The location is great. It's an easy walk to restaurants. The river and trails are nice and easy to access. The rooms are fine. They beds are OK. My room was showing signs of wear and tear, but everything was fully functional. The restaurant in the hotel has decent if slightly overpriced food. There are a number of vegetarian options, but you'll need to ask about some of them. I had one minor issue, and they were quick and attentive. The conference facilities were nice, and the staff was very helpful.

The views were amazing. Great location! Hot tub and pool on the river. The workout room was amazing! The treadmills were updated and had tons of options. Cute bar. Nice clean rooms! The TVs had your name on them when you turned them on which was neat and the privacy locks were updated onto screens instead of paper things on the doors.

This Hyatt was super busy the entire weekend we stayed but it was a fantastic stay. The room was superb, the location is excellent, the amenities are vast. The central location of this hotel makes it a very popular destination. The staff here are pretty good, however be sure you have any email correspondence available if you had asked for anything special for your stay. Always good to have proof. We will definitely be returning in the future.

The checkin was very easy and smooth. The staff was very efficient. Breakfast buffet service was super great and the staff kept the coffee cups full. Lots of variety, very fresh and yummy breakfast. The riverside room with a view of the Austin skyline was amazing. Nick Colbert from the guest services reached out early in the week to see if we had any special requests and indeed I did. Every need was met adequately and they kept me posted via text messages too. The BEST Hyatt experience EVER!

Lovely hotel. Very clean and luxury feel. Room was amazing with a view and patio over the river. Cocktails were tasty and the bar staff along with the front desk staff were great and professional. Would be 5 stars if not for two big issues. 1. Car parking is so expensive for a guest of the hotel. Almost $60 for an overnight stay. Extortionate for a paying guest. 2. Breakfast is $130 for two people and was just a simple buffet. No offence but a super 8 or cheap motel offers breakfast for free and with tasty options. If those two issues were resolved then I would upgrade to 5 stars.

When you’re driving from downtown across the bridge over Lady Bird Lake, you see this beautiful Hyatt sitting to the right. It’s a marvel to see during the day and at night. The staff is always very polite. The bars there are amazing. I love the fact that you can enjoy the lobby and patio area as well as other wonderful amenities in the lobby area. You can also walk outside near the water and walk to the area and see the bats fly. It’s just gorgeous! Thank you!

A little pricier than some other options but totally worth it! The staff is so friendly and helpful, it was a beautiful hotel, and the location was perfect! We had 8 girls staying for a weekend and we could walk everywhere we needed to! We had gorgeous views of the river which made it really spectacular. Great pool and hot tub with a view of the river. I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at the Hyatt for a 3 days weekend and we had a fantastic stay. The hotel staff was super accommodating and generous. We were upgraded to a river view room and had late checkout. We took advantage of the location and walked the beautiful hike and bike trail every morning. When we were on the property, we enjoyed a beer on the outside deck at Marker 10 or just lounged at the pool as we took in the beautiful view of the Austin skyline. The younger members of my family didn’t want to leave. And I can’t wait to come back.

Location is wonderful and amazing views of Downtown Austin and the river. However the hotel is dated but has been renovated and everything in the room was working just fine. One night it was noisy from the room above us, so we told the front desk and they moved us to a new room on the higher floor, which was awesome. I enjoyed the location: you can easily get to the trails by the river or cross the bridge to get to downtown. It is also next to the “bat” bridge, so we had this experience of watching them all fly under the bridge at sunset. Overall, it was kind of expensive stay but we enjoyed Austin!

We stayed for an entire week and were very happy with everything. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice room, great view, and central location within walking distance of so many things to eat, see, and do. Located right next to the bridge so we watched the bats every evening. We also really enjoyed the pool and the hotel bar/restaurant. Overall, a great experience and we would return.

Old outdated hotel, don’t believe the pictures, they were taken 50 years ago. I was going to stay for a week, but I ended up, leaving after one night. C’mon Hyatt, do better! With an investment of time and money, this could be a top-tier hotel because of the location sandwiched between downtown Austin and cool Congress area.

