults, no kids- perfect date- Great place to visit during the week- NOT crowded. Easy to pace yourself. LOTS to see- signage and tanks are well kept, and clean. Worth the money. We didn’t opt to buy tokens but you can and you use them to buy food for certain animals. I read that if you wanna touch the sloth you have to make reservations before you buy your tickets. Most areas are wheelchair friendly except the cutouts you place your face through, the octopus enclosure, and one side of one aquarium that allows you to duck and crawl closer to the tank. I did not have to climb stairs, step over any raised surfaces, and the entire experience is all on the ground level. There are hand washing sinks to wash your hands after you touch certain exhibits. We used the photo booth but wouldn’t recommend until the get their printer/ink issue resolved. It also felt wobbly inside -like it would fall. There’s a decent gift shop at the end that have some fun souvenirs.

One of the only aquariums that allow you to touch and interact with the animals. Kids loved it. Not super big but enough of a variety for the kids to see. Some of the interactions costs too much and didn’t find the worth in doing it.

Absolutely incredible place to visit! Many interaction opportunities, the staff are all well educated and very friendly! Our favorite moment of the day was getting to hang out with Brandi and Sid the Sloth! They were both amazing and really made the visit special! I would come back here a thousand times more just to feed the parakeets! Awesome place with awesome animals and experiences for a really great price! 100% recommend! Also, Sid you are the most beautiful boy, I hope to see you again!

An incredible place to visit to interact with animals, fish and exotic birds. I was able to feed and touch 3 different penguins, pet a boa, a black and white lemur and two toucans. It is small but well taken care of. A memory that I will always cherish. The staff and animal handlers were friendly and informative.

Wow! I went with my husband and best friend for a day of fun things, which included our first visit to the Austin Aquarium. We were already very pleased with how happy and well-socialized the animals seemed, and the variety considering how relatively small the building is! I was grabbing a sloth souvenir for my sloth-loving mom as we were leaving, and educator Ryan asked in passing if we were sloth fans. I told him it was for my mom and mentioned that we’d looked in on the sloth but didn’t see him, and he said he had some time to show us Sid! Ryan was so frickin’ friendly and knowledgeable, and passion practically oozed from him as he told the three of us a BUNCH of information about sloths, training, and sloth conservation as we stood in Sid’s enclosure for almost half an hour. He absolutely turned our pleasant visit into an unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful for him!

This place has been steadily getting better over time. Has some nice salt water aquariums and lots of opportunity for kids to interact with the animals. The gift store has some good options for kids. There is a snack bar but I’d suggest you have alternate plans. It’s about a 1 hour visit.

I would recommend austin aquarium to anyone visiting the area! It is Small but that's what makes it so great! The amount of love, care, and knowledge of all the animals by all of the staff was so impressive. The encounters will give you lasting memories and you learn so much! Ryan went over and beyond throughout our entire visit to make our visit an awesome experience! We ended our visit with a visit with Ryan and Sid the sloth. Ryan's knowledge, passion, and love for Sid is nothing but amazing and heart warming. It is hard to find a place that 3 college age kids all enjoy but this place was the place and they knocked it out of the park! We will definitely be back!

Had a wonderful time at the Austin Aquarium with my family. There's so much to do in there, whether it's feeding the fish, touching the birds, or petting the lemurs. It's a great outing with the family. The prices wouldn't be so bad if the tokens weren't so expensive 🤯. That is really the one downfall for me was how expensive those tokens were. Be smart and save your tokens for next time if you don't use them all! 💯

I highly recommend checking this place out!My best friend and I went right when they opened and I was blown away with how much I learned from the staff. Brandi, Tim and Ryan were exceptionally knowledgeable about all the animals and it was obvious their staff is very passionate about what they do. I can't wait to bring my boys here to have the same wonderful experience I had. FYI, if you have a cat you won't be able to visit with the lemurs and wallabies!

We visited here with our grandson, who's 3 and a half. The price is a little steep for how small the place is. Plus you have to pay extra for tokens, to do some of the activities. It was also very crowded on the weekend. That said, it wasn't too bad overall. There are several spots where you can feed the sea life. The large goldfish ate a lot; the sharks didn't. There's not a huge variety of sea creatures. There are several enclosures to visit (birds, lemurs). And a small area for kids under 6 to play. We went through in a little over an hour. The staff was very friendly.

