Stopped in for happy hour on a Tuesday. This restaurant has a lovely setting in the Hill Country overlooking Lake Travis with both indoor and outdoor seating. Parking is adequate on the premises and handicapped accessible. The interior appointments are lovely, with a rustic Texas and cowboy theme. They offer a full bar and a wide-ranging menu. We were seated promptly and enjoyed excellent service the entire time. For starters we enjoyed the chips and queso, guacamole, and salsa. Also provided were a variety of delicious hot rolls and butter. For my meal I had the beef kebab appetizer, others had the crab cakes appetizer, skillet meatballs, while others had a generous salad. All enjoyed their food which was presented beautifully. Cocktails were professionally prepared. Prices reflect the quality of the food and exceptional setting and service. Overall, if you seek a special occasion or a lovely meal, I would recommend this venue.

We went during the Holiday Brunch to celebrate our mom's birthday. They had so many choices and mostly everything I had tasted good! The lobster mac and cheese was the tastiest!! The fruit was fresh and sweet. The view was beautiful and our waiter was very attentive and accommodating. The ice sculptures were amazing 🤩. I gave 4 stars because I thought the pricing was pretty steep @ $44/person when the normal brunch is $25/person. I would definitely go back during the normal brunch prices 😉

Isabel was amazing to have the patience to put up with us. Steiners does everything well. The food is delicious, ambience is superb and service as I mentioned is top notch. Just pick this place if you don't know where to dine out in Austin or want to impress visitors

We were in the area and decided to call ahead to check the wait. We made a reservation for inside seating. When we were taken to our table we changed our minds since it was a little noisy in the area. We were accommodated and moved to outside seating. I'm so glad we were. It was a little chilly outside but so peaceful. I had the medallion trio and we also had Oscar asparagus as an appetizer. My best friend had the filet mignon. Our food was delicious!! The service we received from the young lady who seated us was so friendly and professional. Brandi was our server and she was phenomenal!!! I was impressed by Brandi's knowledge of the menu. She brought a heater at our request and even changed the propane! Brandi went above and beyond to make our dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. Kudos to the staff!!

Amazing appetizer! This Ahi tuna was just as it should be: super moist, supple (indicating freshness) and a very well accomplished light sear on the outside with a beautiful two color sesame crust, providing not only flavor but acting as a heat barrier enabling the inside very tender and downright raw in the middle. Regarding flavor, you'll adore this Asian-inspired glaze – a zesty blend of citrus-spiked soy sauce, sesame, lime, ginger and garlic. The pickled onion and ginger are an great companion if you go light you don't want to overpower the great taste of the tuna, cucumber could be a great add on to the simple salad side. The looks, a nice looking plate, little on the simpler side, could use just a creative boost. Versatility, should offer little variations for recurring customers, if we love the plate would be great to have the chance to try a different crust, glaze, side, etc. Also having a larger option to be able to share would be nice! Trust me & try it... You will love it!

I enjoyed my visit for the sunday brunch buffet. The price point is great for the range in food options. You have savory, sweet, healthy, light, heavy..and everything in between. At the time of this post price point is $24.99 per person. I would recommend this place for brunch. I gave this a 4star because for a steakhouse, the steak was underwhelming.

This was one amazing experience. We loved the food, the ambiance. We didn’t expect as much people on a Tuesday afternoon so there was a bit of wait for seating outside, however even when the place was packed to the brim they were fast and efficient in service, food absolutely delicious, the lobster mac and cheese is to die for, the live music! Oh lord what an amazing trio of fellas, one of the songs they sang was an original song dedicated to one of their fathers and it made me cry my eyes out 😭 one of the most beautiful sunsets I had the chance to experience. 1000% recommended

The food, wine, and service were amazing! We arrived just after the Sunday brunch, and it was nice and pleasant. The recommendations were spot on. We went with specials off the menu, and we were not disappointed. There is so much food on the plates, worth th price.

Managed to score last minute reservations for the family. Excellent place for steak, large selection of wine (and food portions) with a gorgeous view. Service is excellent. The wait staff was able to accommodate sharing of plates.

Knowledgeable, professional and courteous staff. Food and cocktails are all delicious. View is amazing!! Reasonably priced, for a high end steakhouse, except for the fried lobster tail. It was amazing, but $80 is a bit much guys. Overall I would go back over and over.