Such a great experience at the Hyatt regency Austin location! We celebrated an event and they spoiled us! Such great staff there, very clean, and great location to be in! Cannot wait to go back! Make sure you get a balcony because the views are amazing!

Our room was beautiful and had a great view. The bed was the best part! It was comfortable and well appointed with cotton linens. I slept like a baby after a long night celebrating at a wedding. The staff was also one of the best parts of this hotel. They are friendly and helpful. Nick and Eli helped us work out an early arrival in order to get ready for our son’s wedding. Every staff member we encountered was professional, kind and accommodating. If there is something that I would have liked to change, it would be the parking. It’s a bit expensive, but that is Austin!

A wonderful Hotel with a stunning view over Bird Lake und the Austin City Skyline. We had a corner room with panoramic windows, it was really absolutely breathtaking, especially at night. We also loved the modern style and design of our room, housekeeping was wonderful too. They have a superior breakfast buffet, a nice bar and a fancy restaurant and a Starbucks near the lobby. The inside of the hotel surprises with an open architecture and a timeless and elegant ambience, very inviting for cocktail hours. We will come back!

I wished the hotel was on the other side of the river where most of the restaurants are in Austin. However, the hotel does have an excellent restaurant; their brisket is magnificent. The bar is open and friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. Loved the food. The rooms were spacious and clean. My family and I had a wonderful time in Austin. Hyatt certainly made the trip comfortable.

Great location on the river. Very good hotel for a Hyatt Regency. Stellar service. Rooms are updated and well designed. Problems are quickly addressed. Note that the spacious bar closes relatively early at night (apparently because the atrium design causes noise to travel to the rooms), and the cocktail program is better on paper than as executed. Getting help by phone is cumbersome because of the automated system. Food quality and selection at events are merely fair.

Definitely recommend this hotel! Very nice, relaxing, clean and centrally located in downtown Austin! There is a shuttle to/from the airport. If ever in the area, give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

Came for a three day conference. Room was great - very modern. Bar and surrounding area served as a good late night gathering place. Location gets 4 stars instead of 5 for being on the other bridge side.

We enjoyed our stay. The Hyatt was clean all around. It was close to restaurants and there is a small grocery store across the street. We where able to walk around the block with ease. Plenty of breakfast options as well. Learn from our past mistake. Ask about the key card. They are sensitive to phones, so keep them separate.

Remember to use HotelTully.ᴄᴏm when booking your hotel. This website will compare thousands of booking websites and normally will have rates a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely won't be disappointed. We enjoyed our stay. Excellent business hotel with great catering in their conference venue, a Starbucks, two very good restaurants and a nice pool. The location on the river/lake allows for access to plenty of very cool recreational opportunities. Do not miss the nightly awakening of the bats under the nearby bridge. Very cool! Rooms are very comfortable, and the views are breathtaking.

Great location, walking distance to South Congress and a short Uber to any other part of Austin that you'd want to explore. Excellent customer service and hospitality! My husband and I spent our honeymoon there and all of the staff was kind and congratulatory. Caroline at the front desk was so wonderful and accommodating and she went out of her way to make restaurant recommendations and try to help us find a short notice reservation for dinner. We were upgraded to a river view room with a balcony—the view was fantastic. Would absolutely stay there again for the service and location!

We wanted a nice place to stay that was close to my mom’s funeral and had stayed at this beautiful hotel near downtown Austin before so we made a late reservation and got a nice room. The funeral visitation wasn’t until late in the afternoon the next day and we asked the extremely kind and friendly front desk associate, Angel, if there was any way we could get an extended check-out time and he was quickly accommodating. When the manager, Ben, heard us asking, he was gracious enough to give us another couple of hours so we wouldn’t have to wait around as long until the visitation started. It was unbelievably kind and generous! We were treated like family! We also had a fantastic time with dinner and drinks as our server, Brandie, was outstanding and so cordial and friendly. We can’t express our gratitude and satisfaction enough! Highly recommend! Thank you again, Ben, Angel and Brandie!

