Had a wonderful, engaging, private Hearse Haunted Tour of Austin with our guide Loretta! We went to three haunted and historically significant spots,: the Driskill Hotel, The Clay Pit, and the Littlefield Mansion. Loretta is a great storyteller and at the end of the night we were thoroughly spooked!! Each building has a fantastic story so won't share any spoilers here. My sister said she had nightmares so I think it means the tour was successful. ;-) Each stop also has wonderful adult and non-adult beverages and clean bathrooms. Highly recommend this tour and Loretta!

Oh man please book a tour with Jane! She's hella fabulous with her quirkiness, passion and knowledge of the locations she had took my husband and me to. She has shared personal experiences and facts about locations around Austin! It was an all around awesome experience; my first and only experience I had. Even my husband, who is and still is a skeptic, adored her personality and humor and charisma. Please consider a tour with Jane! 10/10 experience will totally do again whenever I am in Austin in the future!

My dad booked our family tickets for Haunted Atx for my mom's birthday and it was definitely fun! We got to visit the locations in a classic Cadillac hearse. Loretta, our tour guide, was informative, spoke well, and had a friendly manner. The stories she told were interesting and she told us she would send links to some podcasts and blogs to learn more. I would be willing to go on another tour if they do a new run with new locations around Austin. The only thing I would recommend would be to add a few more fans or cooling tools for the back of the hearse and maybe to take with the guests to some of the locations so it is a little more comfortable in the summer months. Other than that, I would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to know more about some the most famed haunted spots in Austin.

What an awesome time!! Loretta was so full of knowledge and kept us intrigued the whole time. Great story teller. She made us question so many things with her vast knowledge and confidence. We did the private hearse tour which is a must if you are able to. Highly recommend Loretta and Haunted ATX. If I could I would give it 10 stars! Made my daughter’s trip complete.

Such a fun tour. This was my first ghost tour in Austin, my husband and I are so happy we had Maddy as our tour guide. She is welcoming, fun, and very knowledgeable. I recommend the van if you want more AC! Complementary water and sodas provided, or you can bring your own adult beverages!

Matthew was our amazing and Austin Weird vibing in a good way host. This was a birthday gift to my gf and he made the night come to life with his talent. We never felt a drag and always felt engaged. Even when things didn’t go as plan towards the end (external forces) he did everything possible to not let it ruin our night. Awesome dude that I hope others get to experience as well.

Absolutely awesome! Matthew was awesome and even offered to take us by somewhere to pick up dinner since we aren't local before dropping us off. Thinking about it afterwards, we missed the opportunity of a lifetime, not getting dinner in a hearse! 🤣 the private tour is a little more pricy, but if you can swing it DEFINITELY do it!!!

The highlight of our trip to Austin! There was so much Austin history at each stop and our guide made sure to make a fine distinction between legend, verifiable history, and information uncovered more recently. My sister and I accidentally got a private tour in the van since another group backed out, the AC and space was greatly appreciated. The hearse looks SO COOL, but also not as comfy. The tour is BYOB but they provide chilled pop and water along with plastic cups. Masks are provided upon request, which we were thankful to receive, but not required. Maddy was a treat and is highly recommended. She had tons of information outside of the regular tour and was well informed and able to provide perspective on other bits of both Austin history and current events.

Our tour guide Loretta was amazing! Not only was she super knowledgeable, but she was also very funny and personable. Although some of the locations thoroughly creeped us out, Loretta kept such a good balance of authentic history and spooky stories. We’re from NC, and I want to come back to Austin just to take a private tour with Haunted ATX!

Wow! What an amazing experience. From start to finish our group loved it all! Matthew was the best! His knowledge on all the families was incredible. He had the best personality and definitely recommend you ask for him to be your guide. It was amazing to learn some of the history of Austin and seeing some lights flash while we were in a basement was incredible … we really felt the spirits there! May they all continue to RIP. Loretta was an awesome guide. My wife and our cousins and myself all enjoyed a great evening and learned plenty of backstory to the locations we visited. Loretta was patient and very knowledgeable. We definitely recommend that anyone looking for an enjoyable experience to book with Haunted ATX! We will definitely be booking additional tours in the future. Rich history in Austin our guide was amazing he was very knowledgeable about the locations and told the stories with a passion for the details i would definitely do it again we had the van which was great 👍

Got a private tour in a hearse as a birthday gift from my sister and was BLOWN AWAY! I'm a paranormal investigator and former tour owner (in New Orleans) so my standards are high. Loretta killed it! She was an amazing, knowledgeable guide and we had the time of our lives. I've already recommended this to several friends.

Our tour guide, Loretta, led us on this haunted tour, and to be honest, I'd never been on one before and wasn't quite sure what to expect. However, she did an incredible job and went above and beyond our expectations! Even after a 7-hour drive from Oklahoma and going straight into the tour, she managed to keep our attention and provided us with some fantastic experiences. Thank you once again, Loretta!

