This motel has changed tremendously from the last time I was there. So much better, cleaner and friendlier staff! The front desk clerk from today 6/25/22 was exceptional and she had a feeling about her that she's known you for years. Having a great personality and warm smile whenever you are checking into a hotel just puts you at ease with everything else. I didn't catch her name but she she deserves to be praised for the way she represents the motel as the first person that you have interactions with!!!!

I reserved and PAID for a room online with Hotels.com for a couple of employees that were on a work trip. While checking into the hotel after a very long day of work they were told there was no reservation. Not with the confirmation number, not under the name, nothing. They didn't even have other rooms available to offer. Even though I had already paid for a room, days in advance I was forced to book at another hotel close by with no notice causing me to pay triple the amount. Very frustrating and nothing was done to rectify the situation. Not sure who is more at fault, the Extended Stay America or Hotels.com. I use Hotels.com all the time though and have never had an issue like this.

Made a reservation on ACL weekend. Couldn’t check in early at 12. Was not allowed to use the bath room. I was okay with that. Came back late at night (11:30 pm) to a note stating business hours are 7-11 and call for a refund. Legit left me and my group stranded having to sleep in cars. Called the extended stay help center and got hung up on multiple times. Just straight up ignored me after I was asking for a solution and they were basically saying “damn that’s crazy” giving me my money back couldn’t even help being stranded like that after driving 5 hours on a super busy weekend. A nice lady from laundry came to help. They never cleaned and prepped our room anyways and there was legit cockroaches in the lobby

We stayed here for the F1 race so the rates were more expensive than usual. We booked a 2 bed room months ago and checked in around 5pm. At check in we were told they didn’t have the room we originally booked due to flooding in a few of the rooms, which is out of the reps control so I just requested another type of room with at least 2 beds. We were given a room with 1 bed and a pull out sofa at the same rate. The room itself wasn’t very well cleaned and didn’t have any bedding for the pullout, dishes, iron, etc. the drains were clogged and drained very slowly. And when I got up in the morning I saw a few baby roaches. For the price I was definitely upset, but just be warned it’s not the best.

Please, before you book any hotels, look at the reviews. The cons. Smells like cigarette smoke when we got into the room. The hallways smell like damp dogs and weed. There wasn't any room number on the door. The restroom is filthy, and the door to the restroom is broken. The microwave is rusted, and there isn't any kitchenware like it advertised. You have to pay for the wifi. It's not free. The breakfast is a scam. They have coffee, hot water, a basket with 15 granola bars, and two chocolate muffins that they don't refill. So good luck with breakfast. The side door is constantly open because the locks don't work. The cards to open the door work only when they want. The sheets were dirty. There were only three pillows for 4 guests. Cigarette butts are everywhere in and around the building. The pros. The ladies at night are super friendly and tolerant of rude guests. Dear management I understand that this may not be your fault. Because I think the owners don't want to maintain anything. But at least keep the rooms clean. That totally falls on you.

Unclean rooms, no customer service until checkout day they'll finally pop up in the morning to continuously knock on your door for checkout time an hour in advance, smells like cigs and mold throughout the whole hotel, and overall not very safe at all. It was an apartment complex renovated into an extended stay so the good thing was more amenities in your room but they're ancient and rusted.

The Extended Stay rooms are enormous in size... I had an actual bedroom with a living room complete with fold out couch and another bed off to the side. Two cable ready flat screen TVs, kitchen with full size refrigerator / freezer, etc. Pet friendly as well... If you have a support animal please bring your paperwork, they will ask for it. Unfortunately, there is a slight roach problem that I could see. The front desk staff is very courteous and do their job well. However, I did notice that the night staff the front desk phone really never gets tended to if you're trying to reach a guest and during my week-long stay here, there was one time I forgot to put out the coffee and breakfast in the lobby.

The room didn’t have a vanity mirror nor a light. The tv didn’t work and the bed flipped up if you sat on the end. The only thing that made the stay bearable was that each staff member I spoke to bent over backwards to accommodate me. They were the only reason I didn’t cancel. They were gracious and extremely helpful.

I don't recommend this place, almost everything in the room is dirty and neglected, we found a piece of men's underwear in the bathroom when we arrived. They make false propaganda advertising online that they offer breakfast, it is false. There is only coffee, and a few things to grab and go. It seems that the comfort of the guests is not a priority at all. I feel that the price I payed is too high for what I have received. I am very disappointed .