I even bought a annual pass for my family and I never do that. Plus there are 2 other locations. And I plan on taking my tiny family all year round to all 3. Love this place. My family really liked this aquarium! It is a little bit smaller than we were expecting but this is also the most interactive aquarium we have ever been too. The aquarium itself is in an old store and the GPS was able to guide us easily. I would have liked for it to be a little easier to find an employee to help us with the exhibits that require us to find an employee to interact. They all seemed so busy that I felt like if I had asked something of them, I would have been a burden. So I didn't ask for help with those exhibits even though I really wanted to interact with the toucans.. I realize that they have things to do and animals that need care but maybe have just one person talk to us or ask us if we would like help with any of the exhibits. All in all though it was fun for the kids and made a good day.

I found the Austin Aquarium online after looking for sloth encounters for my boyfriend who loves sloths. I read the reviews so I was prepared for the strip mall look on the outside. Once inside we were greeted by the sounds of birds and ring tail lemurs hanging out in their enclosures. We checked in smoothly and we're greeted by Ryan not long after. He was full of so much information and passion! While we waited for our turn to meet Sid the Sloth we toured the building. The fish were so beautiful and the rays like water puppies! We saw lizards, a capybara, birds of all sorts, and even watched an otter show! Me and my sister got to greet beautiful birds and pet ruff lemurs and then, after some waiting, we got to meet Sid! Ryan was again so full of passion and love for his sloth friend. My boyfriend got to pet and even feed Sid while me and my sister ate up all the vast information provided to us. Who knew sloths were 3 times stronger than humans! Definitely made some memories here and highly recommend this aquarium as the staff truly care about their animals.

Very mid. They have some different fish. A snake. Some birds. 3 types of Lemurs. The staff were either very nice and helpful or didn't seem knowledgeable or trained properly. They said they were short-handed. But if anything, lots of folks are just doing busy things, but paying attention to guests is not a high priority. They had different crews that did different assignments. But there was much waiting and no follow-up on customer inquiries. Several late age teens and college age employees. Polite employees but lack of knowledge and organization. The ticket price was $25 before tax- in this economy? Around 6 rooms total, including the gift shop. Small and crowded, especially on a weekday. It was our group of 15 with 2 other groups of 15. We were not on a field trip. Imagine 45 people and being super crowded in a building that is an interactive aquarium/mini zoo. Don't add a stroller or a wheelchair 😒 The exhibits were not bad. You could see the animals closer than a zoo. It was just very limited and small in every sense of the word.

It's located in a strip mall, and the outside looks very outdated. We went during the week on a school day, and there was a field trip going on. I was told during the school year that they have a lot of field trips, so we had to wait in between sections where we can quickly go take a look before the next class comes in. We didn't really get to enjoy the full experience, but it's a super cute and nice size aquarium.

This place was amazing, if we lived closer I'd go pretty often, the kids loved it, the adults loved it, there's something for everyone here. The wide variety of animals is great, and the staff are very welcoming and are right there for any and all questions. When you go to buy tokens for the animal feedings and encounters, buy a few more than you were going to, it is a lot of fun feeding the different fish, and the encounters are amazing. The porcupine is an absolute must, he is the most adorable guy you'll ever see hanging around, you'll get a few nuts or pieces of fruit in your hand, and he will take your hand in his front paws, bring it up to his mouth, and gently make sure there's not a scrap of food left, and make you just want to hug him afterwards (definitely not suggested though). We had a wonderful time, were able to have a pretty extensive private like tour with one of their best, knew just about everything about all the animals there, if we are ever back in Texas I am definitely coming back here.

I liked it. It was so cool there. I love seeing all the animals there. The only down side is that it costs too much for the tokens to interact with some of the animals and to get in cost too much. For two adults and one child cost 129 Probably won't be going back.

Extremely surprised how interactive the visit was! My friend and I got to pet a lot of the animals as well as feed them! There are tokens for purchase to feed animals, but most of the exhibits were free so you don’t have to break the bank to enjoy! All the employees truly care about the animals and making everyones experience so much fun. The employees are knowledgeable about the animals too! Ryan was an employee who showed us Louie the crocodile! Such a fun experience! Highly recommend!

