We didn't eat here so we didn't get the full experience, but this place has a lot of energy and is in a great location off Congress. The place is kind of tight in terms of seating and walking around, but there is good seating as well as a nice long bar area. We went in for a couple of drinks and took in the ambience as there's a great vibe here. The staff is nice and helpful and the drinks were pretty good too. We've been here before in the past and have always had a good time. I would definitely recommend and will let you know about the food next time we go.

We had a party of 8 tonight. Our server, Michala was excellent! She gave terrific explanations of drinks and dishes. My favorite tonight was the fried mashed potatoes. Great consistency. Crunchy exterior soft mushy mashed potatoes with a slightly spicy dipping sauce. We also had the mushroom risotto which was too salty and too spicy. Didn't really enjoy that dish. Had the bacon wrapped apricots which were fantastic. We had the sirloin steak with purple grits, delicious. Also had the carrot pad Thai. Good flavor but I'm not a big fan of the shredded carrots instead of the rice noodles. The halibut was fabulous and possibly the best dish of all was the ice cream and churros. We'll be back again for sure!

The place over all was very strange. Service was particularly fast we ordered 7 dishes all served to us in under an hour and honestly the portion size and the prices of the food didn’t match (everything was over priced) and I typically will not mind price at all. The food was nothing exceptional eaither it all tasted average while the upstairs environment is initially inviting the ambience leaves much to be desired. Idk how this place has maintained such a high rating honestly compared to many of the downtown locations in Austin to eat at this place was lacking in so many ways I was not impressed at all and will never be going back again.

We really loved the decor and atmosphere at Swift's. Had a drink at the bar before we were seated. The bartenders were super knowledgeable and liked to talk about cocktail trends, whiskey, etc, which makes for a great night for us. Tapas menu was fun to share. We loved the Tiger Apricot (bacon wrapped), Broccoli Crunch Salad and Fungus Among Us wild mushroom risotto Delicious.

Food was good. Some dishes I enjoyed more than others. The sorbet dessert was my favorite and is probably the only thing that sticks out of really wanting to go back for. Mushroom risotto was good but not amazing (and not cheap but there was a lot of shaved truffle on it). Apricot bacon app was ok-lots of people raved about it on other reviews but it wasn’t our favorite, just a little odd of a flavor combo and texture all together. Brussel sprouts were pretty good. The churro dessert was decent but not nearly as good as the other dessert (that was a 10 out of 10). The food overall didn’t sit the best though over night. Our server was nice but definitely didn’t seem like they were super thrilled to be there. Very neutral service. Enjoyed the wine we ordered. Overall decent experience but wouldn’t be rushing back for the prices.

Amazing food and service! We came here for a bachelorette dinner on a Sunday, the server was super friendly and gave some good recommendations on both the food and speakeasies in the area. “Your favourite drink” here was definitely our favourite! 100% recommend to try this place!

Very neat atmosphere, servers were very attentive throughout the whole dinning experience. It is a great space to host events with very knowledgeable bartenders. The dishes were all very good! Plates are all on the smaller side. I particularly enjoyed the bacon wrapped apricots, which we had to order twice. Parking is limited as most places in downtown. Seasonal decorations make the place very festive. I recommend this place as a fun low key place for drinks with friends.

Superb SERVICE! Great food - certainly appeals the palate, variety of flavors. Creative atmosphere / music okay. Stop in. Recommend reservations. Ordered the bacon wrapped apricots, Brussel sprouts, the Halibut plate and the most requested Chicken dish - all delicious! Papi churro donuts & the Dude abides cheesecake - yum!

We were there for a huge party of 30+ people. The menu was set for us and everything was fantastic. There was a halibut dish-perfectly cooked. Another was a chicken course, airline chicken. Usually when you get chicken breast it overcooked and underseasoned, but it was amazing here. We also had some veg/vegan dishes that were really good and creative options. The cocktails were great too. "Your favorite cocktail" (pictured) was literally a favorite. I would defo return and highly recommend to others.