There were roaches and water bugs in both rooms that I reserved. We both had to be moved to different rooms that were not much better. There were no utensils, dishes, pots, or pans in the kitchen. The room key for both rooms had to be reprogrammed numerous times causing an inconvenience of having to walk through the entire building to get to the front desk and sometimes wait to have the key reprogrammed. There were vagrants all throughout the hotel and around the hotel grounds. There were underprivileged individuals residing in the hotel. The back door was propped open by the residents leaving the building unsecured. The stay was horrible to say the least. Latrice, at the front desk, however was very helpful despite the hotel itself.

When we arrived at the hotel, we stood line for almost 30 minutes because rooms were not cleaned. The guy at the desk had to go check each room at check in. He told us our room was cleaned and it was NOT! It had hair on the bed, trash on the floor, beer bottle cap on the floor and many other things. In response to the business response, we immediately checked out. We actually asked for a refund.

I feel the need to warn people about staying here. Don’t expect something luxurious or beautiful or amazing. Me and my friend came to stay here for ACL weekend 2. We were honestly just looking for a place to sleep, nothing crazy, and that’s exactly what we got. We came in to check in and it was busy! The staff was very uninterested in doing their job which I don’t care about, just check me in. But there was this lady who helped us out and I couldn’t get her name but she said she was a manager? She was also off duty and still helping people out. Whoever you are I love you and I wish I saw more of you. The room itself was interesting to say the least. There were appliances falling and breaking and we had no trash can, we asked to get a trash can every day we stayed there and we got absolutely nothing. The water is what I really want to warn people about. There is no hot water. Me and my friend tried taking showers at night or morning and the water was not hot at all. We asked about it and the lady just blamed it on a lot of people using the hot water, but that doesn’t make sense because of the different times we tried to take showers. Housekeeping never came to clean during our stay. Me and my friend are women. This is a sketchy place with very sketchy people around. This is not the hotel’s fault. They can’t help who’s coming in, but it is a warning to my women who wanna do girls trips. Obviously we were dressed for the festival so we weren’t looking normal, we got a lot of stares which I expected because of our outfits, but during the very last day, there was a guy who got a towel from housekeeping, and I was coming out with my stuff to load the car with, he saw me and I just turned the corner and he acted like he was taking a call and felt his eyes on me. I knew he was acting because he went outside, saw me load my car and went inside almost immediately. Thank God it was the last day because as a woman it made me feel very scared. As I said, that’s not a hotel thing, this is just a warning of where this place is located. I know this was long but I hope this helps people choose where they wanna stay at. If prices aren’t that high (we had ACL prices) don’t stay here, spend a little more for a nicer hotel in downtown. I had a great time in Austin and the festival but coming back to this hotel everyday made me wish I went somewhere else. I hope this helps y’all!

The worst I have ever experienced.... rooms are old & stinky. The whole place is filthy. They are so short staffed it's bad.... we waited in the lobby for 45 minutes to get our key reprogrammed. The management company should do a better job of helping the staff they do have. I will never stay at this location or any extended stay property. I'd advice you not to stay either. It's beyond disgusting. I will also mention that a group was trying to check in maybe 10 ladies and after checking in they came right back to the lobby gave the keys back and left as fast as they could. Wish I had done the same.

The room we booked was clean and had everything we needed. Most importantly, the customer service was great. I had some complications while confirming my reservation, and Juliet at the front desk took extra time out of her afternoon to help me get everything sorted and ensure I had everything I needed. I thank her for her kindness and patience and will certainly look at this location next time I need an extended stay in north Austin!

The staff at this hotel has been so very helpful if I've run into any problems they fix it immediately. I sleep so comfortably with the air conditioner keeping the room ice cold and that's one thing I really appreciate efficiently operating Air Conditioning providing me real comfort. If you're looking for a hotel in Austin Texas this is the place to stay!

The stay was lovely. The staff was very helpful by making sure we had hot coffee and clean towels a bonus in books. I would definitely stay at this establishment again and again.

I’ve been living here almost 2 months and the staff here has been great with helping and making sure I was comfortable. Daily check ups, the smiling faces are a plus when I come home from a hard day! Angela, Juliet, Saul, and the manager Courtland have been a blessing to my family and I. There’s never a time they’re not willing to lend a helping hand. I’m greatly appreciative you guys keep up the God fearing work that you’re doing!

