Went with my wife on January 6, 2023. I had spaghetti bolignese and my wife had a pizza, half 4- cheese, and the other half prosciutto. The pizza was enormous and crispy. My wife liked the taste. The spaghetti was "al dente" and the meat's taste very well condimented with its rosemary. The total price came at just under 40 euros, including drinks(beer and coke). Service was curteous.

We went there last night and were seated outside, the atmosphere was nice and the food was good. But our waitress was quite rude, I don't know why(maybe because we didn't tip). After we left, we said goodbye, but she didn't answer and was mumbling something at us in a very unfriendly manner. Overall, I didn't feel good about the experience.

The worst pizza I’ve ever had!! The Margherita was just a cold dough with a thin layer of tomato sauce and ONE cherry tomato, the basil stated in the ingredients list was missing! Parmigiana didn’t have the garlic oil for which I’ve paid extra The receipt also came all dirty with sauce! Absolutely no respect and a total mockery to the client!

Had lunch here and the staff was really friendly! They provided an English menu as well and it was no issue to get extra chicken with our food. They also offered free salads with both of our meals. While we were there the restrooms were being renovated so we had to use portable restrooms outside which worried me at first but the women's restroom was very clean!

Visited losteria at 10pm today. Took a long while to be seated. Once seated, my family and i ordered our drinks and pizza. Staff did not ask which size of coke we preferred and just served us the largest. After serving us our drinks, the staff told us that the kitchen was closed! If the kitchen would be closed soon, why didn’t the waiter warn us and still serve our drinks? If i knew that i wouldn’t get my food, i wouldn’t have ordered the drinks or enter the restaurant. What a waste of time and money. Beware losteria’s chefs strikes at 10.30pm sharp!! Even their service staff was shocked on my unfulfilled order …we were left with no dinner :(

Salzburg was one of our stops around Europe for our honeymoon, and happened to fall around lunchtime when we arrived. We walked through the high street, taking in some amazing sights along the way, until we found this little gem. It looked to be 'full' due to a majority of the tables having a reserved sign on them, but the tables were empty. When we asked if we could sit, we were shown a seat outside on the street which was amazing. This allowed us to soak in the area, and sun! The waiter was amazing, his service of us was outstanding and his English was on point. He took our orders promptly and the items arrived quickly. Raspberry lemonade was amazing! so refreshing on a hot day. Highly recommend this one! My wife went with the Caesar salad pizza, I know sounds odd! but it was a thing. She loved it where the dressing was found, but a good amount of the pizza was blank base with nothing on it as this pizza has no sauce on the base, so was very dry. Over all she found the whole pizza to be dry. What dressing items she found was incredibly tasty, but overall a shame. So be mindful of that one. If you order olives on top, keep in mind you will receive 6 individual olives which for the price you pay extra is not worth it. Mine however.... I had salami with extra mushrooms. The flavour and texture was mouth watering. We were wondering why they give you a little sheet of paper to go on the table, that's because the pizzas they server are so big they overhang the plates they're served on. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone on the lookout for great food and service.

Bad service!!!!! We just went there looking for a table of 2. We came with no queue. People came behind get a seat without reservation. At first we thought some got reservations however, got 3 couples went in with no reservation, they all came behind me! The waiter never ask me at all when they are no people at the back until i asked for a table! He pretended replied, he told me that the pizza need 30-35mins. Excuse me!!!! May I know how could he knows that I want to order a pizza?!!!!! I only asked for a seat! What a worst experience in this restaurant to the customer! 😖😢 (No mean to the popular restaurant but the waiter who worn a white long sleeve shirt today!)

The food was okay, not great. The price was great 40€ for 2 people (appetizers, main course drinks). Atmosphere is very lively. The service was also good.

Great value and location. Lots of seating outside. Friendly staff. My family and I ate here 3 times when we were in Salzburg. Pasta and pizza portions are big so great for family style sharing so that everyone can try everything. The food is tasty enough, but I think most come here for the value. Super kids friendly too as the outdoor seating is along a sloped street with a top to bottom water feature where kids often float boats or balls down it. Tips: 1) can ask to have pizza split on two plates without a fee, 2) every pasta they can do a small portion for a few euros cheaper that is more than enough for a 9-11yr old.

Nice to place to eat. We were on a trip to Salzburg and had dinner after a visit at Mozart Wohnhaus. Price is reasonable (10-15€ range for main dish). Service was a bit slow and we felt slightly discriminated by having to show our EU Vaccine Certificate while none of the following patrons had to the same. All in all, food & price are good so it's what matters.

Easy 5 star rating! Found this place after searching for recommended Italian restaurants in the area. We were 8 people, 5 of them are children. The staff welcomed us very kindly, the food was delicious, came in large dishes and the service was great! Also, the restaurant is located near the city center, shops and attractions.

