Clean, comfortable and quiet! Very nice hotel that is well located to various restaurants and shops. The one item that impressed me was the restaurant at the hotel. A co-worker and I decided to have dinner at the hotel and Drew was the server who was very pleasant and explained in detail the various items on the menu. I felt like I was in a local restaurant versus a hotel restaurant. I had the Tortilla Soup and the Fish Tacos which both were very good. This was my first time staying here and when in the area again will definitely make reservations here.

Clean rooms and great area to get around from. Was there for a conference and did not disappoint. The only issue from receiving a 5 star was the lack of help for the restaurant and kitchen during my stay. The wait for the food was a bit too long. Besides that the staff handled the situation well and with smiles. I will return and do recommend.

This place is truly a gem! It may not be the swankiest or most updated out there but my husband and I had such a wonderful time visiting. From the cozy outdoor fire pits and cute seating areas, thoughtful fall decor throughout and a wonderful restaurant patio to the Aveda shampoo products in the showers 😌 and decent coffee shop in the atrium - we can’t wait to come back! We also loved the location of this property, as it is within walking distance to some restaurants and shops, as well as a small paved trail that leads down to a duck pond. (Lots of other WONDERFUL hiking options close by as well, about a 10-15 minute drive.) Someone has obviously put a lot of thought and care into the details at this property and we really loved every minute there. Very relaxing!! Already planning our next visit. Thank you! (My only complaints - the pillows were like trying to sleep a piece of paper and an additional hook or towel bar in the bathroom besides the one in the shower would be nice!)

I stayed here with my two kids for 2 nights/3 days. We had a phenomenal time. The room and beds were wonderful. The two pools and hot tubs were relaxing for me and fun for my kids. The hotel restaurant made delicious food and portions were BIG. The price of the food was well below what I expected, which was great on the budget. We will definitely be back!! Thank you, Renaissance Marriott, for blessing us with a great get-a-way before the school year begins!

I love this hotel!! I usually stay here whenever i come to town. Its not the new kid on the block, nor is it the fanciest. However, it is still classy and elegant. Not to mention it has several old oak trees. The staff has always been kind, courteous and helpful. As a bonus, Cheesecake Factory is a short stroll away. So are some beautiful nature trails and nice stores for shopping. Suchi bar is good. What's not to love about this place?

Very beautiful hotel and great ambiance. The front desk employees are very sweet and helped answer my questions. Check in and check out was smooth and easy. The room was very nice and clean. I had a small issue with my room card that was quickly fixed. The hotel is also located in a great area in Austin. I went to different popular places with my family and most of them were 13-20 minutes away.

We stayed for a convention. The hotel itself is nice: clean, 2 places to eat, neat decor. The food provided for our convention was sensational. Someone put a lot of effort into the food. However, we were not very impressed with some of our experiences with staff. We got in (from a long day of travel) at 9:00 at night, and it took them 45 minutes (plus 15 minutes) just to give us a key to our room—they said due to a computer glitch. But we stood there for 20 minutes before any explanation was even given, hardly any apology, and then they gave us the wrong room, so we had to go back just to get a key for the right room. Poor new employee was trying to help us, and probably acted more professional than the manager—who didn’t act solution-oriented to keep us feeling taken care of. Also, free coffee is sparse here!! Attendants of the convention were agitated with the coffee situation. Refrigerators apparently had a problem being too cold (frozen) or two warm, and there was no knob to adjust temperature settings. They did offer to switch it out though.

The staff at this hotel were outstanding! The facility is very nice, rooms were clean and very quiet. Dining and drinks in the Knotty Lounge were great, too.

We often either stay downtown or in the Domain when we visit. We decided on on the Renaissance this trip. While it’s the original north Austin luxury hotel, the hotel is holding up well. The location has easy access to three highways - US 183, MoPac/1 and 360. Walkable restaurants with also a good bar and restaurant in the hotel. But, by far the best attribute of this hotel is the service. Looking forward to the next visit.

This Hotel is amazing! I usually always stay here for my business trips. It would have been 5 stars for me if Jennifer Leon did not work there. She should NOT be allowed at the front desk. Worst customer service person i have ever met. Disgusted tasted in my mouth because of her. Train her to be a better person. Thanks

Surprisingly poor service and amenities for a hotel in a modern city. Check in staff was not very informative. We booked club level, but the staff failed to avail that to us and had to remind her. The club itself is the worse "club" for a hotel I've ever stayed at...poor food choices and no alcoholic beverage offered in the club lounge. We booked this with my United miles, which were deducted. But the hotel ALSO charged us the full amount on the credit card! Again, likely due to the very poor staff service at check in. Poor showing for a hotel hospitality.

We booked this hotel for our wedding weekend while the wedding guests stayed at a different, more affordable hotel in Austin. The suite was stunning and very romantic for newlyweds. We loved the location and the amenities offered. It was nice to have privacy and not run into our wedding guests unexpectedly.

Great hotel with a friendly proactive staff throughout our stay. The rooms are modern and very clean. This is a large hotel with the ability for conferences and events. The bar and outdoor sitting areas are very nice for gatherings or just watching the game. Ample parking however be sure to scan the QR code in the lot or at the check in desk to pay the $20 parking fee. Will definitely return.