Went here for sis in law and her hubby’s birthday celebration. Good place. The food was good too. The best past was the bread pudding and the Chilean sea bass I got. Lol. Everyone else food was okay. Kids pasta was good too. Our server was hardly there. We had to wait long periods of time for things. It was annoying. Every other server were at their tables constantly. The view from the restaurant was good. Overlooking the river. Don’t know if I will recommend this place in general. Oh yeah the bathroom was not working lol. But definitely bread pudding was good

Great time. We sat next to the fire in the main room. Live piano music was playing as well. Great food. The fried flounder was incredible and stayed crispy even. Little pricey on food but was very good, the wine list is extensive but has 300% markup. Service was excellent. Nice atmosphere.

What a great experience! We showed up for a 9p reservation and were sat immediately. We chose the patio since it was a beautiful 74 degree breezy day. Our server was super nice and gave recommendations on drinks, apps, and dessert. We ordered the stuffed avocado (excellent), new york strip (great), texas ribeye (fantastic! Slightly more flavorful than the ny strip), creamed corn (really good!), creamed spinach (liked it a lot!), and then the brownie explosion for dessert. The brownie explosion was huge and prob enough for 4-5 people to share. It was a warm cinnamon hot chocolate brownie. If you like a sizzling hot brownie, that's not what this is. It's just warm enough to melt the ice cream on top. It was really tasty. For drinks, we really loved the cookies & cream (which has a cookie dough whiskey & giant ice cube) and the lemoncello martini which was slightly less sweet than a lemon drop and bubbly. We would love to come back any time we're in town again.

During my recent visit to Steiner Ranch Steakhouse, I was treated to a meal that was as delightful to the palate as it was to the eyes. The steak was cooked to perfection, with a seared crust that sealed in all the flavorful juices, achieving that ideal balance of tenderness and taste. Accompanying the steak, the green beans were a fresh counterpoint, cooked al dente, which brought a nice, crisp texture to the meal. The loaded baked potato was a symphony of classic toppings, each bite rich and comforting. Coupled with a cold beer, this meal was a reminder of what a classic American steakhouse experience should be – utterly satisfying. A hearty commendation to Steiner Ranch Steakhouse for a memorable dinner.

Service was really good, there were some small issues but overall a really great time. I had the ribeye, which was 10/10, this is a great place to host an intimate event with colleagues.

The food was amazing and the service was stellar. Devin did a great job explaining to us how each steak differed and about how they cooked them as well. The food was delicious and well seasoned without being overly seasoned which helped the flavor of the meat to shine. We went for our anniversary and we’re given a personalized tray with bread pudding. It was delicious and not super sweet. Definitely will come back here in the future when we are in town.

Beautiful view of Lake Travis. I ordered a green salad with a great fresh Parmesan dressing and the tenderloin appetizer. Everything was delicious.

Brought my boyfriend for his birthday dinner. It was incredible! Our server, Adam was amazing and did a great job reviewing the specials with us. We ordered the 20oz filet to split which came with sides and we also enjoyed the lobster Mac. Hands down best treat yourself meal of 2022. Be sure to dine here and don’t forget the lobster butter!!

Server at the bar: Rachel 3 beers Gin and Vodka Martini The Martini was made beautifully, could not have asked for a better drink, or a better server. She answered all questions I had and I never had an empty drink. Chef: Anthony Although I didn't eat the food he was making, I got to watch him work, and he is very much a master of his craft, and it was a pleasure watching him handle the crowd he was working with. He kept a consistent pace, and is obviously good at what he does. Dinner server: Justice She definitely left a good impression. Walked me through the menu and made recommendations when asked. She made sure I was thoroughly taken care of, and was very attentive to everything I ordered, giving me updates when it would be a little bit. Nothing took long at all, so that was just great service Dinner: Caesar salad Crab stuffed mushrooms 6oz A5 Japanese Wagyu steak (shown certificate, shipped from Japan) with potatoes and bacon wrapped asparagus Lobster Mac and cheese Lava cake, with vanilla ice cream, blueberries, raspberries, pecans, powdered sugar, and whipped cream I don't know who made my dinner, but they are great at what they do, and I would be hard pressed to find a reason to give them less than 5 stars. Everything was made and given to me at perfect increments. All in all, this place deserves no less than 5 stars. All of the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. They all know what they do very well. I highly recommend making reservations to make sure you can eat here, it is worth the trip.