Nice place. I liked that many animals you were encouraged to pet. My only issue is price. It’s VERY expensive for what you see. We enjoyed ourselves but were there only about 30 minutes and that was including gift shop. I know maintaining animals is expensive, but just be warned, if cost is a factor. Staff are very nice.

We have an an aquarium very similar in San Antonio that I've been too, but the Austin Aquarium feels about half the size. Being two adults, my wife and I walked through in a half hour. Despite the smaller size there was still a wide assortment of animals from birds, to sharks, and Lemurs. The place has a lot of animals you can touch for free and then a number you can pay to touch and feed. Despite being pricy, it's very unique and awesome in that sense.

  • 5/5 Matt L. 3 years ago on Google
This place is fantastic for kids. It's the most interactive aquarium we've taken our kids too. They can touch and interact with almost all of the animals. So much better than the Dallas Aquarium for young kids as everything is right at their fingertips. The prices are also really great. Teacher's are free with their ID and kids under 3 are free as well. They offer special discounts for military, too. They have a little climbing area for kids with a super fast slide for them to play on. Make sure to buy some tokens to feed the animals. It makes the experience so much better!

  • 5/5 The Keith Lee C. 3 years ago on Google
Not a huge place but definitely worth the more intimate experiences with the animals compared to the bigger aquariums. The birds, stingrays, fish, lemurs, abs all the other animals were in close proximity to touch with plenty of staff to accommodate everyone. Definitely recommend!

  • 5/5 Jennifer D. 3 years ago on Google
The Austin Aquarium is one of the coolest aquariums I've ever been too... There's not just dress life here, but an array of small and exotic animals. The best part about the place is you can just about touch all of them... Which also means that they're fairly free for the most part. The first time I visited the entry way was full of parrots flying freely from shoulder to shoulder of the workers. It's first that they love their animals and their animals love them.

Three places you have to go if you visit Austin. Terra Toys, Nature's Treasures Texas, and this place. I thought I was going to see some fish. Seconds after walking in, a friendly bird lands on my shoulder and starts grooming me. This place is small, but very interactive with different animals. A delight for young and old alike. Some pirate goodness as well.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. It is very sketchy and ratchet- The tiny enclosures and miserable creatures will leave you scarred. They have zoo-like animals in enclosures smaller than the truck of your car. It made me sick and I had to leave. If you're an animal lover- this place is not for you. My friends and I couldnt believe our eyes and felt guilty for even buying a ticket after seeing the conditions the animals were in.

A good place to spend sometime with animals. Need a little more maintenance. Exciting place for kids. The display screens should be fixed as soon as possible.

We love this aquarium! It’s not very big, but it is the perfect size! Very interactive; there is food for many of the exhibits. My kids are a little older; age 11 and 13. They both loved it!

Not worth the price! Please do not waste your money. Too expensive for the few animals in there! Not enough things to do for the kids. Again not worth it!

Overpriced admission and tokens for this small "aquarium"...more like a pet store. We enjoyed feeding the stingrays and kois though.

This place is dark and dirty. We’ve been twice, and it’s fine enough to keep a young kid interested for an hour or two, but it’s expensive for what it is. I’m shocked to see it’s so highly rated...

This place was so much fun, especially for the kiddos. If you want to feel like the pigeon lady from Home Alone when he is walking through Central Park then you have to try the bird cage!

A really cool place. We live in San Antonio and had been to that location several times and wanted to try this one out while we were in town. It's a lot of fun. Great animal interaction. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely recommend getting a family pass. The kids will want to come again and again (and probably the adults too!)

This was surprisingly well tailored to the kids. The whole place is playing Disney songs everywhere you go. They have a nice gift shop. Petting sea life was fascinating even for me. We fed otters, pet turtles, pet stingray... It was a really great time for the kids. You have to pay extra to feed the animals, which was fine but we weren't prepared for the additional 30 dollars for 10 tokens to feed. We paid for it anyways, but it wasn't very much and some animals cost more than 1 token, like the octopus cost 3 tokens and sitting down with monkeys was like 6 tokens per person... So if you're wanting to experience everything, be prepared to cough up about 50 extra per child. With that being said, my kids, who are toddlers were completely fine with just a few feedings (15 dollars a piece) and a gift from the gift shop. In total with tickets, tokens and gifts, we spent 120. I would go again.

