A very nice art stop with a nice quality exhibition and a very arty workspace + restaurant. A good view of the outside and grassy area for some small walk and fresh air. Very nice 4 star review.

Beautiful gallery, beautiful gardens, still encasing the original home. A summers day would be lovely here. easy parking for all, easy to navigate for people with Mobility issues, staff very friendly. Main gallery was closed, as they were setting up for new artist's, but was still able to see paintings from various artists in large foyer, and gallery store on site. No problems with taking pictures of art. Cafe food was a bit of a disappointment, was not hot, so took it back, which they promptly recooked. Still wasn't hot (poached eggs need to be hot). It was still tasty though. Doesn't put me off coming back, as after all I was there for the art after all

I was at the gallery having a drink, unfortunately it was not a very pleasant experience. It took about 40 minutes for a couple of drinks to be made and served, customer service was slow and not friendly, and the iced coffee I had was not worth the wait. Would not recommend for a small get together too loud, hot and non efficient.

Gallery was amazing. Food in restaurant was delish:) Unfortunately, one big bald man from the restaurant ruined our experience after berating us for not picking a table before ordering our food - even though the restaurant was 90% empty and my sister pointed to a perfectly suitable table indoors to sit at. He also said we couldn't add a small table to the chosen table so we could have a spot for the baby and said we needed to sit out in the sun with our 18month old in the heat. We respectfully ignored him and added the table. I did say that he should have a sign with the rules if he is going to berate customers about ordering before picking a table. Very unnecessary behaviour.

Free entry here, good place to walk around. I enjoy the peaceful atmosphere on the bench provided in the garden. Lots of free parking by the street. You can enjoy your meal in the Cafe as well.

Food eatable but certainly overpriced for its presentation (wine also) salads a bit sad, not everybody is vego or vegan, needs more pasta dishes. Restaurant seating and table area has an overall grimy look. Gardens peaceful to stroll in, but would have like to have visited inside the retro cottage, but not open to the public on Saturdays, a bit strange!

When we arrived, we ordered steak and fish and chips. It took half an hour for our food to come out. The quality of the fish and steak was very poor. The fish was very cheap and fishy with very bad and cheap batter. The steak came in a sandwich which we didn’t want. The steak was in a small portion and it had French fries inside the sandwich.

I really enjoyed this place. Some great and clever art was on display. You can enjoy a meal and something to drink, then go for a stroll on the pathway outside

I am here on holidays from Ireland meeting with my family .While out for a walk I came upon this lovely place to stop and to take a break. The park was lovely and so well looked after the staff and the food in tea rooms was great and the staff were lovely and so well trained. Looking forward to calling in Again

We loved Hazelhurst. Superb, fresh and tasty food. Grilled Octopus with Hummus. Pumpkin flowers with ricotta. Fish and Chips. The most flavourful veggie risotto and bruschetta with goats cheese, fig and Italian pork. Beautiful. The gardens are green and relaxing. The Art Gallery is filled with memorable and striking Art. Bravo, Thankyou Team 👍🥳

Wonderful venue from weddings to a cuppa or yummy lunch in the restaurant and garden. The main gallery is on the other side of the restaurant. Lots of activities in the working studios . They also have volunteers doing talks on the latest exhibits. Ken is my favourite.😁 Beautiful art and craft for purchase in the shop. Best of all the current exhibitions were free.

Delicious food and lovely space for the kids to play. I'd have given the place a 5/5 but the balding bloke with an accent (I think he's the owner or manager) is a flog. His staff are lovely but he's a punish.

$$$ at the café, food is nice but not outstanding and portion sizes are small for the price average of $25 and for that price you would expect table service. Unfortunately they were installing a new exhibition so half the gallery was empty/under construction.

We have Hazelhurst to thank for planning 2 weddings for us, with the first attempt having to be called off at the last minute, Lisa and the team were very understanding and accommodating throughout even with our plans and party size changing. The venue itself is an amazing and unique space accommodating both small and large groups, we held our ceremony and photos around the gardens and then our cocktail style reception in the cafe which has plenty of indoor space as well as outdoor decking. Lisa also added her own decorations and flare to the evening, and worked really well with our other vendors. Everything was so organised we just arrived with everything having been done, which meant we could spend the evening with friends and family. The kitchen also helped us out with some tweaks to the menu to cater for our group of picky eaters. We would highly recommend Hazelhurst as an easy and unique wedding venue!

Hazelhurst I'd a beautiful little gem hidden in the Gymea area. Stunning tranquil grounds with a lovely Cafe to sit and enjoy some drinks and an interesting menu. To add to this the Art gallery is fantastically curated with diverse exhibitions masterfully laid out and installed. Great for families to couples, old to young or those that would like a nice coffee and some quiet time.

Nice (but exxy) cafe/bar, my go-to dish here is the duck salad. Coffee is good, too. They have licence so you can order nice alcoholic beverages. There's a nice little art shop and wonderful (free) exhibitions that change quite regularly. Best part about this place are the art/clay lessons for both kids and adults. We've been coming here every year for five years and it never gets old. I only wished they had two or three-weekend only art classes for adults/kids during term, and a glass art-making class. Would also be great if they can put more seating /tables within the grounds /garden

The food was fantastic! The deconstructed sushi and Lamb shanks with the zesty potato were an absolute hit! The owner is an absolute legend and such a great host! We were here for a wedding and it was a beautiful place to hold an intimate and romantic setting. Would highly recommend trying their menu or holding intimate private wedding and functions here.

We came here for a christening lunch. It was absolutely perfect weather and the atmosphere was just lovely looking over the gardens. The food was by far some of the best I've had, probably ever... the duck salad and the mozzarella and blood orange salad were delicious. I wish I stopped to take photos, but it was too delicious to wait 💞 The staff were so friendly and attentive to everyone and the way it was all put together was great! All good things, good vibes and hopefully we will be back soon 💛 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