BED BUGS!!! ROACHES GALORE!! CRACKHEADS!!! DRUGS!!! SOLICITING!!! LOUD NOISE!!! PARKING LOT HANG OUTS THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT!!! DO NOT STAY HERE AND DEFINITELY DO NOT BRING CHILDREN HERE!!!!. You have been warned!!! MOLD ABOVE THE SHOWER HEAD ON CEILING valid complaints sent through portal were ignored, email for complaints is invalid, forces complaint characters to be reduced when filing, and they expected me to give up on my complaint. Health hazard room. Mold on the shower ceiling, shower head sprayed upwards and everywhere so could not shower without head drenched, long hairs were left on the floor of the shower from the previous guest, floors were not clean & had residue build/caked up, water would not stop running keeping me up at night, there was no spot to place a towel or soap bar in the shower, security latch was completely missing from the door, there was no room # to identify my room, there were guest hanging outside my window making noise all hours of the night, doors slamming throughout the night, there were no carts for transport. AFTER FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE BBB THE COMPANY LIED TO BBB STATING I WAS REFUNDED AS THOUGH I WAS REFUNDED FOR THE INCONVENIENCE OF THE PROBLEMS I FACED WHILE HERE. THEY KNEW I PAID A WEEK AND LEFT EARLY AND WAS REFUNDED ONLY THE DAYS I DID NOT STAY. THAT WAS NOT EVEN PART OF THE COMPLAINT. I WILL NEVER SPEND 1 CENT HERE EVER IN AGAIN. Although this hotel was the dirtiest EVERY CHANCE I GET I WILL JUST DRIVE THROUGH A PARKING LOT IF IT'S EN ROUTE JUST TO WARN ANY POTENTIAL RENTERS OF THE HAZARDOUS CONDITION OF THE ROOMS OF THAT PARTICULAR HOTEL AND TELL THEM I COULDN'T STAY THERE A NIGHT. IT'LL DEFINITELY COST THEM MORE THAN IT COST ME FOR PUTTING UP WITH THAT HOTEL THE DAYS I STAYED.

Really bad experience here. The entire building and rooms were filled with smoking and moldy/dirty smell. The rooms were run down and broken. The hot water did not work for couple of days. My car was broken into and absolutely no assistance from front desk. Run away from this location at all costs. Try the intown suites location where I had a much nicer experience.

It was a breakfast-included booking but no breakfast was there. just a table with a coffee, an oatmeal packet, and a snack bar. That's a total scam. And the staff was not worrying about it. The front desk woman was not supportive. I was in the line to check in for more than 20 mins and decided to leave as I was late for some other plans. They don't have public restrooms or customer restrooms. Even if you are traveling for hours to the hotel, make sure you take some rest somewhere else other than waiting for a long time at the front desk but you can use only your room toilet. They do have a kitchen but no kitchenware. Not even a coffee maker, kettle for hot water. No hairdryer. It seems like it used to be a nice place but now it seems like a place with poor maintenance, management, and customer service. It was overvalued and loss of money. I don't recommend this place to anyone. I could see the same kind of issues being raised by the customers for more than a year, and the hotel management was replying too. This seems like his hotel is almost ignoring the customer review too. LOL. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

**PLEASE AVOID** Zero stars if possible We did a reservation with a year of anticipation. First I called to let them know that I was arriving late. They told me if I was not able to arrive before 11 pm will be considered as no show, I was in Houston at the time. They told me I need to be there before 11pm. I drove leaving my family behind to complete the check in and showed my information (confirmation) they told me there was no confirmation or reservation on my name. Also they told me that no rooms available at the time to accommodate me or my family. I was not the only one with the same issue. They overbooked it and left people without rooms and NO solution. Front Service, customer service, phone, emails super poor. *AVOID* *AVOID*

Room and hallways smelled horrible. There was mold and hair in the shower. The shower curtain did not stay shut due to a broken curtain hanger. Handles and drawers were broken. Roaches!