The ability to interact with the animals was a great experience. I was amazed at how interactive this place is. The staff was very friendly. They appear to need assistance with keeping up with the glass on some of the tanks. I think some people get into the interaction and can't resist touching all the glass too ;). They have opportunities to volunteer and I am looking forward to spending some time there to help them. What a great way to spend a day or at least part of one helping make a difference for the children's experience.

Dirty and sad. No better way to explain it. Watched an unsupervised turtle walk into the gift shop with a balloon tied around it and a kid trying to ride it. Can’t make this up... animal cruelty at its finest. We got out as fast as possible.

  • 4/5 Mindy V. 3 years ago on Google
We enjoyed ourselves, bought the tickets ahead and we also bought tokens which are a little pricey. It was very warm throughout the exhibit but we know it's for the animals and fish. Lemur interaction was a blast for my son!

  • 4/5 Courtney L. 3 years ago on Google
Much nicer than when I went when they first opened however, be prepared to drop A LOT of money on tokens if your kids want to do things.

  • 4/5 Sckethia B. 3 years ago on Google
Great family attraction. I really liked the interactive exhibits. You can almost touch and feed everything there. There was a line but we got through fairly quick. My daughter loved the mermaids. Variety of animals to include birds, and some small mammals.

What a great little aquarium! It is not very big, but has lots of animal interactions! We had a great experience and even sprung for 40 extra tokens to be able to have an encounter with Sid the Sloth and his trainer! Such a wonderful and educational experience! It is a bit pricey and the tokens do cost extra to be able to interact with the animals. So, keep that in mind. If live in the area you can do the annual pass which comes with tokens and free future passes as well as access to the aquariums in Houston and San Antonio.

  • 5/5 Stephen J. 2 years ago on Google
The term 'aquarium' is a little misleading since there are birds and reptiles here. It's not a deal breaker or anything, I would say that it was a pleasant surprise. My 2yo daughter loves this place and asks to go all the time. Being able to interact with the animals and to be able to feed the birds is awesome. After a few visits, we decided to get the annual pass. Totally worth it if you plan to visit often.

Did not expect such a diverse group of animals in a strip mall aquarium. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. Animal enclosures looked nice for the animals. Lovely for all ages.

First time visit. Price was a shocker but we did the one year membership. Staff were masks less or mask free. Nice to see smiling faces. Bathrooms were very clean and smelled nice. We did not get the fishy smell as expected since it is an aquarium because my son and I were wearing masks. Staff were very friendly. Pizza was warm. Good variety of animals. Great lighting and cool colors. Areas were all kid friendly with lots of places to wash hands. The play area can do with some repairs and upgrade. Sanitizing the areas and keypads touched frequently would also be nice as I did not see that being done like the Virtual chairs and head piece. Looking forward to visiting again!

The aquarium was really nice. It wasn't that big but very suitable for the price. The staff are super nice, I also love the fact you can pet the animals and they also have walkin cages so u can see and feed the animals.

So much hands on fun for the whole family! The staff was kind and seem to really know and care for their animals. From carrying a boa for dad and an indoor playscape for our toddler they really have so much for all ages to enjoy. My sensory sensitive child told me he wasn't going to feed anything and was nervous about the whole thing but he ended up feeding otters, sting rays and best of all went into the walk in the bird cage and fed them (a priceless wonder for us to see him enjoy!) Worth every penny. What a gem of a place to have in Austin!

Honestly really cool that Austin has an aquarium, no where near the Shedaquarium in Chicago but it has its charms including a capybara and lemurs.

