I was a little tired when I happened to arrive at this amazing coffee spot, but I will say if you live dogs and very patient staff who will let you stumble through a coffee order then this is the place for you. The location looks like a dog park combined with a wonderful coffee shop to find an out doors vibe with loads of character. There are loads of pastries, sadly none I got to try as I was already committed to kolaches. I ordered two coffees to keep me going through the day, the White Chocolate Almond Latte and a Mocha. Both were phenomenal and well prepared. If you like good coffee and the outdoors then this is the joint for you. I'm not sure if they have an inside, but when I went it was window service only.

Lucky Lab was a local coffee shop that I stopped with a small group of friends to get some studying done during a conference. I thoroughly enjoyed some of the pastries that they had available and decided to go with the chocolate/strawberry Pop Tart which was tasty but slightly dry to taste after being warmed. I also ordered just a regular iced coffee that was your average run of the mill coffee. As far as I can tell, it is a nice, quaint coffee shop downtown that has some good outdoor seating but not a lot available. Would definitely come back again.

just had the worst cold brew ever…maple cinnamon oat cold brew was the menu item, described as being topped with a “splash” of oat milk. ordered it a quarter sweet since sweet coffee isn’t really my thing. got this drink that’s clearly at least equal parts oat milk and whatever they’re trying to pass off as cold brew. It just tasted like watery cinnamon flavored oat milk, like there wasn’t a single drop of coffee in the drink. whoever is making the cold brew there…please stop, for harm reduction purposes. I would honestly appreciate a refund for this. 2 stars because the pastry I got was good, and I’ve gotten good pastries there before but…will not be back for the tasteless watery “cold brew”

Cute cafe in west campus. The shop is in the lobby of an apartment building, and seems to share the lounge area on the bottom floor. Plenty of seating (social distancing rules in place) and retro decor. Try the honey oat latte.

Kinda cute decor, good atmosphere, fair pricing, and lots of basic white girl drinks (not a bad thing). I ordered a double shot of espresso and it looked like this. That should say just about everything you need to know about the coffee.

Great service and friendly staff! And amazingly delicious drinks and food! Easily seen from street. Street parking and nearby paid parking. Plenty of outdoor seating. My first time here was a chai latte and croissant with bacon and cheese. I will most definitely be coming back again when in the UT campus area to explore more of their menu!

Awesome food and better coffee. Had a great time there. Inside wasn’t super stroller friendly, but they have a great walk up window, so it’s not an issue.

My family and I love Lucky lab! Their coffee is delicious & the pastries(especially the pop tarts) are awesome too! We’ve always received friendly and prompt customer service. It’s a great place to bring your dog, our golden retriever is a big fan of all the treats and pets he gets. Check it out whenever you’re near campus!😊

Great coffee shop with friendly staff. We tried the coffee flight so we could try multiple flavors and they were all great. My favorite was the special Thai drink they have this summer. Plenty of outdoor seating too!

Wonderful service! We ordered breakfast catering for a board mtg event and even though we were going through the winter storm (and other vendors canceled on us which is understandable given the weather conditions in Austin), Lucky Lab Coffee still came through and delivered as promised. Super friendly staff and excellent service. We will for sure order from them again!! Great job Lucky Lab Coffee staff!

I must say, I loved Lucky Lab! Their customer service is wonderful, and the staff was so friendly. The first time I went there I ordered a latte that was too sweet for my liking, so they made a different latte for me that was just perfect even though they made the original exactly like I ordered. They prioritize customer service, and their cinnamon rosemary latte is one of the best lattes I have ever had! The spices and warmth from the latte is like a hug on the inside. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this place, highly recommend!!

I love how dog friendly it is. The atmosphere were very welcoming. They have many merchandise that’s for dog and some related product! Live it. The coffee wise is very interesting, maybe just not my taste. Still recommended!

Loved this coffee spot during our stay in Austin. Our hotel was a five minute walk away. We came here twice during a short visit for their summer special drink- the Thai brew. It is Thai tea mixed with coffee and I loved the combo, super refreshing with a perfect ratio of the two. If it’s on the menu, try it out! You go up to the window to order your drinks. There’s bar seating inside and larger patio seating to the side. The dog theme is super cute!

Unique and excellent little find just off the main street. This inviting yard has a very friendly staff and great tasting child brew made to my request. Thanks for having me!!

Still one of my favorite coffee shops in Austin. The coffee is always delicious, and their pastries are made fresh and taste amazing. The staff is always smiling and very kind! Looking forward to their Winter menu soon!

Visited several times while staying in West Campus. Drinks were consistently good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food wasn't the highlight, but was about what I expected at a coffee shop — and was good enough that we ordered something each visit. Outdoor seating was good for small parties or big groups.

Awesome spot, limited indoor seating (like 5 chairs) so really only viable to study at when weather is really nice. But staff is great, coffee is great, vibe is great, tons of outdoor seating.