Resort like hotel conveniently located just north of downtown. Nice quiet hotel away from the craziness of downtown, but close enough that you can get downtown in ~15min. The property has a large open lobby and has a a lot of cool places to hangout and chill. There’s an indoor and outdoor pool as well as an indoor and outdoor hot tub. Nice gym with a bunch of treadmills, an elliptical, a stair-master, a number of high tech machines and oddly shaped free weights. The concierge lounge is closed on the weekends which is routine. However as a Titanium, they give me a $26 voucher per night per reservation. So as a family of four, this didn’t even cover two breakfast entrees. Most other properties would give me a voucher per person that would cover and entree and drink. It’s conveniently located with a number of eating and shopping options within walking distance or a close drive by. The Domain is across the highway for upscale shopping. The self parking lot is $20/night which seems high for the location, but much cheaper than downtown. The rooms are nice and clean as expected for a Renaissance. Probably a pretty nice place to have an event like a conference or a wedding.

Very nice hotel for smaller conferences. Great outdoor space for team building. The hotel is older but it is very well maintained. Shower was fabulous and bed comfortable. The only complaint about the room would be that the plugs were old and I couldn’t get my straightener to stay plugged in. Staff were polite and helpful.

Some of the best staff and friendliest service around. The location is beautiful, shops, restaurants and everything you could possibly need is nearby. Will definitely be coming back. We were here while my grandmother was having surgery and the staff were always so sweet and helpful. Its was much appreciated.

The hotel wasn’t the problem. We attended our annual Carrier Convention and we woke up on our second day to many vehicles broken into. Our truck Ford 350 King Ranch was stolen and I reported it to the lost and prevention guy and asked if he had cameras, he told me they did not have cameras. I asked if this has happened before and I was told it has. Many vehicles were broken into and my truck was stolen and another gentleman’s truck was stolen, we were lucky that we were able to track the location of our vehicle so we were able to get it back. I wish we would have known that they had problems with theft and there was no cameras for we would have stayed somewhere else. We work hard and if someone has bad intentions, we should be able to have cameras to go back and see what happened. This day and age cameras are vital!! This hotel isn’t a cheap hotel, it’s pretty e expensive and to not have cameras it’s shameful and makes me feel they don’t care about the customers belonging!! Someone needs to step up and either hire security or put cameras so that the thieves will see that they are being recorded and go somewhere else. These thieves are professional and it was several guys working together!! Please do something Renaissance!!! Protect your Customers!!! I tried to reach out to the GM Rob Gillette, he did not answer my call or has bothered to call me back!! Super upset!!

This is a beautiful well kept hotel with nice rooms. The rooms do not have microwaves or I would give them five stars. There is a microwave on each floor but for a busy conference at full capacity that has been hard. Everything else has truly been excellent.

Great location with plenty of options in the surrounding area. The rooms are good size and produce a cool experience with such an open concept. Two locations to eat inside. With friendly employees. Rooms are cleaned daily with fresh towels and other needs not expected. Beds are comfortable and the hotel in general are nice. Great place to visit and stay or spend some quality time with someone you tend or want to impress. Outside seating area is also nice after dark with a full service bar that closes at 11p. Wait staff are all about service so tip them well. Banquet area is great with huge rooms and a delicious breakfast options.

Darius the bell guy was so nice and considerate. He helped us unload the car and the cart once we got to the room. We got put on a high floor witch was amazing. The hotel itself was so beautiful. Wonderful music playing as you walk in. Cute and comfy areas to sit and relax in the lobby. I definitely want to come back. It's pet friendly too. I just saw a little dog walk in with it's owner. I love it here!

Stayed for one night. Hotel itself is very nice and I like that it has an atrium with the glass elevators. The room itself was also nice and modern. There was a fitness center, and a pool. The elevators were glass and they were also fast. I would stay here again.

It was my second time at the Renaissance hotel. I keep coming here for work. Recently, I was not doing good because of my personal problems. The staff have made me feel special by asking a simple question "how are you?" I feel like I needed to talk to someone and they were there to listen. It does show that they are the right people at the right place. I would like to say a big thank you to general manager Rob, who was the one taking care of me and making me feel comfortable. Also the gentleman behind the reception desk, named Hayden is a really lovely human being, who helped me a lot. Thumbs up for Andy - the maintenance guy, who took his time to help me as well. I am really grateful to you all. Thank you so much for taking me seriously and partially solving my problem. Hope to see you soon <3

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a stay. This site will compare countless hotel sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the highest rated in this area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you choose this place you for sure won't be disappointed. This is such a beautiful hotel with an amazing atmosphere. We stayed here years ago and it’s even better than I remember. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. Drew recommend the best spicy margarita. Howard and Iwest were very welcoming! I can’t wait to come back!

From start to finish, the Renaissance hotel did not disappoint. Comfortable rooms, delightful pool, and very courteous staff. In particular, I'd love to mention about a gentleman named West. When I arrived, he noticed I had a fully packed trunk and he brought me a cart and brought it up to my room. Very pleasant demeanor, and really sets the tone for my visit. He didn't ask me for this review, but I insisted that I wanted to shout him out.

My stay here has been great so far. I’ll list some of my highlights - locations: The hotel is near EVERYTHING. - Staff: very friendly! Hospitality was great. - Shuttle service: I didn’t know about this amenity until I arrived but it’s so useful! Darius knew his way around the city and provided great recommendations.
