I decide to visit this place based on a google review, and one comment said, "this was the best cocktail bar in Europe." I must say I do second it, as the staff will go beyond and make some customized cocktails for you with your preference, so you do not need to stick with the menu. Staff came and asked about our tastes, likes/ dislikes, and they bought a surprise cocktail for my girlfriend and me. I have never tasted such a good cocktail in any other place. Also, they were told if we do not like any taste, just tell them so they could mix and match again. I'm glad I trusted and let them make a surprise drink as it was the best. The way they have presented the glass was pretty cool too. Thank you very much, and wishing you success. If I ever revisit Salzburg, I would come and visit again. 100% satisfied.

Funky little cocktail bar with some very unique flavors and mixes. One drink even hap popcorn as an ingredient. It’s a great place to pick up a night cap on the way back to Old Town or off the river. The decor really makes this place its own.

Amazing and beautiful place, very nice and helpful waiters and barman, great spot to have original « sur mesure », tasty cocktails. The snacks are not more than what they are, but I gladly forgive them. A place to go if you visit Salzburg !

Mixology at its finest! What a delightful bar/cafe. We just stumbled upon it while walking back to our nearby hotel. Well laid out, comfortable chairs, interesting decor. There is quite an extensive cocktail menu along with a very decent section of whisky, gin, vodka, brandy, cognac, rum So you can feel comfortable with any of these. However, the staff here are mixologists. They will ask you what you prefer to drink along with the why. The discuss if you like sweet, sour, herbal, etc. From this they will concoct a little something just for you. They then ask you your opinion. Want another round? You can have them tweak your custom drink or take you in another direction. They have a very nice food menu. Very well done selections of small plates with some oriental directions. If you are in Central Salzburg, this establishment is an easy 5 - 10 minute walk from the river. You should give it a try. You will be glad you did.

I’ve been to many fine cocktail places and I have quite a high bar, but honestly, Burdock is one of the very best in Europe. The drinks are very creative and elegant, the base choice is broad, and the staff is amazing and ready to improvise based on your taste. Also great atmosphere and music!

The cocktails tasted great but are way to expensive in my opinion. It was really crowed and cramped an therefore really loud. Couldn't understand a word. Also the waiter/waitress were a little to attentive in my opinion. I don't want to get asked if everything is okay every two minutes. Not my first choice for drinks but also ok.

The staff here deserves 10/10 stars. Super friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. They have delicious cocktails. It was hard to pick one!

Very nice place that offered a host of beverages from staff are very skilled mixologists. I preferred the mango curry and found it quite refreshing. Highly recommend.

Without a doubt the best cocktail bar that I have ever been to. The atmosphere is enchanting, the staff is super friendly and attentive, you're given constant water refills (without a charge) and you are treated with respect and a wish to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The cocktails are amazing, the attention to detail when making them is unimaginable and the way they are served is super imaginative! My boyfriend ordered a Tom Kha Gai and it was served in a noodle box, so cool!

We had a lovely evening at Burdock Punch & Cocktails! We were actually recommended this bar by the barman in another establishment, and were delighted to find that he was right. A charming little bar with inside and outside seating, a great selection of cocktails in all kinds of ingredients and vessels, with kind and helpful service by Attila, who offered to make us anything we fancied even if it wasn't on the menu. Well worth a visit, if you're looking for a nice place for a drink that's away from all the tourist hubbub!

Burdock’s bartenders fashioned the most delicious cocktails I had while traveling in Bavaria and Austria. The Hungarian who owns the bar is a classic mixologist, with all the skill of my favorite American bartenders. His Austrian protege is on his way to greatness as well. If you are in need of a well balanced cocktail while in Salzburg, you should seek this bar out!

If you like cocktails this is a must visit. They will explain, but do not order from the menu, tell them what you like, what you dislike and a few minutes later an amazing cocktail personalised to your tastes is in front of you. Want something wierd, a variation on a classic, hot cocktails... You got it. This is way better than cocktail bars like Alchemy. Definitely worth a visit if you are in Salzburg, this is a destination cocktail bar.

Amazing cocktail bar with unique drinks and friendly knowledgeable staff. If you don't see something you like on the menu, you can tell them your favorite styles, spirits and flavors and the bartender will create one for you.

I sadly could not stay for more than one drink. Burdock welcomes with space between tables, great music that's not too loud so one can speak and hear. The cocktail list is both large and innovative (most cocktail bars feature one or the other). I took the Africa punch (there's one for each continent) featuring Ethiopian coffee and dates, and it was really interesting, with layers of taste, which I didn't anticipate as coffee can easily overwhelm everything. A++, would go back :)

This place is a must visit if you love superior, creative craft cocktails. Their attention to detail is superb and Tobi is an excellent host. Five stars, I highly recommend!

Don't hesitate to ask them for the flavors that you want! They're geniuses. I don't know how they they did it but with just couple of vague pointers from my side I had cocktails that were so perfect they filled a hole in my soul. This place was the highlight of my trip in Salzburg.

Excellent service and cocktails! The decor and the lighting create a beautiful, cozy, and romantic ambiance. It's also fun to go with friends, as the cocktail selection is quite varied and unique. The menu is also always changing apparently. It's a small place, so make sure to reserve a table.
