The advertised tour lasted only 30 minutes instead of 45, it is ridicolously overpriced compared to what you get and our guide was rude as well. It is not their fault that Aveiro is a generic tourist trap though, a very cheap and small imitation of the Italian Venice.

Cons: 1) tour started 25 mins late because they were trying to get more passengers 2) there's not much to see. This would be the same for any boat tour Pro: 1) the tour guide, Dora, was funny and engaging. The 13 euro price tag should be seen as a way to hear about aveiro from a local rather than to see anything in particular. 2) it's the cheapest tour. Use the coupon 'aveiromoments' to get 10% off at the online checkout

I really don't know what all the great reviews are about!?! It's the worst boat tour I've ever been on. It is a tour of semi-run down industrial areas. Just take a walk and snap some shots from the bridges. Personally, I wouldn't bother, unless you just want to say you've had the experience. Maybe it's because I have been to Venice, but this is nothing like it. How it even compares itself is beyond me 🤣

Dora the tour guide was very nice. The tour is more for the boat, there isn't much to see

Kratka posjeta Aveiru završila se vožnjom kanalima u gondoli. Super doživljaj, mjesto je simpaticno, dugogodisnja tradicija proizvodnje soli, nekada mnogo solana, a sada ostale samo dvije. Interesantan podatak je da grad Aveiro ima besplatna bicikla koja se mogu koristiti po gradu... preporuka za obilazak

33 minute tour instead of 45, and the English commentary was poor. We learnt that the boats were used for salt but not much more. Very disappointing.