Matthew was a terrific guide! My daughter, and I really enjoyed the drive around haunted Austin ATX tour! We enjoyed hearing all sorts of history and facts about the historic buildings and prohibition. It would be so cool if we were able to go in the tunnels underground! We will definitely recommend if we know anyone. Heading to Austin, Texas. Such a fun first night in Austin. Thank you very much as well for picking us up at the first stop so we didn’t need to drive an extra ways out. Our favourite was the Driskill Hotel! We enjoyed a couple of appetizers before the tourist started, and the pretzel was superb!

I went on my first Ghost Tour with my girlfriends last night for Friday the 13th in October. We had Sarah as our tour guide. It was a lot of fun learning about the history of the locations we had gone to. It was even more interesting some of the things previous people on the tour caught photos of while they were at the locations we were touring. I loved the experience and the group we were with was very diverse so it made it fun and interesting. I am so happy I got to check this experience off my bucket list. If you are ever in the Austin area and would like to go on a ghost tour this is definitely one you should consider. They’re the only mobile one in the city. It was also BYOB so you can have a fun night with friends while on the way to these locations. They even let you get drinks while you were at the locations and take it with you. Honestly a great way to invest in spooky season this Friday the 13th!!

This was such a unique, informative, and bizarre experience. Maddy was a great guide! She knew her stuff and was actively invested in the stories. You could see how connected she felt to the places we saw and each of the spirit's stories that she told. We all caught some spooky sights, heard some ghosts whistling and humming, and felt some crazy things. This tour was all around worth it! Whether you're a skeptic or not, you will have a fun time and bring home stories to tell for sure. Things to keep in mind are: 1) the hearse doors are low and it is tight. 2) Most of the stops have quite a few stairs that you'll use.

We had a great time with our guide, Amy, during our haunted hearse tour. She was super knowledgeable and shared a lot of Austin's history with us. She was also great about taking our group photo throughout the tour, which was greatly appreciated. I would definitely do a tour like this again.

We did the private tour in the hearse. It was amazing! Matthew really made our night. Our family learned so much about Austin's spooky history from a very enthusiastic, charming and kind guide. Since we had 2 kids with us he customized the stories for their ears while still keeping it creepy. The hearse ride was super cool too! I would recommend this tour in a heartbeat.

This haunted tour was so much fun! We did the hearse tour, which was especially unique, but I think even the van tour would’ve been a good time. Loretta was an amazing storyteller! She drove us around in the hearse to several different locations, and had in-depth knowledge of the haunted history at each stop. She provided the factual history of the locations, as well as the supernatural aspects. Loretta’s passion for the stories created an ambience that is still following us around today! 👻 I’ve done several “haunted” tours in different cities, but this one felt the most genuine by far! I would definitely recommend this tour if you’re in Austin!

Loretta was great! Loved that she spent abit of personal time with our group of three as well as the other groups there. The stories and places were great and the recommendations for podcast and movies are on my list now. The fear of the lights going off while in the attic will forever stay with us. Can’t wait to bring friends and family on our next trip!

Best way to get your first taste of Austin! Our guide was Loretta and she was amazing - super knowledgeable, great story teller, and excellent at picking up on our groups' vibe and adapting to us. We did the private hearse tour with a group of 3. The hearse is an awesome way to get around from site to site. It's not at all comfortable, but it sure is a blast popping around haunted locations in such a unique vehicle. Certainly worth the experience, although if you have any accessibility or comfort concerns, the hearse is not designed with passenger comfort in mind - I'm going to go ahead and guess that the previous passengers never really voiced any complaints. Haunted ATX has arrangements with the stops on the tour, so you'll be able to see and access parts of the location that are normally off-limits to regular patrons. Loretta gave us a great combination of the history of Austin and of course lots of good ghost stories. We're pretty new to the area and I learned a lot of quirky things about Austin that aren't the usual tourist details. A ghost tour is a very fun and entertaining way to explore a city and Haunted ATX delivers both on the entertainment and educational fronts. They are BYOB and allow alcohol consumption on the tour (several of the stops serve alcohol, so you'll have a chance to booze up even if you didn't bring anything with you). Loretta also had a nice little selection of water and soft drinks stationed for us in the hearse. Bring along an open mind and a couple of drinks and have a spooktacular evening!

Some friends and I did the private tour with Haunted ATX and had the BEST TIME! It was so cool riding around in the hearse and learning about Austin's spooky history (also, it's BYOB which adds an extra fun element). Maddy did a great job at telling stories and being accommodating. We were picked up on time and didn't feel rushed to get from one place to the next. I highly recommend Haunted ATX for a fun, unforgettable group outing.

First ever ghost tour! It was pretty amazing and creepy (in a good way). Our guides had our curiosity, had us laughing and in awe. I highly recommend the private tour. We were able to take photos and boy… do we have some creepy ones. But here is our favorite. 10 stars!!!!