The usual queue to get in is proof of how attractive the place is. At the same time, lots of people, noise and stressed waitresses do not help a relaxed ambiance. Food (in our case pizza) is great, typical, good old Italian style at reasonable prices. On the other hand, portions are that big that no dessert fits in anymore! Beware!;-)

The food tastes great and the portion was exceeding the value that was paid. Most of the staff were not very friendly except for one. The food took so long to be served.

So happy with the service and the food at this L'Osteria location. Thank you in particular to our server, Eric, who without a doubt was the best server we've had this past week in Europe! Very attentive and accommodating. Appreciate you!

Ordered a pizza which was really good. But the waiter forgot my order. My friend had already eaten his dish by the time I got the pizza. Might be because the restaurant was really busy at the time with a lot of people. Really nice place to eat, good atmosphere.

Fast, Friendly nice service and delicious food A bit pricier than others but worth every cent ! Just can recommend that place. I’ve been here many times, alone or with family….

Can't really comment on the food as we didn't eat here but I can comment on the service. We queued up for 10-15 minutes waiting to get a table and when we got at the front of the queue we asked for a table for 7 (4 adults and 3 children). The unfriendly (Italian?) lady said that she could not accommodate us as there was no space and asked us to leave. On the way leaving the restaurant we noticed 3 tables of 4 chairs available (the middle one had a reserved sign on it) and pointed out to the lady that there was space available. She asked if we wanted to sit separately??? in different tables. I calmly and with a smile pointed out the reserved sign could be moved to the next table so that we could sit together. Her response was rather rude saying "Since you know better than me how to do my job you can sit down". I said, "thank you but because of your attitude we will go elsewhere to give our money to someone else". She said" As you wish!".

Full over real capacity, stuff in run, hard to order second drink. Food is good, but members of our group (9) were served with delay.

If you want huge tasty pizzas at a very reasonable price then this is the place! Plenty out seating indoors and outdoors but I would still recommend to book a day or 2 in advance as it gets full pretty quick on a nice day. The pizzas are great and the pastas are very good (according to my partner). Service is great but please be aware when it's busy you may have to wait a little longer.

We ate here on our last day at Salzburg and wished to come earlier or at least more 😁 just like stating in the menu, pizzas have quite large portion and they’re not only big and filling, also super tasty. Location is great and the place itself really spacious. Definitely recommend 👌🏻

Delicious food, fast service, and a wonderful vibe! They have the largest pizza I’ve ever seen and *the best* Caesar salad I’ve ever had! Unmissable!

If you are looking for an Italian restaurant with well made pizza and pasta this mate bee the place for you. We had a good meal with well made, good looking and wonderfully tasting food. The service was outstanding and the waiting for the food was short.

Wonderful experience. My kids loved the Margherita pizza & bolognese. Everything was delicious & our server was a joy! We’d go back for its great location, service, & food.

I‘ve had a dinner here at a recomandation of a friend. I have to say the pizza is huge! Despite the huge line at the front, the quality of ingrediends really lets it down. The picante salami was not really expected, but okay if you want to grab something quick. Also, pasta dishes are very huge. Friendly staff though!

Possibly, the worst Calzone I’ve ever seen. The review might be i fluenced by the 1h wait time… but never had a great experience when eating here, so 2 stars it is 👍🏼

We ordered the quinoa salad which was wonderful! (Picture included) It also came with a small basket of bread (condensed but yummy!) Had the panna cotta for desert which was nice, but pretty small and not amazing, but good. The staff was very kind and fluent in English, but our spot and the waiter-customer ratio were terrible. If my wife didn't calm me I would've left the money on the table and left. I didn't try the pizza but it seems everyone around us had it and finished it too (it's pretty large!) Would return, but probably sit at the bar for faster service.

Good food. Great service. Nice terrace with water next to it in which kids can play when good weather. We enjoyed the 2 person antipasta. A tip for management : allow people to sit first and check the covid certificate when they order. This is how the other restaurant do it. Now it is a bit chaos as people see a spot, get seated and your personal need to address people to queue first which is not a nice experience.

This is definitely the busiest Osteria that I have been too. Compared to other outlets, service lacks a bit due to the very busy waiters. Food is good but less good than other Osteria.

We orderd CAPRESE & RUSTICA .The restaurant was great and nice. We waited about 20 minutes at the bar to get a table but its ok , although the pizza was fresh and delicious , it was warm so we asked to heat it up.. for me this place one of the best place to visit in Munich , and this was my first visit to this branch Salzburg

They have one of the best pizzas in the town, there are many kinds of pizzas to select. I recommend to sit outside, if you have kids especially. There is water flowing where children can be busy with the water flow, bring couple of small plastic balls so children can throw in the flowing water and then follow them down the stream, children love it. Their pasta is equally good. In summers it's a perfect place to eat, drink and observe the people around, but only if you're not local like me.