Think about what you NEVER want to experience when you stay at a hotel, ESA North Central Austin will give that to you and more! - Management turnover happens monthly. Expect new management to blame everything going wrong on the last manager. - Roaches, roaches, and more Roaches! Three different kinds. You can see them hanging out in the hallways and running along floors in broad daylight. They will be in the bathroom, inside dishwashers, coming out of the stove burners while you're cooking, and laying eggs inside cabinets. No exterminators scheduled for weekly treatments. - Hallways always smell like pot. - Rooms don't ventilate and accumulate black mold around windows/bathrooms - which is DEADLY, I might add - and UNSAFE!!!! - Stairwells have trash accumulation and stink badly! Trash is not even picked up all weekend. The trash attracts roaches that will eventually end up in your room. - Plumbing is not functioning correctly. - Hotel will turn off water to your room without notice. - If you raise issue with the dogs running around overhead all night, MANAGEMENT WILL THREATEN TO KICK YOU OUT INSTEAD!!! - Hookers will turn tricks in the stairwell, and not out-of-the-way stairwells either. - Rooms look dated and old. - Furniture is dated and old. - Front desk staff is understaffed, overwhelmed and turnover is extreme. Staff is found often incompetent and in need of proper training - which has affected proper billing of our room at times. And many unfriendly front desk staff. Some not even speaking proper enough English to be able to do their job properly. - People often blasting stereos in their cars in the parking lot, regardless of time of day. - Quiet hours are not enforced. - Drug deals going down in parking lot. - Pee stained hallway carpets. - Open grassy areas filled with dog poop - not cleaned up by guests or hotel staff. - Empty wine bottles and beer cans often found outside of rooms. - Fire alarms going off constantly at varied times, day or night. - Shortage of towels and bed linen - often times I had to come back for them because they had none at the time. - Cleaned linens are often stained. - Dishes, pots and pans, silverware...none. Thank God Walmart is so close by so we could buy the stuff we needed - paper plates, and etc. - Housekeeping has no bleach to properly clean rooms. - Maintenance refused to handle maintenance tasks. Informs us that someone else is supposed to do the task asked to be completed. A lot of back and forth on who is supposed to do what. - Exterior doors were always broken. Key did not work in them. - Lighting fixtures not working properly. If a lightbulb is burned out, good luck getting it replaced! - Hotel phone in room had bad cord and would not stay in wall jack. Front desk would try to call it, and could not get through. We used our cellphones instead, if we needed to reach the front desk. - Not able to get through to front desk when calling. - Gun-free zone property, manager had gun pulled on her. - Management caught having inappropriate relations with guests. - Room rate kept going up, often without notice. - Rusted refrigerator, made loud, clanking noises. The conditions of this hotel are so poor, it should be shut down and condemned. The Pros: - Newly paved parking lot. I wish I could say I was joking about all of this. If you book a room here, you've been warned.

The staff at this hotel are beyond amazing. I am staying here for the next 2 months as I transition to Austin for work. Although my first few days were a bit rough due to toilet issues, the staff really did work around the clock to try and get it fixed and when they could not, they put me in a wonderful new room. They approach all guest with respect and handle anything that comes their way with urgency. Please allow them grace at this time. There are only a few of them staffed at the hotel and many are taking on extra tasks to ensure their guest are comfortable and have what they need. A big thank you to staff and management.

I came into town early morning and one of the women at the front Isabella was very accommodating! She made the early check in process so easy and quick! The staff is very nice! The property is very clean. Only suggestions I would give them is better linen other then that no complaints

On the positive side, we were allowed check-in two hours early and the staff for the most part was very friendly...now for the downside. Didn't have super high expectations as this was a budget hotel we found for an expensive F1 weekend, but boy did it really disappoint in some simple manners. Room was pretty clean and the AC worked well, but the Queen bed was absolutely worn out and had a massive lump on one side. Half of the outlets in the bedroom didn't work or didn't have switch plate covers. The light in the bathroom wasn't working, so you had to use your phone light to take a shower. Parking is a little inconvenient, but you can make do of it. We asked for an extra pillow our first night as the queen bed only had two pillows and we needed one for the pull out bed, they said they didn’t have any more left, so that was a bummer and we had to go to Walmart (thankfully just around the corner) and go buy a pillow. Lastly, our room key wasn't working when we got back Saturday night - we went to go get a new one and they just asked what room and gave us a key, no ID or name was asked for or anything to verify identify; it was an easy process but almost too easy. With that mentality I could have gone and asked for a room key to any room and just entered myself, pretty scary when it comes to security.

TERRIBLE SERVICE!! We booked our room a month in advance, we got our room and it was dirty from the previous person. The bed was undone and so we asked for a new room. They said we could stay in the room with the used sheets for a discount or get a refund because they had no rooms. So we were left with no hotel room and nowhere to stay. No apology from the manager named Bianca. Terrible experience.

Great place to spend your getaway. Room was clean, spacious, well facilitated kitchen. My dog was comfortable too. My wife and I were delighted with the hospitality of Isabel. She is very sweet. Very kind towards our dog. Very welcoming. Definitely would be back if we are in Austin again.

Cigarette butts in the room.. rented a room with a kitchen so I could cook my own dinner but there is no kitchen utensils. Advertisement says fully furnished kitchen/ kitchenette. Not even a cup. There is old food in the cabinet. The room hasn’t been cleaned. It smells like mold. I will never stay at another one again because of the shape of this one. If you want to be cool the hallways are blazing hot which makes it hard to keep the room cool.I hope no one else pays 100 bucks a night for this garbage.
