👍👍 Brilliant beach on the famous Harbour. Nice easy waves, warm water, historic jetty and wide level sand with native vegetation along the back. You could be anywhere, you can find a deserted spot and stay for the day. Located at the trendy Jetty precinct. Teach the kids to surf or learn yourself.

This still functioning, red & white striped lighthouse was first constructed in 1858.

👍👍 Such an amazing place. Reading the plaques about the old buildings and history was really cool, make sure to fins the cottage ruins, it was a highlight. The river was so clear and beautiful... I wanted to have more time to explore down stream. It would be a great spot to visit when it's warm enough...
