Great: Cream corn is so yummy! Good: Chicken was good but don't forget to get some banana cream pudding. 😋 Bad: If you go too close to closing, they sell out of some of thir meats so try to get there a little earlier. Ugly: Brisket was too smoky.

Giving this place 5 stars for best service, Caidden! My first experience at Rudy's delightful and even more so for its delicious BBQ (brisket, baby back ribs, pork ribs, the spicy stew, creamed corn...rice Krispies treats) YUM.

This location was the best that I've been to for outdoor dining! There's a large covered patio and an outdoor picnic area with a playground and lovely views all around. The place was clean, customer service is great, as always. I love Rudy's beans and banana pudding, and usually love their brisket and turkey but at this location neither of the meats were up to par. They were missing that seasoned smoked flavor that I enjoyed at other locations. I'll try it here again, though, because I love the place itself. It's a nice place for a family dinner or date night when you want to dine outdoors.

Great place for budget Austin BBQ. Great atmosphere and a "help-yourself" environment for sides and drinks. Lots of different seating options as well.

Great serving size, friendly staff and lots of goodies to add to your meal; pickles, onions, condiments! The chocolate pudding is delicious.

I enjoyed the extra moist brisket a lot, one of the best peices of meat I have ever had! The atmosphere is nice as well, especially the outdoor seating and kids playground.

My go-to meat market. Fast service, kind staff, nice people, relaxing atmosphere. I’d never get enough brisket and prime ribs at this place.

If it’s your first time, ask the cashier to give you a sampler of the different options. I appreciate the consistency of the dishes at all the Rudy’s stores.

I'm new when it comes to Texas BBQ, so I was excited to try Rudy's. You order at a counter, where the service is fast and efficient. There's a good number of tables, with an additional patio area. To the side, there's a station where you get utensils and any fixings like pickles and onions. Each table also has two of their signature BBQ sauces, which were great. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and a side of coleslaw, and the flavor of the pork was delicious. It was juicy and paired well with the sandwich bun. I would definitely come back and try out more of the menu.

Typical Texan BBQ, which is already that good! The beef moisture is half hard half tender, I can understand that the part close to the fire will be like that. And the cream corn is so good! Btw the cashier boy input our pork ribs as beef price, which cost us $10 more, you should be careful next time.

I ordered delivery. The chicken is still raw and I also ordered moist brisket and received some dried out chunks of meat! I should definitely be issued a refund!

I say this about almost all Rudy’s barbecue joints, if you’re looking for consistently, good barbecue, Rudy’s is always a great choice. In Austin it’s hard to say what the best barbecue is because they’re so many great joints to choose from, but Rudy’s has been around for a very long time as well, and even with multiple locations, the consistency has stayed the same. Whether or not it’s barbecue breakfast tacos or anything in between. You can’t go wrong with Rudy’s

Was in town and came across this spot. It might look different than a regular restaurant but don't let it fool you. The food was great and the price wasn't bad for bbq. Got the brisket, sausage, chicken, ribs & pull pork, potatoe salad and beans. Paid around $110 and fed 4 us with leftovers. If you in town and want some great bbq check them out.

This Monday, I had lunch at the Rudy's on South Capital of Texas Highway in West Lake Hills, Texas. The lunch room and patio was quite full at noon; although, there was no wait to order food. I got the smoked turkey, moist brisket and St. Louis pork ribs, all of which are delicious. Rudy's offers plenty of barbecue sauce and condiments for free, including pickles, onions and jalepenos. Always consistent, if not a little expensive. Oh yeah, and you are eating in a gas station :-)

Omg the unsweetened tea is really good here, but I wish they had bigger cups. And their breakfast tacos are good too. I recommend the brisket tacos.

We all know Rudy's BBQ is consistently delicious, but I wanted to give them kudos for their #accessible gas pumps. All of the pumps are at a lower level, so there's no need to wait for one to come open. Thank you for this!

Being from Charlotte NC, I was anxious to try this place as my daughter and son in law love it. I only wished I'd tried the ribs as they looked scrumptious! My pulled pork sandwich is the best I've had outside of North Carolina. Such a COOL atmosphere. If I go back to Austin to visit my daughter before she moves back, this is 1st place I'm going for food & some of those ribs!!!!!

They put in a play scape and nice astro turf in the back. Great spot for our family reunion. Their brisket is delicious. My son enjoyed the chocolate pudding. Also, the line moves quickly every time I'm there. This is a traditional Texas barbecue style setup, so don't expect fancy plates and cutlery.

Love Rudy’s BBQ - grew up in Leon Springs where the original location is. They’ve done a good job replicating the food and the feel of it. Smoked turkey is my favorite but everything is good. I wouldn’t say it’s the best BBQ you’ll ever have but it’s consistently good and reliable for a place with multiple locations. Definitely worth picking up for a large party, hard to beat the price and you get a good amount of food.
