Brilliant vegan curry with actually seasonal vegetables (that were worth the price). They even added okra! The cashier was very welcoming, as it was my first visit. Got the order very quick and everything was well heated. My dish was the grilled tofu bowl. I don’t feel that heavy after finishing. Will be coming back here if I am digging curry again! Well done Sa-tén.

Good co-working environment. The atmosphere is pleasant and the food/coffee is honestly amazing. The tofu plate with macaroni salad and kale salad is one of my favorite regular meals in Austin.

I love this place. It's chill, mostly quiet, has plenty of outlets, and has great tea. It's a nice place to just hang out and read or get some work done.

Great food but definitely more a coffee shop vibe. Little on the pricey side but taste was spot on. Got the grilled chicken rice bowl with curry on the side, both were awesome

Oh my! 😊 I ordered the chicken Kara-Age plate by recommendation of a coworker. The Yukari rice was great with the chicken. The kale salad was good. The samurai sauce over top the rice and chicken was to die for. For fans of spicy sauces. I was thoroughly impressed with this dish and restaurant. I'd totally recommend the restaurant to anyone.. You definitely should check it out.

Really nice coffee shop and eatery. Great selection of food with different tastes and diet options for everybody. I had the sausage and waffle fries which was absolutely delicious. My coffee was great too and free refills with drip coffee. Nice space with good natural and artificial lighting. Also a good environment for both studying and chatting.

This was the home of Komé which has moved down the street. What always felt like too small of a space for a restaurant works wonderfully well as a coffee shop/eatery. The menu is Japanese focused and the menu has good offerings for vegetarians and people looking for gluten free. Nice seasonal drinks and the food I got was tasty. Nice relaxing atmosphere for working or just hanging. My only minuses are the parking lot is super small and they are on the opposite side of town from where I live.

I’ve been hearing a lot of good reviews about this place so decided to give it a try last weekend. First of all, they have a huge parking lot, but the entrance is a bit hidden on the right side. Upon entering, I found the place playing a pretty basic Japanese fusion diner vibe. You basically get to pick your own table and then place your order by the counter. I tried their lunch menu and matcha. Lunch sets were alright, the katsu pork curry bowl was pretty good, but the chicken karaage was just ok. My favorite thing from Sa Ten was actually their rose matcha latte. It was beautifully presented and tasted really yummy. I’m giving a 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ bc this particular store is a bit old and not super comfy.

The environment is super cute. I ordered an espresso and the taste was difficult to drink, and I usually only drink espresso. My friend order the signature brown sugar cappuccino was was tasty.

Great milk bread toast for breakfast. The hot apple cider winter special is very refreshing. A very interesting cafe has a tatami room inside🤩

Really cute and quiet little coffee shop, so great for working. They also have some fun snacks to try. I came here when I was torrentially hungover to meet with a friend and I'm so glad he picked a dark, quiet cafe to chat because I don't think I could've handled a loud restaurant. The service was really friendly and I'd definitely return.

Just like their other location on east Austin, Sa-Ten continues to knock it out of the park. Love the food and coffee options. The katsu is my favorite with Japanese curry as a side, potato salad is a fantastic extra side.

Unassuming little spot. We ordered 2 dishes and they both are amazing! It totally caught us by surprise. We definitely will be back when we are back in the area again.

This place is a hidden gem! I've only had drinks here, but their chai iced tea is super good! It has a nice low key and welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff!

SO CUTE. we just got some teas and they were good but not phenomenal, but the FOOD they offer is actually very good quality I was so surprised with how tasty it was! and the vibe definitely makes the visit here worth it. they have a little japanese style private room which is where we sat, outdoor seating and normal seating. they also have free wifi. staff was very nice. quick service despite long lines. they have free private parking but if lot gets full there is also free street parking available.

Love this cute little Japanese cafe. Everything was good and our favorite was the egg salad sandwich. Everything was made fresh. The girl who helped us was very sweet.

the espresso was alright, a little on the sour side for my tastes but the tea was much better and the food is AMAZING, definitely come here for their lunch menu if nothing else!

Came here yesterday morning to check it out. My boyfriend and I were both able to get some work done while getting toast and drinks. I had tea and anchovy and garlic toast, which was surprisingly amazing. They even have a printer! Cute and great service.
