The station is small compared to other big station in cities, Most of the intercity train doesn’t stop on these small stations, so people don’t have much options if there are leaving by, even Uber doesn’t operate in these remote areas. So they have limited ride options, either they have to on private car or they take lift from their family friends or relatives. I don’t like living in areas like these. I go to blue mountains daily and it’s like : going to whole other world…!

Nice trail to walk on as you look over the Sydney basin and view the cutting they made for the old rail line

The only thing visible is a small platform and nothing else, you would only visit the station if you are visiting the Knapsack Viaduct.

Enjoy the ride or walk and be transported back in history when the Lapstone zigzag this track was used and Lucasville railway station platform was once used for passengers to disembark and the train would continue to cross the mountains to the Lithgow and the plains ahead

Just an abandoned platform full of weeds. The local council didn't put any information of this site. I couldn't understand how google map put this site as an "attraction". I don't think this place worth a detour.

Interesting area to walk. Would love to know where the house was.
