Please set location to when you travel "Nelligudde Kere Reservoir ViewPoint" The other points take different route and you might land on with a dead-end. A very beautiful place with road, footpath and water view all together. Visit during evening time for sunset. There is a huge tree under which vehicle can be parked. Not crowded. Local people sit around to chit chat and walk.

Google maps shows you some inner roads try not to take it as it leads you into a farm. Take the main highway and take a right at Bidadi, it's 1.5 km from there. There is no place to sit and relax so visit accordingly.

A short drive from Bangalore, hidden from the urban jungle. Drive through mangroves, villages, green fields, it's just amazing. On the Google maps, set location as Nelligudde Kere Reservoir view point and avoid other markings. There are two reservoirs, one is Manchanabele Dam and the other is Nelligudde Dam. When asking for directions ask specifically for Nelligudde otherwise the locals will assume it's the former. There are plenty of peacocks and variety of birds around this lake. Listen to their sounds carefully. Make sure you do not carry any eatables or plastic to this place. This place is naturally clean and hopefully it remains like that. The local farmers and people are very kind do respect them you will be surprised how they treat visitors.

Nice serene view of nature. Good for short visits near Bangalore. Cycle path for cyclist. One cannot get into water at every point though, was able to see snake. Very near to bidadi.

A lovely place to visit to witness a lovely sunrise and calm your nerves after a busy week. A path with a beautiful lake on one side and green lucious fields and palm trees on the other. The cool breeze and beautiful scenery makes this place an ideal, peaceful weekend morning. The early morning drive from Bengaluru is also smooth with good weather, negligible traffic, and a glance of the newly built highway to Mysuru! (Do make sure you have a personal vehicle).

Located some 7 km from Bidadi,Mysore Road, towards Nelamangala, this is a very picturesque lake having very fascinating view of hills around. Once the Mysore Expressway starts functioning the distance would become not more than 2 kms. There is nothing except a huge lake. There is a Peepal tree by the lake where you can take rest like many others villagers. You can hear Peacock sounds from here. All around the lush green fields fascinate the mind and the mood. Just go there with your camera and start taking some superb clicks.

Peaceful large lake close to Bengaluru. Morning walkers and exercising people are common here. Nice place to sit and relax. Please do not litter and help keep the place clean.

Beautiful large lake with a walking path atop the lake bund. Keep in mind that there aren't any trees, so it gets really hot in the afternoon with no place to sit and watch the lake. Best for visiting during sunrise/sunset.

Great place for morning visit. One advice is that if the Google maps shows you some inner roads try not to take it else you will end up in a farm. Take the main highway and after right at bidadi it's close by. Some local idiots were putting garbage into the lake, hope that reduces