So glad we stayed at this hotel! The rooms are lovely, modern and perfectly clean. The facilities are great - pool with a view! Location is in perfect proximity to downtown Austin while being right on the walking trails on the lake. I would recommend asking for a room facing anything other than the carpark, that was my only regret.

We recently hosted our daughter's sixteenth birthday with our friends at Marker 10 restaurant at Hyatt Regency Austin and the experience was very memorable. When we first went to check out the restaurant and get details, we met Alyssa(Food and Beverage supervisor) and she was very nice and provided all the information. She listened to us, was very accommodative and willing to earn our business! It was quite contrary to our experience at few other places around that were very fixed and didn't try to be flexible. After the initial conversation, she worked with us for four weeks over email and phone to confirm the details and plan the event. Our experience in every single interaction with Alyssa was awesome! The table setting was done very good. Alyssa and hostess Cassandra were extremely friendly, patient and provided great service!! The food was good and things went very smoothly. This was the best experience we had in a restaurant at four star hotels. We are extremely happy with Alyssa, Cassandra and would definitely recommend them and the restaurant to host any of your special events!! Thank you Alyssa, Cassandra for all your help😀

Stayed here while on vacation. The location was great considering I didn't rent a car. Everything was within walking distance. Restaurants, attractions and shopping. Stayed in a single King suite that was huge! Didn't have the best view from my room nor was there a microwave. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. There were some areas that looked dated but overall a really nice hotel

I had a great view but the bats didn't come out from under the bridge on account of the weather. The room was great, except the air conditioner made this "Thunk!" noise every time it came on, really hindered my sleep. But the AC was great, kept the room cold during the hottest days of the year.

Great place to stay! Kinda pricey but great view and very nice and clean rooms. Showers could use an upgrade. Very spacious and comfortable . Staff was great too! Walking distance to good food and always a party on 6th street that is nearby.

Housekeeping was less than satisfactory upon check-in but the housekeeping staff responded promptly by replacing the dirty duvet and also re-cleaning the bathroom. We arrived the next day after a day in Austin and found that the housekeeping supervisor, Ricky Guzman, had a small charcuterie tray delivered to the room with a hand-written note with his sincere apology. Great location, high quality rooms. Parking is pricey, so be sure to plan for $40+ per day.

It’s great hotel I will return next time in a word. Renovated partially even it was not perfect but acceptable. Staffs had very good communication via SMS text chat and they listened to customers voice. This is really hugely differentiated compared to other Hyatt hotels. I want to complement GM Jeff especially from his kind communication. And Valet parking staffs were excellent esp. Nathan was professional. All my family was happy with this hotel’s service and quality and we will revisit. I appreciate all staffs service and their quality. Thank you to the team Hyatt Regency Austin.

Hotel staff was kind and welcoming. Checked in much later then planned after a hectic day at multiple airports. They upgraded us over to a better views and got nice views of the water. Only ranked 4 stars because all the restaurants were closed prior to 9pm the nights we tried to eat there. There was one bar that only served drinks.

Tonya, who ran the valet, was absolutely wonderful and helped us out so much when we showed up for a large convention in our oversized truck. She worked with us several times and was incredibly understanding. The breakfast buffet on weekends was amazing!!! The hotel was very clean and the staff we interacted with were all helpful. I only wish the rooms had offered more clothing storage, otherwise we have zero complaints about the location, staff, cleanliness, or operations. I would absolutely recommend this hotel!

I stayed at the Hyatt for a conference. I was able to upgrade to a balcony room. My room needed some repairs but the upgrade price was so reasonable, I didn't mind. The location was amazing. The restaurant for dinner had a very limited menu, which was disappointing but the location made ordering in super easy! Overall it was a nice hotel, I felt safe traveling alone. I did have a parking issue that took a month to fix but the staff made up for it once we were able to get it fixed.