Solid spot for either apps and drinks or a full on dinner. Environment and decor was great, staff was friendly, liquor and spirit selection was amazing, and the happy hour was a nice touch. They had great music playing at a nice level where you won't have to yell to speak to your table mates. I definitely would recommend this space especially if you're near the capitol

A pleasant and surprising dining experience. Tapas style means everyone gets to try a little of everything. The bold fusion of flavors and cooking styles touch on all colors of the taste palette. The bar selection is one of the best in Austin. It has been curated to showcase the diverse tastes and attitudes of a 21st century Austin.

Where do I even start? Why isn’t this place on more peoples’ radar? We were greeted, and we were able to change the seating we wanted to be a little bit more private or not in the main walkway. The decor was hip, but the food was exquisite… normally I only expect the staff to serve and make sure we are okay, BUT EACH ONE OF THE STAFF that brought out the food told us what the food was, AND HOW TO EAT IT - whether it was better stirred up, or certain condiments were better. I was incredibly impressed with the staff, I am from Houston and I visit “5 star restaurants” and not even those restaurants staff are as aware of what the menu is. Let me just say that the chefs like to experiment and be bold, which I commend and encourage for them to do some more of! The food was great from start to finish - I even enjoyed the mushroom bowl (fungi) and I don’t normally eat mushroom. The pork dish was delicious, and the lamb meat balls were good too - the only complaint I had about the lamb meat was that there could have been a certain glaze to it to complete the dish. The alcoholic drinks were fun, but the mule was our favorite! The pina colada was a bit too strong for our liking, but the ginger in the mule was a great balance for what we typically were eating.

Such a unique experience. The food is fantastic. They serve it "family style" on sharable plates and its recommended you order 6-8 plates. We only ordered 5 because we weren't very hungry. They're cocktails are top shelf and they do not water them down. We had a great time. Service is good too.

Came in an hour before closing and we were welcomed with open arms. The bar manager, Curtis, is absolutely top notch. He is passionate about his craft and also took his time to understand what type of drinks we liked. He actually experimented with creative cocktails to find a drink that worked for us. The food is unique and delicious. Service phenomenal. Loved everything about this place!!

Foodies and Bourbon Hunters unite. I found this gem on a recent work trip to Austin and visited twice. The Tiger Apricots are a must have and the Halibut was perfectly cooked. Seoul Food and brussels were also worthy. Bartenders were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful navigating their bourbon selection, as I'm newer to that scene. Their selection is extensive and exceptional, see the picture. Bourbon prices are much more reasonable than others. I would highly recommend visiting here. I will go back.

This is an utterly fabulous place to go. The third time, and I've never been disappointed. The cocktails are special, plan on relaxing and sipping sensational libations. Food is created with a real sense of texture, flavors unlike anywhere. Go for happy hour... even sweeter! 😋 My only comment is that the music was a little too rap like for my taste.

The place has a cool atmosphere and the service was excellent. But overall the food was just okay. Nothing was bad, but getting mediocre food for really high prices is disappointing. Since it's tapas we all got to try a bit of several dishes. Not one item stood out to me.

This is such a cute place trying so hard but nothing is quite right. The grapefruit old fashion has club soda, the strawberry daiquiri is reinvented as a sphere of ice floating on pure spirit. The wagyu isn’t even prime. I don’t mind a tougher cut of meat just the entire experience feels just a bit contrived and artificial like if my Midwest grandma was on Chopped and they told her to cook Korean

Even if I tried I couldn’t find anything negative about this place, unless you like stairs but that’s about it. The food was amazing and the drinks were as well. The staff was very attentive and the desert was 10/10. Absolutely loved this place. Will be coming here more often.

Our server brought all of our drinks out except one persons at the beginning that’s how we knew we were in for a bad time. We were with a party of 7 so gratuity was included and our server didn’t seem to care since he knew he was getting 20%. The portions are small so they suggested 8-14 dishes for a party of 7. He forgot 3 of them like never even put them in and still tried to charge us for 2…. The halibut was disgusting for $40+. The pad Thai was good. Sushi had almost no steak in it for $20 but it was pretty good. Drinks were okay but nothing special. Overall was about $400 we spent before tip. Honestly the whataburger we had later was better for $. I’d recommend getting a round and maybe 2-3 apps then getting dinner elsewhere. Too many flavors. Dates were good

We loved our experience. The food is really interesting yet approachable. We followed the advice to order family style and really enjoyed sharing bites together. Cocktails were well done as well. The interior design is smart and interesting.