  • 3/5 Grandma T. 2 years ago on Google
Grandma here to give you another review. So I took my grandson to the aquarium yesterday and it was okay just okay if you have nothing better to do I would suggest go walk around the aquarium. Don't get me wrong grandma had a good time so did grandbaby. But they do have a lot of the same fish not a whole lot of variety so if you've got nothing else better to do head on over to the aquarium you might find yourself a little entertainment. But if you do go over there don't forget to tell them Grandma Texas said hi y'all

***** Amazing customer service ***** We have been to the Austin Aquarium quite a few times and we always enjoy our visit! Today we took our 6yo to the Aquarium, and we all had a blast feeding the sting rays, birds, fishes, gave a snack to the otters and even got to feed Sid the sloth with the help of Ryan. We got to learn so much about these beautiful creatures! He has such an admirable patience and knowledge! Today was definitely a day to remember!! It's so heartwarming to see good people like them taking good care of all these beautiful animals and give them so much love!!!!! I can't recommend this place enough!!!! ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

First thing to note is how you can touch and pet and interact with animals—sharks, rays, small to big birds, tortoises, the fluffiest chickens, a few starfishes and anemone, and some reptiles! You can even feed most of them too, which is a fun experience as they were all so gentle. Some suggestions i'd like to say are clear signs about which ones could be pet. We didn't want to assume all of the animals were okay with petting unless stated otherwise. Some of the signs have faded and having some more would be helpful. We sometimes waited to see if others would interact with the animals.

The place is on the smaller side and weird location for an aquarium but it’s probably one of the best aquarium experiences I have had. The interactive part obviously being the best part. Definitely very unique experience and fair pricing for what it is. They have an option to purchase tokens to use to buy food to feed at each exhibit and all animals are part of the interactive experience. We even got to do the fish pedicure. Staff is also very friendly.

Decided to have a little day out fun. My daughter and her husband have been to the San Antonio location and apparently that location is far better than this one. First off it was humid and warm in there, so we were noticeably uncomfortable the 3 hours we visited. There seemed to be many areas either under construction, or the animals were absent. The octopus had just laid eggs so she was dying which was pretty sad. It was pretty fun to touch the animals. The birds flying around was a bit unnerving as one swooped past my head and I had to duck! The capybara did not look pleased to be there. Felt bad for it. I dont know when I heard about incredible S.A. location is its almost like its not the same company that runs them. It was cool but honestly I could've and should've thought of a better way to spend 100 bucks and 3 hours. It has potential but next time we're going to SA

Wonderful find in Austin! It's in a strip mall, so you don't think it's going to be anything special but it was the most interactive animal experience we have ever seen! We loved every minute! You have to buy tokens to interact with the animals but it would have been fun with or without.

Awesome location! The staff was super nice and very informative and knowledgeable on all the animals. Big shout out to Vonnie for making our experience a great first experience 😁 she was very patient with my daughter and explained everything with a smile! She even made sure we were able to get a few good pictures for memories! Thank you again to all the staff for a great experience, will definitely recommend and come back to spend more money here.

I had such a phenomenal time here! This was my first ever aquarium and I couldn't have been more happy. The animals were so adorable, and had such personality! The animals were also so well cared for and the staff ensured the animals were comfortable the entire time. The staff was phenomenal, everyone was friendly and genuinely kind. Anna was the staff member we interacted with the most and she was amazing! She was talkative (in the best way!), sweet, and very informative. She told us so much about the lemurs and their personalities. I absolutely adored how helpful and awesome she was! Brittany (hope I spelled that right) was also another staff member who was amazing. She was super kind and friendly, even talking to us about the penguins while she was cleaning up. It was great! There were quite a few other staff members who were awesome, including a couple of people at the front desk and a guy who was a manager/supervisor. This was towards the beginning of the trip so my mind slipped their names, but they were awesome as well! I definitely plan to come back ASAP, this place is amazing.

The environment is a clean and well-lit ambience…. The staff is very friendly and they do not suffocate the visitor. The encounters were informative and virtually privatized. Emma was patient, kind and succinctly knowledgeable, especially after repeating to numerous customers—it was still very personable with a high-level of professionalism….. we will be bak, since the service and experience was worth us getting annual memberships 🙂….. Thank You Austin Aquarium!!!! 🐍🦆🐢🦖🐓🐛🦜🦘🦐✨🌎👌‼️‼️‼️‼️ P.S. Caring for Exotic Animals requires a “Community of service” and the prices factor into the operation, of such an establishment…. Thanks again ‼️
