I’m one of those guys who is loyal to a barber once I find a good one I was used to my barber and didn’t know the difference between a good cut and just getting butchered A friend recommended these guys to me never in my life have I seen a passionate and skilled barber before. Fully qualified as well!!! He surely knows what he is doing. Amazing service and literally the best hair cut I’ve had ever. When you book make sure you’re not in a hurry to leave trust me you’ll never want to leave. I now make sure I go every day for the coffee. Amazing advice for hair and beard maintenance. Coffee is king. I say this because I love my coffee STRONG and with good flavour, now when I asked the female staff member of this place "is your coffee good" her response was "let me make one for you and you decide" and honestly thats what I want to hear. The coffee was STRONG and the flavour was so good. Now I know what your going to say "but this is a barber shop", well I didnt have time for a cut but I will be back and ill most definitely get a hair cut next time when I have more time. The Staff, the lady at the front was really nice and friendly which is what you want. The location is great, situated in the beautiful GLOBE LANE. 5 out of 5 for this amazing joint.

Walk in for hair & beard trim. Friendly, relaxed atmosphere & conversation. Asked questions, gives tips on how to keep hair & beard in better condition. Also get a coffee while getting hair cut, & pet friendly, looking after my Husky whilst getting haircut. *Staff lovely saying hello even when not there for a haircut or coffee, passing through/walking dog. They bring a nice vibe to Globe Lane, friendly with neighbouring businesses (they're also great). It's a credit to them & community there, why I'm a returning customer, walk dog & try other businesses in Globe Lane.

The young girl who cut my hair today did such a great job as an apprentice, even better than some experienced barbers have done in the past. Coffee was also excellent. Great little spot, and highly recommend!

Being used to a high standard of quality haircuts after living in Sydney, I’ve been looking for a barber that could deliver the same quality since moving to Wollongong 2 years ago. Braden is hands down the best barber in town and I won’t be trusting anyone else with my hair since I found his shop. Amazing haircuts, in an awesome shop with great coffee. Don’t go anywhere else for your haircuts (or coffee), both are top shelf and I’m glad Wollongong has finally got a barber shop to rival the best shops in Sydney. Bonus: You can book in, which, for people like me who love a structured day, it’s a lifesaver.

Been twice so far and experience has always been nice. Both of them are really nice and welcoming. Also got more information on how to better maintain and look after my beard. Plus it’s right in the middle of everything whether you want a bar to go or afterwards or cafe.

By far the best Barber in Wollongong. Have tried most places around town and finally found someone who can cut hair and cut it damn well! Having lived in Melbourne for decades Essentials coffee is right up there, spot on exactly how it should be done, I'll be back for regular morning fixes. Cheers

The team do an excellent job, super friendly and make a great coffee. Love the fact that you can make a booking online and don’t need to wait hours like other places. Will definitely be a regular here from now on.

Was struggling to find a good barber but stumbled upon essentials by a recommendation from a mate and it was my best haircut I’ve ever received. My barber was braden and I couldn’t have asked for more , good attention to detail and clearly loves what he does. The lady that washed my hair and served me coffee was also very lovely $45 for a quality haircut , hair wash and a coffee you couldn’t ask for more. Definitely recommend giving them a go
